    just wanted to say thank you to you fineokay, your community, and Mast for putting in the time and the effort to brainstorm these ideas and get involved with the notion that every Smite god should get some changes going into Smite 2, I really like what you guys have come up with and even if HI-Rez doesn't decide to put any of these changes into smite 2 I really hope that they recognize that this is what the community wants. With a new engine comes new possibilities as we have seen with the changes to Sol's 1. I really like the direction Smite 2 is headed and I really hope Hi-Rez continues to put in the effort to freshen up every god going into Smite 2. Thank you again for making this video and getting more people involved in the push for a greater Smite 2 for everyone

    you cooked with the bellona idea here is mine
    Geb rework concept
    At the start of the game, you begin as Mini Geb. As you use your Roll Out ability, you gradually gain mass, eventually growing to the size of Cthulhu or larger. When you use your second ability, it causes you to shed some of your mass, which reduces your size but may increase the ability's range and add anticipation effects based on your current size.
    For your third ability, you peel off some of your mass to throw at teammates. The amount of mass you remove reduces your size and provides a proportional shield to the teammate based on the mass given.
    Your ultimate ability acts as your mass accumulator: you pull the earth beneath you to cloak yourself in it, stunning all nearby enemies and significantly increasing your mass.
    Essentially, I envision Geb's gameplay loop to be akin to Cu Chulainn's, where you manage the size of your character instead of rage. This concept fits well with Geb’s lore as the embodiment of the Earth, making his size management a core aspect of his character gameplay.
    Additionally, as Geb increases in size, his health points would also adjust to reflect his larger size, making him a bigger target.

    Like a lot of these changes. They add a lot of neat complexity to every God and just makes everyone more interesting. Would love to see these implemented especially Aphro, Chang’e, and Baba (since they’re some of my favs)

    What up fineo! Cern is one of my favorite gods and I had some ideas that’d be cool.
    1: Make season stances have a greater initial effect but lessen after each auto, almost like reverse hel passive. Encourages you to actively switch stances while fighting, skill expression. And/or allow switch stance backwards too.
    2: The quicker you cancel your dash the shorter the cooldown is. Rewards the risky dash/auto cancel for more burst dmg. So if you insta cancel, cooldown goes from 17s lvl1 to like 9 idk.
    3. Every auto on a polymorphed god increases duration by x amount. Probably small for balancing.
    I think these changes would increase his identity of the god of seasons and the hunt, while giving him better skill expression. Also allows him to better match his playstyle of being aggressive and in your face.

    I feel like Erlang could use a big rework but I’ll just briefly an idea. Replace the Pin with a command for his dog, it will latch onto the enemy and root them briefly, then continue to bite and slow them. Enemies can hit the dog to reduce the time it bites them. This is taken from some interpretations of his fight with Wukong where he had the dog do this in order to keep him pinned down.

    A lot of these changes sound AWESOME. Also, the whole climbing on walls mechanic for Arachne and Bastet won't be very difficult to add, as that kind of untargetable verticality already exists on gods like Thor and Thanatos. Technically, even current Arachne ult is a better comparison. The entire idea is that the enemy god is untargetable but still easily viewable in your screen, as they aren't flying in the air. That's a specific mechanic I've wanted for a long time. Sort of like a self-banish that you can launch attacks from. Bastet can climb up a wall and then only use her 1 out of it, which will pounce at enemies and deal a bunch of bonus damage because she's attacking first. I also like the concept of Cabrakan breaking down walls, but I feel like doing it permanently might be a bit too much. I'm in favour of changing his 2 into a dash, that if collided with a wall, friendly or map wall, will break through it, creating a temporary pathway for maybe 10s. But to make it not as OP, they can say that the walls can only be broken once every 5 minutes or something.
    I'm also interested in a lot of damage reworks, where some gods are designed around killing tanks while other gods are stronger and hit harder by virtue of being tanks, but specifically have slow animation times to make it so they can't zoom around with their damage. Mulan is a perfect candidate for that. Same with Cthulhu. Give both those characters abilities that scale with prots/health, and make the tank items feel genuinely TANKY. That way those gods will still have to go through their entire animations, but will feel tanky enough to be able to do those. Conversely, other gods like Tsukuyomi/Cliodhna/Ullr/AMC and any other squishy gods that you tend to see in solo, should have special parts of their kit designed as a way of beating gods in that role. What if Tsukuyomi 2, instead of just slapping squishies for like 1300 late game, have the final stun hit based off of no strength/int scaling, but only a percent of the opponents' max health? That way, you're incentivised to use it against tanks, and it'll hit squishies for less, allowing for the rest of his kit to feel good as an anti-tank style character. This was just one example, but I feel like there aren't a lot of gods that are good at killing tanks, but rather just capable of building items that kill tanks. The emphasis in Smite 2 should move away from items that slam to gods that slam and items just help.

