I used to have way too many statement pieces. I gravitated toward them to have something interesting, but they didn't feel very "repeatable." If I wore it, and got lots of comments on it, I didn't feel like I could whip it out again the next week. So I ended up with a closet full of things I was hesitant to rewear. Lesson learned.
Because I purchased items I needed throughout the year I do not feel pressured during the holidays. My next time to shop will be in January when everything will be on clearance. That's my time to replace worn out basics, see if anything on the wishlist is on sale and find a bargain.
Wow another video and just in time! The Black Friday sales are so tempting right now, and you’ve just talked some sense into me. Better to wait for “better” than get caught up.
Omg, this is the best video yet. I've always wondered "what do I need to look out for to make sure it's a worth while purchase?". This is a game changer!
Hi Helen! Good to see more videos and outfits! Also, I needed this video because recently I’ve been buying too much lol You made me downsize my wishlist 😅 Thank you for sharing with us how we can make use of the clothes we own.
Hello, I love your vidoes! I would love to see a video on undergarments! Recently, I went to try on the Uniqlo mini tee that you reccomeded in another video, and it was a bit see-through. I'm wondering how you style the tee in a practical way considering undergarments ❤
"buy ingredients not outfit" omg you opened my eyes!!!
your videos have really changed my outlook on my wardrobe. i have downsized a ton and am finally starting to feel excited about my clothes again!!
So happy to hear! I am always SO much more inspired as well when things are a little more curated and downsized :)

I've moved to a new city, do you have an recommendations on finding a good tailor?
I tend to start with a small project and go from there. E.g. if they're friendly and their work is good, I'll be back with larger alterations :)
