Well. I'm not happy about the Tariq Skuball trade talk. Remember the Justin Verlander trade? We traded him for what, three or four prospects. What did we end up with? One player. Meanwhile, Verlander helped the Astros to a World series win. Prospects don't always develop into Major League players. The word is, for every two prospects. Only one is a likely success. So for this to work, I think the Tigers would need to get six prospects, from a top team. That ain't likely to happen. No trades for Skuball, please.
No hurry about trading Tarik Skubal, if you get offered 3 starting infielders from Baltimore now you can get it at the end of the year...unless Skubal gets hurt.... and you will have a better idea regarding if you want to trade him for a haul or not. Plus we have only 3 starting pitchers right now. and we may lose Flaherty to trade - what will we do for pitching if we trade both of them?
