Fun fact: The demon bat is actually coded for 3 phases in the code, making it a seperate boss. Attacks include Bat Bouncer, Cross Toss, Pentagrams, Wolf Fire, and Wolf Soul. The Wolf Fire and Wolf Soul attacks may of been used in the 3rd phase.

A other boss was scrapped from this game it was the mini versions of goppey they ware meant to be in the fight but it was scrapped

Really Cool! But.... the demon bat when introduced would've either been a separate boss to face before fighting the devil, OR one of the devils animal attacks that transform him into a spider, snake, and then, supposedly a bat. The background for the devil bat in the cuphead trailer footage is just an early background for the hell fight.
On that same note, we can see now that the angel and demon boss in TDLC is a scrapped second phase for the devil. This supported by the original 2nd phase having the same concept art and gameplay as the angel and demon fight. We also see the devils skeleton in the background, which fits right into it being the second phase because at the end of the first phase we see the devil jump out of skin into the ground as a skeleton. Then, the third/last phase of the devil fight sees the player face him and his soul one last time in the depths of hell. Anyway...Thnaks for reading!

The secret phase was never actually made but in the DLC the secret boss “Angel and Demon” would’ve been the 2nd phase with the skeleton devil’s hands out. The demon bat was actually his own fight that was coded and all but no assets remained. And Demon Bat actually had 3 coded phases; a normal 1st phase, one where he would’ve obviously used the coffin in some way, and then the final phase he would’ve turned into a werewolf.
I saw the Devil Bat fight overlap with the Devil 2nd phase
@Shaconda Cartoons The Demon Bat isn't the Devil, his code is seperate from the Devil and his phase 3 is a Wolf (Since it's another animal that vampires transform into according to mythology).
He doesnt transforms into wolf at phase 3. His attacks are just wolfs such wolf fire and wolf soul

The demon bat was going to be an official part of the devil bossfight but eventually got scrapped and also they were going to add a new animation to the second phase when the dramatic trumpet starts but was also eventually scrapped to become a scared cuphead animation
yep , that is true and that is why I made the animation of the devil bat attacks as a boss fight cause I hoped to see it in the real game ^ ^
@@ShacondaCartoons demon bat was gonna be a boss fight before you fight the devil. But the reason why the deleted it the most are unknown but a reason says that the creators didn't wanted a boss between devil and king dice because king dice is the devil's right hand man

@@joeydrewinkwellstudios6277 i drew the frames on paper then I scan them and export the scanned frames to Photoshop to color them the I used adobe animate to move my frames and then I used adobe premiere to add the final edit like sound effects and etc .. 😊

Yooooooooo, this is so good! I wish this was in the actual game, then instead of 4, the devil would have seven phases.
Six; the bat's third phase (where he hangs on a bar) wasn't in the video.
The demon bat has 3 phases:
Phase 1: The average demon bat.
Phase 2: He incases himself in a coffin and even clones himself.
Phase 3: He transforms into a Wolf until he is beaten.
