Great video. Did you wipe residue off of nail once you added all your 3 color designs and then used the white? Is the white a gel polish white? Or is it a special white? Thank you!
Thank you! No I didn't wipe of the tacky gel polish layer, however you can if you wish, it should'nt make a difference.. And the white is a stamping polish, it's is similar to nail polish because it does not need curing, however is a thinner and more pigmneted consistency xo
It is a little tricky, I tend to try remove what I don't want with a lint roller, then stamp, then remove anything else unwanted with a little acetone or alcohol on a nail art brush before curing the image x
Hi Amanda hope you're well and having an awesome week so far.😊 Wow absolutely gorgeous 💅 autumn nail design love how you do this set. Very helpful video on stamping i can get the image to pick but i have problems getting the image to transfer from the stamper to the nail i might be doing it to slow or the stamping polish was at fault i recently just Purchases some born pretty & kads stamping polish and also got a set of gel stamping polish too. This video has help me out and is so helpful gonna give your stamping technique a try thanks for sharing these beauties Amanda lovely take care and have a fabulous day 😊😘🥰🤩😍
Thank you lovely! I hope you're having a great week too! I'm glad you found the video helpful! Stamping can be tricky and it does help if you can work quicker, if the design is staying on your stamping try working faster, working over the tacky layer of gel polish helps too! The born pretty stamping polishes are really good, I hope you like them! Good luck with your stamping ♥️♥️
Hi Amanda. These nails look great. I have been stamping for awhile on regular polish and i got into gel polishes a while back. I have 11 stampers and im having issues picking up the images when using gel stamping polish. And when i try to stamp on the nail the image just smears. Do you need to do something different when using gel stamping polish or do you need a special stamper? Been very frustrated..
Hmm tbh I've heard quite a few people say this about stamping gel polish, I've never tried it myself due to the reviews, I've always found stamping polish to be the best thing to use, also stamping polish can be used over gel polish, acrylic, regular polish etc so it's very versatile, if you haven't already used stamping polish I'd highly recommend giving that go ♥️
I love the nails, you did a great job! Im genuinely losing my mind and I was wondering if you could help me. I tried stamping and I couldnt get the image to pick up at all. I was using a regular nail polish, scraped at a 45 degree angle, did a gentle roll and it wouldnt come off. I always clean up the plate with acetone and the stamper with tape after every try. Next I tried scuffing my stamper so it turned sticky but that didnt work either. Sometimes it picked up a small amount but never the full image. After literally trying 50 times, im wondering if the problem was that I didnt use actual stamping polish or the plate I have is simply etched too deep so the stamper isnt able to pick up anything. The plate is by Born pretty - texture L011. What do you think?
Hey lovely! Yes honestly I think the problem you may have had is not using stamping polish.. with regular polish it dries a lot slower and 2 coats is usually recommend, with stamping polish it's a thinner consistency but a lot more pigmented, it also dries alot faster, all these properties make it work for stamping.. you may find the odd normal polish will work, but it's very inconsistent.. I'd highly recommend getting a black or white stamping polish to begin with and practicing with those - I've used the born pretty ones and they work well ♥️
@@EnchantedNailsByAmanda Thank you for your input! I actually succeeded yesterday after writing my comment. The issue was that I needed to clean my stamper with dish soap and I needed to do a faster roll. In my mind the previous roll I did was already fast but I guess I needed to go Sonic fast lol. Normal nail polish worked fine but I did notice the color turned out fainter. I will definitely work with stamping polish in the future but for now I can use up my regular polish.
Hey! Are you using stamping polish? You need to make sure you're stamping quickly, so after applying your stamping polish, scrap the excess and do and Quick light roll over the image with your stamper ❤️ If you check out my stamping playlist you may find some more help x
I really love these, the colours and the stamping, so pretty!!
Aww thank you so much! 🍂♥️
Love these Amanda! Beautifully done. I learned how to stamp from a lot of your videos! TFS! 💯🤎💛🧡
Awww thank you - that makes me so happy! ♥️♥️ thank you for watching xo
Do you do the stamping itself also with UV/LED gel polish or is it just normal or special stamping polish?
Hey! The stamping has done with stamping polish, which is similar to regular polish but more pigmentated and dries quick x
@@EnchantedNailsByAmandais there any safety risk with putting non-gel stamping polish under UV/LED light? 🤔

What about gel stamping polish? How do you single out an image with it? Or remove what you don't want off the stamper? I'm having issues with that
