I’m in my 60’s. I’ve listened to a lot of music in my lifetime. No other group or artists has ever grabbed my attention as BTS. It’s not just their extraordinary talent, it’s their humbleness, appreciation and how they inspire people all over this planet. I see so many musicians here in North America that are rude, selfish, flaunt their wealth and power for all the wrong reasons. They may have talent but at the core they are sorely lacking. BTS transcends any other artist I’ve heard and this world is a better place because of them. 💜💜💜
a big YESSSSSS!!!!!!
On point! 👍💜
Yeah💜
Im a 69 yr old army...BTS and ARMY got me thru covid. 💜 I love my family !
I'm a just turned 68 ARMY who retired from the male dominated petroleum industry 5 years ago. You find BTS when you need them. I needed them then and more so during Covid. Las Vegas was my 3rd concert (Wembley & Sofi) and I will keep going till I can't anymore.
"They understand something about me that no one else does"... this is so true..
I don't know why but I'm crying now... I'm sending you a virtual hug...
Love from Italy..
ciao can we be friends? I like Italy and I am army 💜💜💜
I cried a little too, it's so true!
In a BTS concert, you never feel alone. It feels like being with something like a family... it's all love and respect.
@@MichMartinezMoraga i hope that could be extended to everybody, not just among Army, cause the world certainly need it😔
@@OrualMuse That's what we are all hoping for.
Taylor is 💯 right ONLY ARMY CAN UNDERSTAND ARMY'S FELLING's AND HOW MUCH WE LOVE BTS literally no one will understand unless you're ARMY 💜🥰
so very true!
once they start understanding, that's when they become ARMY.
This is so true 💜

If you believe in the universe, BTS is like the light to this dark and distorted world. As ARMY, BTS found and saved me when I was close to committing suicide in 2017 when I was going through my darkest days of my life. Run found me, then Lost spoke to me. And fast forward, here I am still. I cannot imagine not being able to walk the rest of my life without them. I hope BTS brings you joy and comfort too 😊💜
I loved this. I’m 67 and my husband and I saw them in LA. Every ARMY we met, it felt like we knew them. We felt related. We were handed lots of gifts too, which has never happened before with another band. BTS loves ARMY. They say it all the time. Without ARMY, there’d be no BTS. RM said that. So true. They create a circle of love and everyone wants to be in that circle. This world would be a lot more lonely and dreary without them. They saved me during the pandemic. And I think we helped save them too.. I’ve many several great friends through BTS and, you know, it’s like they get you right away. And it’s all about all the positive things, love, light, hope, friendship, caring. Who doesn’t need that in this crazy world? Glad you guys went,
💜💜 Borahae!
Ive never felt more comfortable to be me than when I am at a BTS concert. I dont feel judged, or looked at strangely, it feels like home. It takes me about a month to prepare to see BTS in concert, because I am really into giving away freebies and trades and I work on it almost every day from the moment I get the tickets to a few days before I leave for the concert, and in my day to day life i am incredibly shy and never approach people and spend most my time trying to make myself as invisible and forgettable as i can. But at a BTS concert I feel safe and can walk up to people id never go near to give them freebies and its so enjoyable for me. Ive been lucky enough to see BTS 3 times and honestly each time is better than the one before it. They are my safe place, a place of comfort where I am not judged a place where I feel loved. Before BTS i was struggling to live each day and since i found them I have not gone a single day without watching some sort of content or interacting with BTS or ARMY. Since I came back from Vegas Ive just been on a high of happiness that honestly i hope lasts for a long time.
That's great they are part of your safe space! And it is awesome you do the freebies and the trades. It makes the community so special.
You don't need permission to dance! Thanks for watching!
I'm a fan for years but never come to their concert but I'm happy for you 😭
Your comment is so sweet and touching. I hope you are able to see BTS many more times in your life. 💜
This was my first BTS concert due to the pandemic and my favorite part besides the actual concert was interacting with other ARMY. I was especially touched by the ARMY like you, who made the gifts to hand out. Know that your freebies make so many people happy.
💜💜💜 You are so loved Army 💜💜💜
ADDITIONAL INFO: The BTS logo is a pair of doors opening, and the ARMY is how the doors would look from the other side. These logos were released in 2017 in the rebranding, together with the additional meaning of BTS (Beyond the Scene).
@@breeroe So 1 set of doors is the front & the other, the back of the vest?
@@moneeshanarula-isaac7686 like my avi, the front & sides to the vest
It took me a while to get over the rebranding of the logo because I've been ARMY since 2014, but I took a big sigh and looked forward to their continued growth. Now patiently and excitedly waiting for presale to PROOF to start! 😭💜

G DRAGON KING ,
What Taylor said about understanding one another inside that stadium or even just as a community is so true. We all understand each other and our love for the boys its such a cool community to be a part of :')

It gives us so much in common to know that another person saw, identified with, related to & came to so love everything BTS is about & who they are; (with their hard working ethic, their encouragement to go for a dream you have, the determination, positivity, kindnness, respectful and humble attitudes, their humorous quirks & loving outlooks, their personalities & the so relatable inner dynamics within the team of 7 {that are so beautiful to witness} how much they love & accept eachother, cheer for each other & have a true bond, despite all their differences that could've kept them from being BTS [if they had let it} & instead they practiced accepting & appreciation of the others differences which enriched all 7 members so much)... this tells me about all I need to know, to know that a person is MY KIND of people. It is what binds us all together in understanding and love.