    As an ama main I love the ama ideas. Procing the 3 auto passive on the dash is a great idea since so many fights I can't get 3 autos on a god to even make use of the passive which is just sad. And I love the compassion idea in placing an aura on the ground with ur shield (2). I'd love some more versatility in support from this although I do think the teleport to it is too strong.. but u can do whatever with this ability. Small movement/attack speed buff, temp hp5 buff, temp power buff, temp prot buff, u see the point... sick idea, I love it. It can be so hard to stick to ppl when u play into hard cc heavy comps with slows, and this compassion buff would be a great way to give slow immunity as a reward for recognizing when to shield urself and when to place the buff on the ground. Adds skill expression to ama and would allow reward additional team mobility for proper play and give her sum peel
    Edit: also her dash is so fucking bad sometimes with dashing thru ppl. I wouldn't mind a rework of that ability at all. Keep the silence, proc the passive and balence it however u want

    anhur 3 out of a bush could either have a bigger aoe or longer range. ratatoskr could lean into his mischevious messaging in lore; his ult could toss some acorns down after each jump that slow or tremble, and maybe play sound queues of some abilities currently in your game to confuse the enemy.

    With the wukong change I think you should play as the clone with half the stats and use abilities with half the effectiveness and allow you to cancel control of the clone by pressing 4 again

    Hachiman 3’s does less damage but moves Hachiman to a melee stance that can be cancelled any time.
    His mp5 swaps to hp5 in this stance and his autos deal 10% more.
    His 1 is a toggle that cleaves but has a slower attack chain. (No mana)
    His 2 is a short range simple line attack that reduces dr on enemies hit and increases Hachiman movement speed when moving towards them. (Dmg abilty that does auto attack dmg)
    His 3 is a simple short range spin attack that increases your attack speed for each enemy hit. (Dmg abilty that does auto attack dmg)
    Hachiman May ult in this form where he slows himself and sheathes his sword for a fast line attack dash after. This abilty will use mana and act as a damaging abilty but is a 30% health threshold execute. (I wanted this to be weaker than other executes)
    Hachiman may cancel his melee stance any time by pressung his 3 twice to put the sword away as part of the animation or maybe just by cancelling?

    You could add to amc, make his hives have a line that connects between each hive that acts like Heimdallr portal in the sense of a ward since he has 0 escape outside of movement speed. His hives already are supposed to work as mini wards anyway.

    The bog change would be hilarious if you built some of both str and int and then ran in and out of ally auras or something. Just constantly changing stances based off stats lmao

    Edit: You cooked with Ao Kuang. After seeing your suggested Baka changes you have become my favorite smite dev. Holy cook. This video has made me realize how much potential smite 2 has. If they don't do something like this to existing gods I will be disappointed.

      good idea, it feels kinda like crap when you wanna use your ult to heal a bit but you also wanna be able to kill them but you have to hop out of your ult early because the enemy is running away. being able to move would mean you get a couple extra ticks of healing out of your ult before you are forced to hop out. also, if people dont kill your clone they wont know where you are and it can be a really good escape tool, he will be very hard to kill which i think suits him because he normally builds like half damage anyway.

    - Tschernebogs 3 should be able to trigger his Crystal (skill 1) too
    - Yemoja 3 should always push allies forward and always push enemys back

    I'm fine with it. Some of them are awesome.
    Also...let The Morrigan teleport to her clone, and let her 2 proc on all enemy targets. Then, if you hit them a second time with it, it detonates in a small area around the target, dealing damage over time.

    The apollo change would be cooler if it gave haste instead imo. His passive is there to allow you to attack faster but you are then supposed to attack slower to the beat. It seems a bit counter intuitive

    give baka a 5% god execute on his 2
    also with wukong, make it so that when his passive is triggered, hitting enemy gods with abilities spawn weaker clones (one clone per god hit) that target the god that spawned them. then when wukong uses another ability, all clones would also use that ability but doing less damage and less cc duration

    Artemis should get more skill shots being a hunteress. A snipe style skill that traps enemies like a bola style trap would be neat.

    Good changes. I think controlling the wukong clone while in the cloud would be sick. Same thing as you said though, 50% less damage but all 3 abilities. Then you just land where your clone is.

