Good-fricken-lord, my dude! That’s an incredible game room. So much variety. I imagine a person could spend days looking through all that. Every time I watch your videos I lean something new. You have some pretty deep cuts as far as consoles go. I think that’s what makes the hobby fun. Awesome video!
Thanks! it's a journey for sure. This is just what I have displayed I do have a few more things still in storage and I have my Switch games (~300 games) in totes still and some loose stuff I don't have displayed to protect it. now my SNES collection has nothing on yours. I could spend a couple of days just going through your shelf. You've got a few things I've never seen in the wild. I do have a interest in the non-mainstream stuff. mostly because that type of stuff is widely regarded as "not worth your time" when in reality there are some very cool concepts or unique experiences to be had but, "X-popular RUclipsr" has deemed it unworthy in the hobby. Thanks for taking the time with this one!
Just where does one start! That, however, is my kind of collection, everything, from everywhere, and from all time. Complete set collections are nice enough, but give me variety any day of the week. Shame its a C64 sitting there and not a Speccy, but nobody's perfect, right? 😉 I need some Japanese games in my life. And I'm very jealous of your Tink 5X. Good to hear that the whole family games too, even if it is Barbie 😉 Loved watching this 😎👍
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I haven't given up on a speccy just yet but I haven't really been able to find a quality example here in the states. I've always been a big fan of original hardware and I like to collect games of interest on each piece of hardware I have. I've got nothing wrong with emulations but I've always been into peripherals and that's one thing that emulation (software and hardware like the MiSTer) tend to forget. On certain games it really negates the authentic experience for me. That Tink 5x is amazing but I keep my OSSC around because there have been some instances where the Tink 5x doesn't quite get the look I want or it has compatibility issues. I must say tough, original games scaled to 1440p with the Tink's HDR support are super compelling. Thanks for motivating me to get over myself and just get it done and also for checking this one out!
Dude!! So much cool stuff!! I now realize I’m an absolute amateur and have a lot of “basic stuff” you obviously have a vast knowledge of a lot of uncommon and obscure stuff and a lot of Japanese stuff. Really respect the Bomberman love!! I’m gonna have to watch this multiple times cuz my mind was blown half the video with stuff I know nothing about and have never even heard of….also soooo many peripherals and add ons etc !! Absolutely loved this and you sir have one amazing collection!!
Thanks! I wouldn't say you're an amateur. Size, rarity, or obscurity don't dictate the collections meaning to you. I've always been into peripherals. How you play the game is just as important as the game itself. Unless its the Wii or Gamecube, those two had controllers that just were an awful experience in my opinion. If there's anything you're curious about don't hesitate to ask. I'm always willing to help. Thanks for taking the time with this one!
I always suspected you’d have an incredible collection but this totally surpassed my expectations. Such an amazing area! I’m extremely jealous of the beautiful crts. The AV set up on the rack looks blooming awesome. The book / magazine racks in the closet work well and nice to see Sega powered. Some superb snes / SFC titles. I’ve still to play sunset riders. Don’t think I’ve seen that Toaplan set before. All amazing games. Never seen so many dencha de go controllers 😮. Cheers for sharing amigo 👍😊🕹️
Thanks! The CRTs have been a venture more recently for me. I've stayed on the hunt for them regularly and gotten some great deals. I went with the racks versus shelving just because for function. Everything I have setup is playable with the press of a few buttons on multiple screens. I backed Sega powered on Kickstarter. It's been a great magazine. That Toaplan collection was sadly a limited licensed re-release. I wish RetroBit had done some more rounds of orders for the individual carts so it would be accessible to more people. Thanks for taking the time with this one!
Awesome game room too man, you have a lot of fantastic stuff. Everything seems well organized and functional. I’m sure that wasn’t the easiest to figure out with so much to hook up. Thanks for showcasing everything.
