If I am going to take the cuttings from the field and put them immediately inside in potting soil (to leaf out and prepare for spring planting) should I still do the 3 step sanitizing process you mention?
@@jeffmeyers3837 Your comment is pretty rude. The guy doesn't have to make videos at all! Most gardeners would know this or they could figure out that their garden center probably carries it. It's used on most fruiting trees and bushes to kill bug eggs and even some funguses, etc. If using it outside, you usually want the temperature to be forty degrees or higher.
Hi Lisa! You can purchase our cuttings on our website at www.RiverHillsHarvest.com/shop. We have a number of varieties as well as certified organic cuttings. They'll ship out over the next few months as we get them ready.
Thanks great video clearninstructions
I am so glad that I was able to purchase some of your Pocahontas cuttings. I got 100% success with them rooting. You guys are the best!
Great video! Thank you for showing each detail on the cuttings. Really looking forward to spring! ❤
You are so welcome!
What time of year to cut down and what is dormant oil please
HI Terry--thanks for another great video! On the disinfectant--should the peroxide and AVC both be used full strength?
What if there’s spotting of light brown in the middle? Is that bad?
I just found you when googling how to propagate my elderberry’s! This was so helpful! Ps. What kind of shares are you using?
thank you!
Great video thank you.
Glad you liked it!

"I think it’s best. Most importantly the dormant oil. It kills the mites that overwinter on the buds." Terry Durham
@@DeniCaryPhillips what is dormant oil?
Would these grow in central Wisconsin?
What is dormant oil, is there one you recommend ?
I was wondering the same thing. What a dummy for telling us to use something then not explaining what it is or how to get it.

Do you plant these in rows as well or prefer beds?
