Amazing! When you were folding up the pieces, and slotting them together, I thought... So easy, but I'd never have believed how easy that was! Thanks a bunch, my friend.
Hi Jess, it is easy and yet not too many people have been showing it. I think I've seen an elaborate die for it as well, but I'd rather spend my money on something I can't cut/fold without a die. Hope you enjoy making it. Glenda
I love all the cards you made. I'm always looking for new ideas for dimensional/pop cards and you have certainly given me some inspiration. Thank you so much.
Wow, you made that look so easy ... well done! You're amazingly talented & I always enjoy seeing all your creative projects. Thanks so much for sharing! :)
Beautiful cards Glenda. I found this video particularly interesting because I just bought two of the Xcut shadow box die sets last week for half price and I haven't really looked at how to put them together yet. I like the accordion box sides. Yours all turned out great xx
Which dies did you get? I only have this countryside one, but my daughter has a couple - balloons I think and possibly carnival. I have to go and check out what she has later. I did find a video (I think it was docrafts) that was quite good that showed making a dancing scene with two of the die sets. It looked quite an easy method to use them. Not sure if I could adapt it to my one die though as it looked through 2 windows. Glenda
I bought the winter village and the Santa in the sky. That's my Xmas cards sorted LOL. I liked how you put together your own designs though. They looked great. Xx
I came cross this video by accident. What a happy accident! This is brilliant idea. Your teaching is clear, concise and motivating. I am so happy to hqave come across this video. new subbie also. Thank you so much for sharing!
Hi Glenda!!! Outstanding cards. I'm inspired to the point that I think I want to play with some paper to see if I can make one of these. Thank you for sharing these. (Glenda)
Hi Lainie, Nice to hear from you. We're heading into winter here and it has started to be cold and wet. Ready to hibernate in my craft room I think (of course that's what I mostly do anyway). Glenda
All I can say is Wow! And as I doubt I'd ever try these (I'm so lazy!), all I can do is droooolll! Great ideas, thank you Glenda. P.S. I think you said once you don't care for Flowersoft very much and I see you managed to slip it in there. Ha Ha! Well done.
Flowersoft is certainly not a "go to" but there are occasions when it does add something :-) These cards really aren't as time consuming as you might think. Granddaughter (7) came over on Sunday and we made matching cards using a sea scene die in under an hour. (She is an experienced crafter.) The sides really do come together as quickly as I showed. Can't honestly say I ever thought my cards were drool worthy :-)

Thank you. I'm just working on a bendi card at the moment. They have a similar feel and I am putting tanks on it for my SIL.
Can't wait to see what you come up with.
