Cool. I appreciate the casual vlog style with bits of techniques you used.

Nothing like watching a successful photographer at work showing us their craft. And love the glimpses into post-industrial Akron.

Thanks! Worked hard to get here but still have to pinch myself sometimes that I’m doing what I love in a place I love.

Awesome! There will be cross-over between the two subjects as they are pretty much my life!

I'm guessing you have a small fortune in camera equipment. Have you ever had a 9-5 job or just been able to do freelance work?
I've been an electrician for over 30 years and have worked for one contractor for over 10 years but other years I've worked for 12 different contractors.

Yeah / tons of money tied up in equipment. I worked 9-5 type jobs most of my life but never in photography. I was a car wash manager, a farm hand, a warehouse worker - all trying to save money to get here. Finally set out on my own one day. Worked hard to get here for sure - was doing 7 days a week and 15 hour days on the farm. When I first went full time photography I would run a dry cleaning delivery route super early every morning to get a consistent paycheck but still be free to shoot when clients needed me.