    Some of these changes feel like how Smite 2 should be. Not only being a engine and graphical update, but introduce completely new mechanics. Let Cab destroy the damn map. Make gods able to climb walls.
    Heck, maybe they should've introduced vertical aiming to begin with, to make it a truly 3D moba akin to Paragon. Ah man, these ideas are inspired. I want these to happen so bad! I'm here for part 2 !

    Amazing vid! (Need part 2 ASAP) This is EXACTLY what i think we are all hoping for with SMITE 2.
    Right now, almost all the "reworks" they've done feel so underwhelming or just literally non-existent.
    All of these changes in this video are absolutely perfect, and would make the characters so much more fun. It would make each god way more unique, interactive and give something for new players to learn and experience, and old players to get SUPER hype for and excited to try out. THIS is what an almost 20 year upgrade in engine SHOULD look like!
    Someone pls give this powerpoint to Hi-rez. This is a literal silver platter for a better game being made for them BY THE COMMUNITY

      Swap her 3 and her ult and adjust the power so that her ult is a huge burst heal with some other effect and her 3 would just be a 1s stun that lets her chase and peel. Then make her 2 also have a *very* small heal and suddenly we have a chang'e who has consistent CC and can be run in basically anything other than ADC

    This stuff would certainly make the game feel a lot fresher. Perhaps they could also just revisit a bunch of gods every patch since its quite the huge effort.
    My awful idea thats worse to implement and even more horrible to balance is to add interaction between the elements.
    Stuff like water putting out fire, electricity spreading on water, etc
    Just a few examples
    Zeus Ult on Yemoja ult (on same team) spreads damage for enemies that contact the wave, but perhaps an enemy zeus could still electrify the water and therefore slightly counter by making yemojas team take slight damage when passing through the water or some other minor effect (reduce shields)
    Bake/Chaac being able to put out any residual flames or shorten the duration
    Fire gods being able to burn through bushes/plants of sorta
    Even some not directly elemental abilities could get some effect. Heimdalls Horn blowing out flames or something.
    Perhaps add other non-elements such as "life" or "death" where buffs and debuffs have interactions or something

    Some nice QoL changes for aphro would already be that she can either choose before using her 1 if she wants to kiss enemies or allies. Cause I always want to use the ability on for example an enemy, but then there are 2 allies standing in front of the enemy and I can't stun them. Secondly, allowing the "bond" to work as followed. You kiss someone you create the bond and instead of it being completely destroyed when getting out of range it just becomes in like a stasis mode, so when you come back in range it just activates again, maybe aftera short delay like 1 or 2 sec.

    Chang’e and hou yi should have strong synergy in duo lane, Kind of like xayah rakan in lol. When I started playing the game I always thought their romantic lore was really cool but chang’e support sucks so you never really see them together. Some unique dialogue when they’re together would be really cool. And maybe when they’re in opposite teams they deal like 10% less damage to each other to show they’re holding back against their lover. We already have some special passives like this with sett/horus Thor/Loki too right? I think their lore deserves something too, hopefully not too impactful on gameplay but some extra spice to make the lore more impactful.

    I love these changes and really hope they consider implementing lots of them. Not only the cool ones like Cabraken or Bastet but especially the ones with more player choice and skill expression like Aphrodite, Awilix or Bellona. Smite has been known as the easy/baby MOBA and it's about time it's taken seriously and that starts with god design. Every god should be "playable" at a low skill level but most should have high skill expression that top players can really show off on. There is no reason to dumb down kits. Ignorance is bliss and new players won't know what they're missing, but I can promise any half decent player is bored with a kit like Bake.

    I always wished Tiamats lil lizards were sort of mid range minions that stood behind the melees. Cuz they just feel like they die insanely quick either by the tower or other minions

    The cabrakan passive change idea seems cool. However I think it's unlikely to be implemented. Instead being able to remove all player made walls like Thor or Ymir stuff would be similar and awesome

    aphrodite rework sounds like karma from league. not in the kit sense, but her ult empowering her abilities is a similar mechanic. i think that would be really cool and make her a lot more interesting to play

    Those Arachne kit changes are sick
    I think it would be neat if they moved her current 1 to her old passive, replacing the increased in-hand damage on her basics with a venom effect that deals a very small base damage and scales with Intelligence. To enhance an Intelligence playstyle, the spiderlings would also apply her passive, dealing about half as much damage as they currently do at base, but dealing her passive damage, each with their own unique individual proc. Imagine the combo being to stun a target, place your web on them, then press 1 as your spiders wail on them and nuke a single target.
    It would be pretty cool to see more leaning into the venom bleed nuker playstyle she used to have, and turning her into a more magical-style Intelligence scaling assassin could be a good way to enable that
    I'm biased tho because I hate her current kit and I always have >:C

    A idea for Ah Puch is just more interactions in general with bodies and dead things wether its like stacks from player corpses to gain more power in a passive or just gaining more power from being near bodies like a minion wave or enemy/ally corpse. Ive been begging for some sort of corpse interaction even if its just as simple as a like thana heal or cama heal off bodies.