Taylor said something that explains what I feel. I'm a 56 years old mexican ARMY. Nobody around me understands why I love them so much. When I say that I want to meet them and go to a concert and that I will support them whatever they want to do everyone look at me as if I'm crazy. I have a group of ARMY on WhatsApp and they are the only people that understand me and don't judge me. BTS helped me in one of my darkest moments. The only reason I get up of my bed was them. A new song, a show appearance, In the Soop, voting, streaming, etc. They gave me a purpose. They gave me a reason. And they continue to do so. When someone show a sign at the concert: BTS saved me, many of us felt so related.
It's great that you have your ARMY on WhatsApp. Borahae!
Aquí tienes a una hermana ARMY mexicana de 30 años 💜
Thanks Taylor, Jeff and team for an amazing video!
Yes and I love how they've said to ARMYS how much they appreciate the love and they are thoughtful enough to also say to us: in 'Magic Shop"; You gave me the best of me, Now you give YOU the best of you" , showing us that it matters to them that their fans also love themselves, just as much and respect themselves too and reach for whatever we may dream of doing or being; that they remind us to keep ourselves as our priority in our lives was so admirable and loving of them.
I had to pause the video when Jeff said this:
Jeff’s key takeaways [from the concert]: Give ppl something to believe in. Give ppl something to be a part of & make their lives better. That’s what BTS does.
Wooo!! That right there is a great explanation of what BTS means to ARMY. It goes just beyond the great music I can vibe/bop to on a drive. Or a song that makes me dance. There’s this special connection, at least what I get, from being ARMY. And Namjoon touches on it a lot in his ments. This communion that has been built between BTS & ARMY. This bond that continues to thrive & grow bc of the synergy we share & get from each other. Namjoon said one time, they are BTS (pointing to BTS) & you guys are ARMY (pointing to the crowd). At the same time you guys are BTS (pointing to the crowd) & we’re your ARMY (pointing to himself & BTS). We are each other’s cheerleaders. Each other’s comfort. Each other’s encouragement. Each other’s inspiration. It really is a special community. I am so happy you got to see a part of it. EVERYONE…BORAHAE!!💜 22.06.10 is coming😎
Who's doing the pausing now? Hahaha! Just kidding! Thank you so much for watching. And thank you for making this community great. 💜💜 Borahae!
Only ARMY can understand the feelings you get from being a fan. Namjoon puts those feelings into words beautifully...everytime!
Been a fan of many musicians, but BTS is the ONLY one that I'm 100% certain they LOVE their fans. Also certain they've inspired MANY to be better people. Who else can you say that about? It's not a marketing ploy, not a throw away line, they MEAN it! It's a back and forth exchange of love.
👏
En verdad son los únicos que demuestran ese amor único a sus Fans 😭😭😭❣❣💜💜
I agree with all my heart. They are unmatched in many ways, but especially their relationship with ARMY. They love us without question and definitely improved many lives. I frequently, see people posting about how they changed things for them. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
G DRAGON KING ,
so true ❤
Jeff, I appreciate how open minded you’ve been while learning about BTS and you’ve noticed it’s so much more than just a boy band. After my first BTS concert in 2019 I was blown away on how welcoming and nice my fellow Army were and glad you had the same experience. I was there that night as well in Vegas and I loved watching this footage and reliving that night. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for watching and being a part of my journey.

Just in case you didn't already know, the music videos that are played before the concert actually starts, they're shown in order of release, starting from the earliest to the latest hence why as the concert starting time nears, the anticipation grows as the music videos get more and more up to date. Permission To Dance, being the latest, therefore signals the start of the concert which is why the excitement is so high when it starts playing. The music videos are basically like a countdown to the start of the show! 💜
Oh that's interesting. I didn't know this, thanks for sharing :)
Ooooooooh
That is interesting. I love the attention to detail.
“Do what makes you come alive”. Loved that! Jeff’s comment: “and they started on time”. I am over 40 and I can’t tell you how pleasantly surprised I was when I went to my first BTS concert and it stated on time!! It tells you/shows you that BTS respects ARMY and ARMY’s time. That small gesture, of being on time, made me respect them more as people.
I went alone too on the last 2 days of their concert in Vegas and I'm from UK, I felt like a completely different person after the concert, I felt so happy and even until now, I feel young and I'm turning 50 soon. I feel so happy like surrounded with purple hearts(ARMY), I met an army from Miami and we got along really well. During the concert fellow ARMY are same as my age and they came alone too, we're like teenagers having fun, lol.. such a wonderful experience. Jeff I can actually see in your face how happy and excited you were. I hope I can meet you guys too.. more power to your channel and keep spreading the light, and we will all light up together...Borahae Army family....
