@@-king1264 I think that if anyone were to TOTALLY accept the Afrikaner culture, language, religious convictions plus be prepared to contribute (sincerely) to strengthening this community they would fit in. Question is: if this is not your cultural background, are you ready to replace your own instinctive beliefs & traditions with someone else's?

Instead of inciting violence against white Afrikaners, the leaders of South Africa should spend their time improving their country. Orania is an example of what can be done to improve reliable electricity in South Africa. The founders of Orania bought all of the land they now occupy. They worked hard, investing their own time and money in their new town. They want to maintain their own language, culture, traditions, mores, and religious beliefs. They cannot do that among the greater South African population. They are not safe among the greater South African population. They have made their own way and are self sufficient. They want to be left alone. They have harnessed solar energy. GOOD FOR THEM!

Our government has nothing to learn from Orania. The government is pursuing a non-racial/ rainbow nation . Orania and it’s people are trapped in the 1930 purist ideals and bantustan equivalence. This is sharply backward for a multicultural and racial society.
I would support that the government even grants them independence. Our society doesn’t need racists amongst it. This town celebrates people who brought trauma and gnashing of teeth to their fellow country men.

Well that sounds like your problems not theirs.
It is privately owned land. Bought and paid for. They can pretty much do whatever they want. In the rest of South Africa thousands and thousands of households generate their own power. So do the mines, farms and businesses. If you are not self sufficient in that department you suffer constant power outages called load shedding. Why all the fuss about a small town in the middle of nowhere?
In South Africa 16,000 Afrikaners and Boers migrated to Russia and Georgia country in between Russia and Turkey.
I wish that they moved to Texas, Orania, Eureka or Kleinfontein
I wish that Freedom Front Plus governs Northern Cape, West Cape, East Cape, Free State, Northwest Providence and Kwazulu Natale since 1994.