Planning wasn't easy but I had the time. my goal was focus less on an abundance of kitsch and more on the functionality of the space. everything hooked up and playable with the flick of a few buttons. Glad you enjoyed taking a peek. Thanks for sticking through this one, I know it was fairly longer.
Always knew once you got a good space you would do a tour. More than impressive man! 👌🏼 Clean and functional. Looks like you have a decent sized spot finally to setup and display. I spotted 8 games for the NES I am missing. I always tend to do that when folks are showing them off. 😂 Super Mario RPG is a great game! Congrats on picking that one up. I would say your N64 collection may not be massive but you have all the best games covered. A few import 64 games I would like to pickup eventually. Sin and Punishment and the Virtual Pro Wrestling games. The question that should be asked is how long have you been steadily in to collecting? The accessories/controllers you have collected are so quirky, cool and interesting. Great tour man. 🤙🏻🍻
I could use a space that is just a tad bigger. I have a bunch of stuff not on display. I have a bit of loose Genesis carts and more loose SFC and loose handheld stuff, not to mention something like 300+ Switch games 😅. With no real offense to anyone, I've watched a fair amount of game room tours and they just seem cluttered to me. Every inch of space packed tightly with games and collectibles. It's neat to see and glad folks are passionate about their hobbies but, inside it bugs me. My space may not be the cleanest most organized but, I'd say it's functional and everything that is out is easily accessible. Curious, what are the NES games you are missing? I've collected off and on for years. More heavily over the past 7ish years. I stick to some tight collecting rules though. Mostly around what I should pay for games. Also I don't have any repros in my collection that aren't officially licensed. Nothing against anyone who does. I just personally don't think they're worth much more than the materials any yet I see them on rarer titles going for more than the game sold at retail🤯. Another thing I employ heavily is patience and similar to you persistence. I've snagged flash carts and ODEs for almost every system I have. It allows me to play the games and determine if it's something I truly want and gives me an outlet to play the game while I keep my eye out for a copy at the right price. Thanks for watching bud! It'd be cool to see a tour of your room. cheers 🍻🍻
Has it reached it's final form? I don't even know 🤣. I have realized once I got it up and running I've spent more time playing games. which is the purpose of a games room isn't it? 😂 Thanks for taking the time on this one!

Your video reminded me that I need to pick up a magazine rack. I bet Chris would love to see that Bomberman collection :) Thanks for sharing! I’m behind on my tour :/
Some days it's tough but, I honestly go through console phases. There are times were I just want fire something up and spend a few weeks playing Playstation or PCE. Then something completely different the next week. The magazine racks are actually just file organizers. they do a far job of displaying magazine's though. I'm sure Chris will get excited to see the Bomberman respresentation here. Looking forward to your tour since you've reorganized into your new space!
I going to have to quote the great Ric Flair. Wooooooo! That’s a lot of cool stuff. So much Japanese goodness. How about this, if you let me borrow the Super CD for a bit, I’ll teach you how to land on the aircraft carrier in Top Gun!😆🦈
Wooooo! Indeed. I've landed a Cessna in real life before you'd think a fake Tomcat wouldn't get me down. Hey though, I'm a former Fly boy, what does Navy boat people know about aviation anyway 🤣. Thanks for working your way through this one. I know it was a bit longer than usual.
I'm sure Mary and yourself have a killer game room. besides, I don't have that X-men wall 😎. Glad you enjoyed it, you guys should do a tour yourself. Thanks for sticking this one through!

The company has had a nightmare of an entrance into the market and sadly, the talent behind it hasn't done many favors to their company's reputation. Fingers crossed 🤞 they get it all figured out. The System is great though, intuitive and they've really kept their ear to the ground adding features and the like. They're launching an online service that will allow you to play retro online with friends as if it were couch co-op. Best way I can describe it is "Emulation done the right way" since it's about backing up your collection and not just a box you can download a bunch of roms from the internet. Also there is not fetching of a bios or ten or so layered programs to configure like Retroarch. Just insert media and play. Thanks for sticking through this one, I know it was a bit longer.