What Taylor said about Army understanding each other is so accurate and true. So happy for both of you seeing BTS Live. BTS is like no other. They are so humble, hardworking, encouraging, loving, unselfish, tolerant, forgiving, honest, respectful and sweet and how they behave towards people makes Army want to behave like them. The world would be less divided. I think BTS makes us feel loved and part of a family. I know that when I know someone is Army, I know I can trust them even if they are strangers.
Thank you! 💜💜 Borahae!
Very well said!💜💜💜
I think what draws people to BTS, what makes us all love them so much, is the same as what you said about if you do something that lights you up and come alive, it will affect others the same way too. But it's not a one-way street either. As much light as BTS gives to ARMY, ARMY tries to give that back.
There's a very uniquely symbiotic relationship between BTS and ARMY that you don't really see with other artists, or at least not to the same degree. A big part of it, I think, has to do with the strong parasocial relationship that BTS built with their fans when they were just getting started - when they were posting vlogs and Bangtan Bombs of behind the scenes footage and dance practice videos because they weren't big enough, and their company didn't have enough clout, to always get on music shows or even really get attention from the media. Because they effectively had to do all of their own promotion, it allowed fans to know and relate to them as people rather than idols, and they were in the unique position to also recognize their fans as individuals rather than an amorphous group of "fans". To ARMY, BTS will never be "just" celebrities to worship and adore, and to BTS, ARMY are not just fans, we're their reason that they do what they do, walking beside them the whole way.
This is a great insight. Thank you for sharing this. I would like to follow their example more too. 💜💜💜
Aw you worded the relationship between army and bts so perectly! It is such a special and unique bond. We love, respect and protect each other in the most genuine way possible.
“Feel like I am in the future”. Never truer a statement.
Haha! I feel so lucky sometimes!
I had the biggest smile on my face throughout the entire video. Thank you Taylor for making such a beautiful video and thank you Jeff for talking so beautifully about BTS and ARMY. “Give people something to believe in. Give people something to be a part of and make their lives better. That’s what BTS does.” This genuinely brought tears to my eyes as you are so very right. And like Taylor said, I may not know anything about another ARMY and they may not know anything about me but we understand each other. I am so so happy you got to experience a BTS show. Being around BTS and ARMYs is truly a paradise itself. Looking forward to the documentary as well as your future videos!💜
I also want to say, this video made me even more proud to be a part of this community. I have been a fan since 2016 and it has truly been so beautiful to see the evolution of both BTS and ARMY. I’m tearing up just writing this so I should stop haha🥹
No need to stop! Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts!
I feel the same.
G DRAGON KING ,
Just on “why do people love them so much?”. Those feelings of love for Bangtan: that then resonates and extends out to feelings of connection with other ARMYs. Your friend at the concert explained perfectly: only ARMYs understand other ARMYs.
The sense of community and camaraderie you talk about with ARMY is BECAUSE we love them so much, not part of WHY we love them.
I’m not sure WHY can be properly explained, rather I think it’s something that can only be experienced.
This was a great video, and I appreciate your work and your lack of prejudice. Thanks for takin us on this ride with you.
One of the best things about being ARMY is that you get to be a part of something bigger than yourself. BTS did that for us.
I'm so glad you got to experience both BTS and ARMY!! 💜
Taylor said it all at 28 minutes! Nobody at home understands that it is so much more than a fan girl thing!! (62 yr old ARMY here!!) Thank you Taylor for saying that out loud. We have each other. We get it. And then: "Give people something to believe in. Give people something to be a part of. And make their lives better. That's what BTS does" also perfectly said Jeff. And they know, they feel, and they willingly take on the responsibility of that. It is their mission statement of sorts - to make meaningful music that changes lives. the Big Hit logo: Music and artist for healing.
Well, I can see from the comments that I'm not alone in shedding tears while watching your video. Thank you so much Jeff, Taylor and your team for creating such a thoughtful video about your experience at PTD LV. Everything you said rings true to me. When I first discovered BTS, I was sucked in because of their amazing performances, skills, and talent, but their authenticity, kindness and heartfelt message make them more than just entertainers to me and millions of others. They and their ARMY are inspiring role models who give me faith in a better world.
Well said! Thank you for watching!
very well said!

Tears. As a fan who’s been a fan for 4 years it truly makes my happy seeing other people dive into the world if Bts. I’m glad you guys had fun! Btw, world tour is always 100x better. Get ready!!
Whoa... better than this? That will be amazing.
@@OrigReacts yes definitely 😭
@@OrigReacts PTD is not even half of what they do on world tour. We get everything from full blown set designs to solos.
