The Soler v. Ozuna angle will get very interesting this winter, especially since the Braves went up a CBT threshold with the trade last night. If they don't this deadline, they'll want to get money off the books, and they won't be able to play both anyway
The giants trade was definitely a win for both sides, and the Giants are still going for it. Soler had not been producing for the majority of the year and it's fair to assume that Luciano could put up almost comparable stats for a fraction of the price. The overlooked part of the deal is Jackson for Matzek- Jackson has been very ineffective this year, and the Giants just swapped him for a more effective and lefty arm. Good move imo