    These ideas are way better than the stuff hirez are doing right now, they make the skill ceiling a lot higher and way more interesting to play, definetly will make the game better. If the kit design team don't make changes based on this vid, they should be fired and get someone else to do it.

    Let me cook. Cthulhu’s 1 is normal but he can press it again after it hits one or more gods to stun them for 1 second. Cthulhu’s 2 comes out the same speed but in 1 drop then the sludge forms an arm that grabs them a brings them to the middle of the 2. Hear me out!! His 3 is like a Hercules push where he flys forward grabbing the person and he stuns them. Ult: Cthulhu’s 1 protection shreds his two is a giant aoe knock up in a circle around him and three pulses a slow that stacks as well as healing allies for a few seconds and ult gives passive mitigations in ult or even shield so he isn’t bursted as easily. Thoughts???

    This might be wild but Achilles, if you hit first dash next dash is CC immune and if you dbl dash on an enemy the second dash scales in dmg.

    Let Gilgamesh autos cleave when his 1 is active. Can lose the hp5/some damage but would give him some clear and in lane boxing potential without blowing 2/3 abilities just to kill wave.

    Ares rework: make his 3 his autoattack and have it behave like Jorm. Ares AA animation's are super slow and frankly look really goofy and I feel like they add almost nothing to his kit while the 3 feels like a necessary evil so your damage isn't front-loaded into your 1 and overwhelming

      Also make his 2 give a really short pull (like Poseidon 1) if you cast it while you have a chain on someone so you have *some* ability to try and force people into your ult or attempt to pull their beads before ulting

      Tbh, as an Ares enjoyer myself, I like the damage dealing combo of his Chains + Fire, and it feels like I’m torturing my opponents which adds to the fantasy of the character I’m playing. What I don’t like is how I goofily protect my team while I’m torturing my opponents. I feel like if his 2 would, instead of providing aura prots, just dealt damage in an AoE around him and yanked enemy champs that are chained towards him by like 10 units or so, then it’d feel like Ares is toying with his food and it would be fun to play him. I just feel like support feels like an awful role to play that god and it would make more sense if his entire strength was in being a battle tank that fights and kills enemy gods.

    AMC's ult should be a dash and is on the short CD if he doesn't hit anyone and if he does hit someone it should cripple and poison them. Long CD. Similar to Medusa dash. Also if they could just fix the bug with placing his hive down while getting cc'd destroys your hive and puts you on cd. Also if they could either instantly get rid of the hive aura when it's destroyed or let you keep the hive buff until the aura is gone that would be great. The short delay on it disappearing is so annoying and can be the difference between living and dying.

    Yo what if after ares places his 3, if you press 3 again you recall it, you jump forward a bit, then slam in in the ground in front of you (kinda like Achilles 1 but shorter range) and give a small knockup (shiva 2?) or other cc. And maybe for each god hit you can slam additional times after ( max 2-3? )
    Would give mobility and reward hitting your abilities. Thoughts yall?

    Chang'e isn't the goddess of music too, she's the goddess of the moon only. I main Chang'e and I would love to see her reworked into more of a support. I feel like it suits her. Right now her current state of going blink and being a one shot assassin isn't fitting for her at all.

      Bacchus is already like Gragas. League has already hit the nail on the head in terms of making characters with cool unique mechanics that REALLY fit the theme of the character rather than, "here's another circle damage and this time it trembles". Smite needs to do that too, because gods don't feel different enough at the moment.

    Being realistic, most of these are way too complex and the overwhelming majority of players in SMITE 2 would not be able to use these to full effectiveness.

      I think this is a funny thing to say. There are no Smite 2 players yet bro, it’s a new game! It can attract more competitive, skillful players. Content creators can start fresh on a new game and teach people how to master complex kits if they exist. Just because the general Smite 1 playerbase can’t do it now doesn’t mean you shouldn’t push for it in Smite 2.
      Also, a lot of these changes simply increase the god’s skill ceiling without raising the skill floor (some exceptions,) meaning you can still do well with them without using them to full effectiveness. Just like the majority of smite 1 playerbase right now 😅