@@OrigReacts I agree... PTD was so good but in my opinion, Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour was AMAZING and Map of the Soul Tour (the one that COVID stole from us) would have blown anyone's minds off, I'm sure! We had a chance to experience the show through our screens when they held the MOTS: ONE online concert...nothing compares to the feeling you get when watching them perform live. I can't wait for the next album and tour!
"Give People something to believe in, give People to be a part of it and them make their lifes better!" so inspiring words!)
When Taylor was explaining how BTS understands her and actually not explaining exactly "how" but i understand what she's trying to say ,, it the kind of understanding that no words can explain ,, but you know they understand ((i don't know if i am making sense here 😅))
“Go do the thing that lights you up- because that will light up the people and the world around you”- now that is a key take away. Well said, and what a great way to sum up what BTS does. 😊👍🏻💜
Jeff, I love how you couldn't stop smiling the entire time you talked about your experience in Vegas. 💜 Thank you SO MUCH for giving us a peek of the purple ocean from outside the stadium-- I loved the virtual purple balloons that drifted over ARMY during PTD!
I think all of the things you said about why ARMY is so dedicated to BTS are true-- it's more than the music and dancing, although their talent and the music and its message and their incredibly eclectic catalog are definitely major factors.
For me it's also their honesty, and hopefulness, and their sense of inclusion.
Honesty in that they say (and live) what they believe. They live authentically-- what you see is who they are. They're open in acknowledging their feelings and problems, and when they have a problem with something, they say so. They live the way they want to, not necessarily the way the world wants them to, but not in a "ha-ha, I'm rich, I can do what I want" kind of way, more of a "this is who we are, and ARMY purples us no matter what, so haters can take a hike" kind of way, which is incredibly inspiring. They show us how to be brave and live authentically, too.
Hopefulness in that, despite all the bad stuff that exists, they constantly remind us that there's light after the darkness. You'll hear a lot of ARMY talk about "when BTS found them." Because it really does feel like fate (which JK talks about sometimes-- there's a Korean word for it that I'm not remembering rn)-- it feels like, inevitably, you discover BTS at a time in your life when you really need that positivity or sense of support and community. For me, it was in the middle of the pandemic. That moment that Jin told me to close my eyes for a moment and hold his hand to run away to the future was the one that really hooked my heart and turned me from fan to ARMY. The world sucked, but even from halfway around the world BTS was with us in the middle of it all, and we could imagine that better future together.
And inclusion... there's the family of ARMY, but there's also the relationship between BTS and ARMY. EVERY interview I've seen of them, they acknowledge ARMY. We're not just groupies that tell them how great they are and can be farmed for dollars. They share their lives with us, and although they don't know us individually I get the sense that they do genuinely care about our well-being. We're in it together; there's a mutuality to their relationship with ARMY that I've never seen from any other artist.
Thank you so much for doing this, Orig team! I can't wait to see the documentary! 💜
i cried reading this, what the hell!😭😭
Exactly, they acknowledge ARMY at every interview and every time they receive an award. I really do believe that ARMY are who make them smile every day, like JK said.
Your comment had me teary eyed. So on point for my story too.
6:10 Omg the customized purple army bomb looked soo pretty, how talented 😳😿
For me, as a 53-y.o. wife & mom of 3 kids at home...I think what made me ARMY and get behind BTS so hard is the guys in BTS themselves. Unlike so many other artists and groups, they are all just so positive and joyful. Even when they're being honest about difficulties they've faced or are currently going through, they insist on seeing it through an optimistic lens: "This hard time will not last forever", "This will make me/the group stronger"... I'm at a time in my life where I do not want to waste or spend time on negativity....my Catholic faith is about JOY, and through grace becoming the best version of my true self as God created me to be - and BTS is about the same thing, even though it's not through a religious perspective. But because the perspective is the same, it's something I want in my life. I want that which encourages and brings joy. God, my family, BTS - they all want joy for me and bring me joy as well! So that's why I love BTS right back.
This is great!
@@OrigReacts Thank you for reading/appreciating/understanding my comment, even though since it's midnight where I am and the late hour caused me to make an error - I meant to say at the end that..."'even though the perspective is different, the goal is the same and' it's something I want in my life".... Ugh, I homeschool my kids and I make these kinds of writing errors??? LOL
As a person who lives in world navigating trying my best to be faithful to God, I also feel that BTS brings a Joy that is compatible with how I want to live. Thank you for sharing your story.
It's been so nice watching your reactions with Taylor to guide you and answer your questions. She really knows her stuff.
I've felt that their English songs are like summer bops. Yet, they're still meaningful because they're light and positive and that was intentional because of how heavy the pandemic has been. For me, PTD especially felt like they were telling us that despite the pain and fear and isolation caused by the pandemic, we still had the right to be happy and have fun.
One thing about ARMY I have noticed, is that as a fandom, they seem to feel a responsibility to not make BTS look bad and instead to be positive and even proactive.
Cool. I love that interpretation.
This was moving -- I am an older Army and I love them - I don't have many to share with about how they have affected my life, but they have.. and your video was validating of that. Thank you!
