You're videos are proof you can move forward marra cuz people think you stop drugs and that's it but as you know that's where the hard work starts have a good day pal 👍
Near 7 years of opiates an haven't looked back respect to everyone else who has or trying to an if not its the best life u can ask for keep your heads up an remember it can always be better
Beautiful. Love marrying movies with all this. The analogy of addiction like being Jason Voorhees is spot on. The Exorcist is the best film ever made. I actually could only sleep after watching it when on antidepressants. And on benzos helps. When coming off benzos I couldn't sleep alone cos of the imagery
I’ve never been addicted to drugs but I can see the pain you’ve been through, you should be really proud of how far you’ve come. You should carry on making these videos as you are a inspiration to many others
Hi big man,I can't watch horror movies no more, since getting myself clean, it used to feel like I woke up with the grim reeper next to me every morning, especially if I had no gear, thank god he helped get me through,I give thanks for everyday, I didn't think I'd make it through, but I did, been clean for a 5 stretch its gotta be now,was counting, but stopped, rake it easy paddy
If you want to blow this channel up, in the right way, then you need to structure not just your videos but a strategy of growth, plan it out, do it right.
You said at the end "I've waffled on a bit too long today!" I just thought I'd let ya know mate, you haven't waffled on, for too long at all. Many of us like listening to ya, otherwise we wouldn't bother watching your video's. Keep doing what you are doing mate. It seems to be working just fine.
If you can help one person then all your feelings about feeling ashamed will be gone, be proud of where you are now not how you got to this place, your a good guy I’m sure people can see that, keep talking I’m sure people are listening x
I remember my first attempt at getting clean. Once I got over the aching and worst of it . I watched 6 Star Wars films and all 3 godfather films in one go 😂. That was almost 24 hours right there. Then I started watching scar face and goodfellas then casino then I managed 20 minutes sleep. Also when your detoxing 2 films I watched really mess with your head with the plot. Vanilla sky and I think it’s called the island with Leo DiCaprio and Ben Kingsley. When he plays a us Marshall looking for his wife’s killer on a asylum. But he’s the one and mad.
Now then paddy I watch eagerly every morning as I have just hit the 3 month mark of my recovery and so it just be reminded of the struggle on the daily and the crap we have to go through and remind myself that it can be done if your willing to put yourself through it and do a detox I rehab or do a rattle and you know what's coming but you know it's needs must and that we always think that we have hit rock bottom and then things get worse and worse every day until you personally are ready and then you will say eff this it's time luckily I still have family and friends who care about me and want me to stay clean and be the best version of me and yeah all the things that have happened over a 20 plus year drug abuse career I swear somebody is looking over me up there I deffo had an angel on my shoulder I should of died atleast 2 times and was read my last rights by a priest in hospital 😮 but yet here I stand and we are soooo lucky to of made it through because I bet most of your mates haven't managed to make it and are gone now it's sad but anyways paddy we are here now to make the most of it mate all the best paddy 💪🏻💯👍🏻

Hey paddey thanks for keeping it real and not dressing it up with bull shit like so many on YT Have you seen Xtro just the first one not the rest, dated but classic British. I can relate to your life, not every day is good but fuck sometimes just to wake up in a warm bed. It’s hard work being a bum 🤦♂️
I'm only 3 and half minutes in and it's a fab video. I'm in active addiction after a decade clean because my partner complained about my workers attitude (most arrogant nasty man I've ever met) he stopped my methadone. I'm trying to get clean again any advice? Thank you P.s. I've always said that the drug treatment in this country could be overhauled overnight with one thing! Put people who have lived through it in these places not read it from a book and describe withdrawal as "severe flu" I've never had a flu that made me want to commit suicide! Maybe you should look at working in that industry I think you'd be amazing and help a lot of people
Love ya content mate, ya story's while in active addiction are quality please keep em coming, I've bin battling addiction for bout 18 years now and 1 saying that had really stood out to me is "addiction is giving up everything for 1 thing, while recovery is giving up 1 thing for everything" ow and we're into the same films mate n I think the film "fractured" and "Get out" yal enjoy, both on Netflix so ava gander, take care paddy ya smashing it
The original French version of "Martyrs " is the most brutal, intelligent Horror movie I´ve ever watched. Absolutely ...and btw ...it´s odd you do not mention any Gaspar Noé movies ...just when I thought it couldn´t get any better/brutal I get smashed with "Vortex ". Ever felt like someone captured your existence and made a movie out of it ? That not being an "Horror movie " per se is one of the most disturbing things I´ve ever watched. Enjoy. "Irreversible " is another masterpiece ...
Martyrs is a sick film .. yeh the original, the remake is crap, there’s loads of good films out there, “there will be blood” is one of my favourites it’s a bit slow but excellent I think
Rec is Spanish mate but still a good movie lol. Grave Encounters is good if you like found footage type films. The classics are my favourite by far, especially zombies. Could talk about horror movies all day lol, also love the old stories from when you were an addict.
Hit you up with adrenaline 😮fuck ive never ever heard of that. HAve you seen the house that Jack built? Also Hereditary looks good ive never seen it though. Thanks for the upload paddey have a great day breadbin