💜💜💜
Thank goodness for RUclips where we can experience the global love for BTS and see ARMY growing exponentially every day! How many other groups have such a broad appeal? Diversity is ARMY's strength!
@@t.anderson6069 It truly is...I think your work is great and really enjoy and learn from the reaction videos.
@@t.anderson6069 It certainly is - I cannot believe the wide range of ages at the concerts. I had tickets for a performance in Chicago with great seats for June of 2020 - the pandemic hit and they canceled their tour. I hope I have another opportunity to see them - think the concert would be quite an experience. Anyway thanks for message - I actually got you mixed up with Jeff in my first response, my apologies.💜☮
Taylor’s part about how army understands & how we’re not “crazy fan girls” really resonated with me. Loved the video!

Army in general has the attitude of their idol, BTS. Kind, care for others, polite, be positive towards another, and all. Even Army don't know each other but Army is a big family, tx to BTS👍 i think BTS n Army in a way, without realizing, change the atmosphere of negativities, at least spread positiveness surround..💜💜💜 bcz that's what BTS try to do all of this time , to spread positivities, kindness n love. Eventho' there are still ppl w/o reasons hate BTS n Army. WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR HATERS CUZ WE ARE BUSSY LOVING EACH OTHERS 💖💜💖💜💪💪👍👍

That was very cute and heart warming to watch. It’s so good to see more people getting to know and understand what BTS means. They are not just a boy band with good looking guys and catchy songs, they bring hope, joy, love, everything to us 💜
Thank you for watching! I agree that they do bring hope, joy, love, and community!
Army is literally family. I have made good friendships just based on the fact that we're Army. Everything else comes after 💜
Jeff (and Taylor, too!) just wanted to assure you that, yes, what youre doing touches us in a major waay! Your genuine appreciation and love for BTS, just the most wholesome, genuine and positive content every time! Glad to be journeying with you!
Taylor thank you for introducing Jeff the amazing artist BTS are. and Jeff, yes that’s what BTS exist, to keep us feel “alive” and feel the belongingness. We as a human needed that assurance that we be a part of this world, and BTS just helps us feel it through their music and message.
You're just getting into this whole thing and it's a lot, but it's amazing how you hit the nail on the head. Your theory is right for why we love them. I can't speak for others, but for me it went from a "distraction" of the reality of life, to a whole lifesaving and life-changing movement. Their sincerity, vulnerability, genuine love and gratitude is really unmatched and contagious (as you saw)! Glad y'all enjoyed yourselves and love hearing your insights as not many "reactors" provide such in depth commentary. Borahae!

Listening to both you (Taylor) and Jeff brought tears to my eyes. Thank you both for sharing this experience. Even though I wasn't there in person (watched the last show virtually), I could feel all the emotions from both BTS and Army. I love this community.
Awww! Thank you! Feeling the emotions transcends space and time. It can be live, in person, it can be virtual, or it can be from a recording from years ago. It is pretty amazing what BTS has created. 💜
For me BTS really respects ARMY and it's shown even in the most basic things like starting concerts ON TIME. Putting 200% into their performance. Engaging not only with ARMY but also behind the scene ppl.
He will be even more blown away if he watches the Seoul Love Yourself Encore concert! I went to PTD D4 and after watching the Love Yourself Concert I realized how much bigger there concerts can be! I can’t wait until the comeback and the next world tour!
They are something more than just a band. Is difficult for people to undertsand, me myself had a lot of prejudices before but they really are "a before and after in your life. I'm 41 and I adore them.
I'm a fan because of their talent, and I'm Army because of the community that it goes around them. I can't wait to see your docummentary 💜💜💜
This is well said. 💜💜💜
I know that there are people, ARMYs, that for whatever reason might not be able to attend a BTS consert, i get that and it doesnt make them any "less ARMY" but theres something that definetly clicked with me after their LY,SY consert that i attended in London, and it ties in with what Jeff said. After been in one of their conserts, feelin the energy that ARMY gives off, pure happy positive vibe, thats when you can Really understand why there are do many people being so passionate and proud about being an ARMY. Maybe you can get some of that through comments/videos, but after seeing/feeling it youreself, theres just no question. It makes you wanna be part of that too and to be active within the fandom. Thank you for sharing youre experience, it looks like you got more out if it than what you expected before hand!🙏💜❤
Your comments at the end were so beautiful. We are definitely a family that loves and supports each other 💜💜
Thank you! I appreciate it! Borahae! 💜💜💜
Thank you for your sincerity and genuine analysis of BTS and Army. As a 74 year old I feel so fortunate to be able to have found BTS at a time when I was losing the desire to be part of this world. To know there are such amazing caring and selfless people out there has been very uplifting. I never apologize for loving BTS. They are a wonderful and inspirational gift to the world.
I loved this, and I am so envious! Wish I could've been there. I don't think anybody will ever understand what it is to be ARMY. It's a unity, it's a respect, it's love not only of the music but of the boys and what they stand for. What they fight for with their music. We all come from different cities, states, countries all around the world and BTS unites us in this beautiful warmth and comfort. Even without knowing them personally, they make you feel like you do. Like they are there and care. They comfort us through, their music, through their words, through their dance, speeches, videos, shows. It's like they know what we need and when we need it. It's like they know when we are down and needing a hug or just some words of comfort. It literally takes 2 seconds to watch a video from BTS and change your mood from sad to happy. You go through your ups and downs with them and feel like they go through theirs with us. There is no other Fandom where you feel so connected so much to the artist. And their is no artist like BTS that takes the time to show us they care. I am BTS ARMY.💜 BORAHAE
This is awesome and very well said. Borahae! 💜💜💜
Taylor is so right , they are not an ordinary boyband there is something about them that touch your heart & up lifted you in some ways. I am a 67 years old who become fans after hearing their song “ life goes on”& going thru pandemic & the rest is history. Lucky enough to watch them perform in Vegas, something I will never forget. Hoping to see them perform again. One in my bucket list is to visit Korea to see where they start their humble beginning.
there is no other groups or kpop groups doin it like BTS..it's JUST BTS..love your videos 💜
In the Philippines, an ARMY pawned her precious Merch Collection to a fellow ARMY (a stranger) to support her child's medication and treatment. I agree...what an awesome community. Not to mention the whole bunch of ARMY projects/charity works and initiatives from community pantries at the height of pandemic to (beach/ocean) clean up drives, tree planting and reforestation and a whole lot more. You're absolutely right...they've (Bangtan) created something that someone can be a part of...the sense of belongingness to people who you can resonate with. It's just really awesome.
Omg I cant stop smiling watching this, love you Jeff and Taylor. So glad that you both had this opportunity and having so much fun there! Much love 💜
Jeff reaction to black swan brought me back to the fisrt time I saw that performance in LA. It was my first time in a BTS concert and it just brought tears to my eyes 💜🥺 It is so cool to see such a genuine and kind person getting to know BTS and ARMY. And Taylor's sentiment is soooooo relatable. It is just amazing how understood and welcomed one feels when seeing and meeting other ARMYS. I'm looking forward to the rest of your journey 💜💜 보라해 💜💜
I love love love what Taylor said at 28:13. I ate and drank at the bar by myself and was able to talk to someone next to me because of BTS. It’s just amazing to be able to talk to someone because we share the same love and respect for BTS. We just know deep within ourselves that it’s just not a crazy fan thing but something greater. Boravegas was epic and looking forward to the new era and your journey with BTS !
I love these boys 👦 and I am 72...they are very real and their talents and sincerity comes through with all they do and also they are a miracle sent from fate so the world 🌎 can get a piece ❤️ of what humans ❤️ should help to continue to help them keep love and good will in the whole world..I could go on and try to explain happiness that they spread but its hard to put it in words all the goodness that comes from their care in sharing their lives❤😅
Hey Jeff, it was great meeting you at the behind the scene. I’m glad you enjoyed the the concert and I’m glad that you found BTS. Borahae
The thing with BTS is that they heal your bits and pieces in a way that you don't feel judged. They make you so comfortable in your own skin by sharing their own struggle and journey with us which make us connected with them.. As a human, we don't show our vulnerable side or weak side to anyone..they showed us that we can trust them by sharing their own vulnerability and their own weakness with us.. showing us that we are all struggling and healing without being noticed.. For me, they found me when I was struggling the most in my life and they healed me just being themselves. 🥰🥰
DON'T THEY SOUND FANTASTIC LIVE!!!
"Damn!! Oh Damn!!DAMNN!"
ahaha i know that feeling. When they come to stage! Its the best thing ever. Im glad u guys enjoyed.
"Give people something to believe in. Give people something to be a part of and make their lives better.
That's what BTS does." - this I agree 100%. There is that feeling of attachment and love between BTS and ARMY that is hard to explain with words and that you can only understand it when you experience it yourself. I became an ARMY because of their songs and I just loved the boys even more the deeper I get to know them. I love them as singers, as artists and as a human. I respect them so much even if I am way older than them. Also, Army made me feel that I have somehow a support system, a group of people that understands me and not judge me. This is indeed beyond just fan girling just what Taylor mentioned. The love between BTS and ARMY is immeasurable. 💜 And by the way I love this reaction video. 👏
BTS concert is the only one I’ve been to where the fandom is very enthusiastic while being kind and polite to other people. It’s a whole another level of experience.
BTS is COMING BACK JUNE 10/ 2022 with a NEW ALBUM🚨, get ready because they are about to break the music industry , remember to tune in if you want to witness History!!!!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌
Oh no when you mentioned the magic shop tears sprung to my eyes.
It's amazing that we can witness the clear process of you becoming part of army, hahaha. Welcome!
Absolutely loved this reaction, I've never been to a BTS concert and this gave me quite the insight into it. It's a life experience I hope to get one day. Thank you!
armys are a special group of people, a special group of fans unique to the industry. there is no way around it. other fan groups will go out of their way to make us look bad when we react to their bad attitudes that come out of jealousy for bts but, armys in their normal state are a phenomenon of their own. the nicest group of people you will ever see and meet. the level of nice is off the charts. just ask people in the hospitality business in places we have been or fandoms we have collaborated with such as coldplay's. i guess you could call it a morality thing because we represent bts and their values and that makes us strive to be the best people we are, especially towards other kind individuals. it's a marvel.
BTS has totally shifted my life. I cant even begin to describe the ways. One way though is my job. Im a therapist and BTS has literally been a pathway towards connecting to clients that are also fans (Im based in a high school). Ive used their message, and music, and them as people to springboard self-love and self-esteem exercises off of for my clients. I hope BTS recognizes their reach.
This just really touched my heart so much! I think you really hit the nail on the head when you said, “Give people something to believe in. Give people something to be a part of and make their lives better.” it’s exactly why they inspire the community that is ARMY and what makes us so close and connected as people who maybe don’t know each other personally but know what it means to be ARMY. 🥹💜
Thank you for this!
the part where taylor talks about how bts understands her made me cry
PTD LA was the best time ever - exactly what Taylor said, everyone in that stadium knew something about me and understood a huge part of my life … people do laugh and judge but following BTS has brought my teen daughters and I so close and I will always be so grateful for that - army4life !!
BTS definitely connect us in so many different ways. They even had an global art project called CONNECT just few years back, connecting us through art. 😭💜
This feels like a complement to my own (my first as a Baby ARMY) experience of the online concert of April 16th! Thank you Jeff and Taylor, that was AMAZING! 💜🎇
BTS is the whole package...the unique package in the industry
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS VIDEO IS BEAUTIFUL, THANK YOU JEFF THANK YOU TAYLOR
I love your take about ‘giving something people can believe in to’ because in every BTS lyrics have their story. The story we believe so genuine because there are some stories they keep reminiscing and talking and also their inside jokes. So when BTS said ‘Love Yourself’, its not just a concept or slogan, its their life experience. They went through it, and they are still struggling on that, because you know human had their high and low. Thats when you see that BTS, the millionaire, singer, superstars…are human like us in very substance level. They are so open, they feel angry, sad, dissapointment, happy, giddy, goofy, lazy… Then we see how they treat each other, how they support each other, it just make you feel the love and respect, make you want to be the best human version for yourself so you too can give that respect and love from people you are close with.
This was a really beautiful documentary. Thank you guys for making this.
100% agree that them starting on time was a big testament to who BTS is! I noticed that too, like 7:30 PM on the dot we already had a show going! They're just amazing in every way!
He's so spot on. The guys for me are the start of something for all of us. The thread that ties us. Every thing they stand for and do and say it is an inspiration. I am taking an online cooking course by BTS ARMY Kitchen. It's free and they share and teach. I am waiting to enter Bangtan Academy to help learning Korean. It's free but spots fill up so quickly. Online there are countless ARMY/BTS contacts. They fill you up with love and it makes you want to spread it too. I found BTS and this community when I felt really alone and scared and even tho I haven't left home I don't feel that way anymore. Nothing has changed I mean my life is still going on but I feel encouraged and strengthened to participate in it and change myself and my attitude. That what BTS and ARMY... What becoming ARMY has done for me. You are right and Taylor is right. We don't know one another per se but I know if you're an ARMY we are connected and understand one another in some way.
it's heartwarning and beautiful to see people who don't know much about BTS enjoy their perfomances and message
My god this made me cry and i can't stop now 😭 the way you perfectly captured what it means to be a part of this beautiful family. Taylor's word about armys understanding each other and understanding that it's not just a boy band or being a crazy fan it's way more than that. Thank you for sharing your experience in such a beautiful way and honestly I am glad you got to go. I live in India so I don't know if I'll ever get the chance to see them but everytime I see someone attend a concert it just makes me so happy 💜
I really appreciate how genuine Jeff is in his reactions -- he's not afraid to say what he likes or doesn't like and he's not afraid to change his mind. Not only that, but I love how he brings his background in film (and theater?) to the discussion and recognizes the incredible amount of hard work that goes on behind/under the stage and in the stadium. The honesty of Jeff's reactions, honesty about the experience, and his analysis of how things get put together is so interesting. The level of effort and thought he puts what he says is truly admirable. He may say he's not comfortable in front of the camera, but I think that makes him come across as even more authentic.
That was a great idea to get merch during the concert the night before yours!
That was genius 👏 🙌
Yes! I'll have to borrow the idea during my experience some day. 😊
I’m literally crying right now… Jeff said it how it is, I got drawn in by their music, and I stayed for them and for army! I’ve never felt this way about anything so strongly before. I love being part of a community, and Taylor also made me smile, cause it’s so true only army will understand each other. thank you guys so much!!
I’ve only been a fan for 10 months now and I’m literally never going back ❤️❤️❤️
It’s amazing how BTS inspires so many people. This is a great vlog.
I certainly agree that being a part of the community of ARMY draws and keeps many people. For me, I enjoyed this feeling during the concert. But what drew me into BTS and keeps me, is that I feel I can trust them to give my heart and time and admiration. They give so much, that I want to return it. Not out of obligation, but out of gratitude. It is similar to how you feel about a person that changed your life, such as a teacher, a trust friend, or a complete stranger with a thoughtful act at just the right time. You never forget that person. I feel such gratitude for the boys and their team. And I think it comes back to a saying I love: what comes from the heart goes to the heart. Art that inspires, I think, is a sharing of heart. The artists willingly shares a part of themself by sharing their art. And BTS do it with such love, humility, goodwill that the effect is multiplied. Or perhaps it is better to say, it is communicated clearly to the heart, if you are listening.
yeah I know what taylor means, I understand taylor, there's a bond between armys and it's the love for bts that didn't come from nothing. They inspired each one of us and changed us and that makes us understand each other
I believe that only real artists can change our troubled World to the better, through their aesthetics, message of love, and understanding. This is what BTS's mission is, to unite people, spread love and happiness. The world will never be saved by politicians. They want devide people and have control on them for their own purpose. For a long time I have not seen such a powerful movement by artists than BTS. Maybe only Michael Jackson had similar effect on people and society.
I am an Army since 2018 and I am almost 60 years old and last year I could go to my first BTS concert in LA. I felt SO alive being there! I felt the same intense happiness when I was in my twenties and I was full of hope regarding my life and my future. BTS gave back to me this feeling of hope in life. I am also very happy for the younger generation, that they have BTS. I was feeling their incredible joy while screaming and singing together with them. Army is growing, this movement is growing and I hope that it will reach more millions of people.
Thanks for doing the documentary and this video. Best wishes!
you are right about the community you feel that someone in the world understand you and that it´s okay not to be perfect. in this community we are all accepted and part of the hole experience. we follow BTS core value of kindness and acceptance and that's so beautiful
Look at that smile on Jeff's face ☺
That's the BTS effect! 💜
I am glad you are enjoying the journey.
Virtual hugs to Taylor, Jeff and the whole team
Have been waiting for this. Glad you got to experience it. I believe you are figuring out ARMY. It's the community and the message that they spread. BTS has taxed us to send out positivity to the world, each other and ourselves and ARMY is excelling at it. As an old hippie that was really cemented it for me. Found them when I was watching the world fall apart again and feeling like things would never change. When humanity moves forward spiritually the status quo pushes back hard. This gave me hope that this generation will rise and be amazing. 💜
Wow, you can feel the EFFORT you have put in to understanding the "universe" of BTS and ARMY. To me it seems like you actually get it. And of course a large part of that comes from you Taylor. Wow, your words really touched me. Because that's to me exactly how it feels/my experience too. The effort, curiosity and sincerity put into this beautiful documentary ... It makes me wish that journalists would watch this before ever commentating on BTS. And I think that most of what one needs to know and understand about BTS is actually answered by "Why does ARMY love BTS so much" - so you're spot on!
Thank you for sharing Jeff, you made me so happy sharing your experience that I'm in tears. I came to know BTS in 2019, then covid came.... BTS became my happiness in stressful times. I don't know when they will one to Australia, but your inside into the concert experience made me so happy. Looking forward to seeing your documentary. Thankyou 💜🤗💜
There is truly no words or rhymes that could explain a BTS concert or the magic they create. They've connected millions through their simply being and sharing their words of wisdom and positivity. I hope and wish that everyone who wants to see them, get to experience that magic in their life time. It really is a special place and feeling. I know I will never forget that feeling. BTS has truly saved my life and continue to bring me that magic.
This is awesome.
30:57 resonated to me so much. Thank you for putting into words these feelings i have since being a BTS fan for years now
Tears. I also tried to tell my husband (someone already in 40’) why I am so into BTS, seems he barely understand it’s sth like fan girl, some handsome boy band, some connections of emotions to the songs.
But Taylor just told the difference. Army will understand it’s the connection between hearts, The meanings brought to life, The tears from eyes, the comfort in the thunderstorm days. 🥲
This was the cutest and most wholesome reaction It literally made me so happy how nicely you spoke about bts and army and thank you to Taylor she is the best and I loved what she said armys understand eachother like no other💜💜💜
Thank you!
BTS has a way of finding you when you need them the most. I was in a very dark place a little over 2 years ago and a co-worker ask if I ever heard of them i said i have before but never really listened to them. This was the start of the ON era and i looked them up on RUclips and watched the ON music video and that was the beginning of something beautiful .
I'm smiling, I'm crying watching this video. I'm proud of my boys BTS. Thank you jeff, thank you taylor.
Taylor couldn’t have represented army any better. What she said was right through and through💜
