Let be real, if you have a gold Devo and tons of ammo, we’d all probably keep that weapon. I’d say unless we find an S tier weapon like a wingman or prowler or Kraber we’d all keep that gold devo. So that’s why it’s B. Not because that situation happens often, but because these weapons are situational and CAN be late game choices depending on the situation being right for them to succeed. Most other weapons in A will always be your choice unless that perfect Devo moment shows up. The weapons you’re really choosing from in the META are A/S. Anything in B has value but situational. CDE are early game weapons or weapons that have better counterparts in S/A/B and either way should be dropped and swapped if possible by end game.
i haven't used the re-45 in forever, but i remember you could use both on it. Not at the same time obviously, but you could put disruptor or hammer points on the re-45. I haven't used it this season though, so it might only be hammer this season.

This tier list is painful to watch. It’s so blatantly clear he hasn’t actually played in several seasons and all his knowledge is based on casting pro games. Not knowing the RE takes hammer points and not noticing he didn’t pick up a hop up is rough. Bow in B tier is crazy.
Bocek is B, because it’s situationally great, and not overall better as a choice than A or S. A or S are near “must” pick ups and better than whatever else your using overall and in trades. A bocek, like a devo (also in B), are KING in their respective situations that they shine - but no nearly an all around choice and, in the Bocek’s case, largely weak in up close fights against the A/S tier weapons it’ll face such as car/r99/volt/wingman in final zone fights. A bocek is a great secondary when teams are rotating and you’re fighting from range, and if that happens you can get a lot of pressure and Knocks that’ll help you. Also, I TRIED to pick up the hop up, but it didn’t grab and my point was already made. This video is an hour long and the RE-45 is an early game drop weapon. It wasn’t going get much time, and whether it has a skullpiercer or a red Nessie flying out of it - it’s not above C tier for MY list. The criteria for E, D and C are different than B and different than A and S. The reason (which I explain, not sure you’ve watched those areas fully) is that you can obviously kill with any weapon. Player skill makes a major difference so this list focuses on if you should drop a weapon at all (S/A don’t need to be dropped and are final weapons for mid/late) or its value early game. The B tier has situational value that in essence, can make those weapons an end game weapon if the situations align for it to succeed aka bocek bow. But, in normal end zones and over the average or 100 games, the A/S weapons will be safer, more consistent, and more effective in MORE situations. I actually have streamed and played pretty regularly in January, including watching scrims and casting pro league, so I’d say the only thing that seems to be throwing people off is that they aren’t listening to how these tiers are constructed. There’s no meaningful difference in most weapons if you just rank what is better or worse, which makes a boring tier list. All of the people I see claiming RE-45! L-Star! Why no devotion? If you’re in a situation where someone shoots you first with a flatline and is a good player, you’ll be dead. It doesn’t matter what weapon you have, and vice versa. These lists give players info and a realistic overview of the game. “All these weapons BANG so put em all in A” isn’t a strategy that makes this video interesting or helpful imo, so that’s why I distinguish the tiers in a more concrete way.

Listen, I like your thoughts here! But you’ve got to stop saying “he doesn’t play” or “this list is backwards” because of the re-45. It’s not a weapon you’ll ever see in high tier lobbies or pro play and so it shouldn’t be a major part of your consideration for a tier list. If you think the re-45 is b with hammers, why not just play a car or r-99? Most players do this, and so while an re-45 vs p2020 early game with hammers are mostly play style choice differences (I’m on MnK and I like p20 hammers and not re hammers) is a decent convo, it’s irrelevant when it comes to 95% of the game outside of your early drop. You should be switching that weapon out immediately when you come across a/s tier weapons and if not, that’s fine! But if you’re getting to late game and playing a lot with the re-45, there’s a lot of ways you can improve your weapon choices to be more effective across the board.

Any weapon that requires a hop-up to be good, shouldn't go to above C. The only exception would be the havoc, since you can still use it decently without the turbo, but with a turbo havoc is easily an A or high B. Anyways, we all have opinions and honestly i'd take raynday's opinion over yours any day. lol Just like you said the charge rifle is F, it just shows how close minded you are. It’s not played at a pro level, and while it’s good it isn’t higher than the weapons in this list for what I’ve already stated. If YOU dominate with it, then that’s a positive for you! But the weapon is always based on average use cases and not someone who specializes in it (or possibly just plays console/ranked) without exposure to higher pro play. There’s no BAD weapon as a result of the fact that every weapon needs to be able to kill and is always based on the skill of the player! So this list helps give people a bigger overall perspective of value. An lstar can definitely bang in the right hands though!

Hardly anyone uses a triple take and devo is B tier higher despite no one playing it, when many pros have said that the L-Star is so easy to recoil control once it came out of the care package. I see more people use the triple take than the L-Star and it has nothing to do with one weapon being better than the other. There's better uses on the triple take than L-Star. Most of the players weapons are a combination of long range and close range and they swap as soon as they find a better option. Someone might be using an L-Star because they haven't found a volt for example. I think his list is solid for competitive play. You might have your own opinions about weapons, but let's be real pros aren't using the L-Star because it's good, but because they haven't found a better option and it's just a place holder. I can agree with you when it comes to the devo though, but because i think you need a turbo to run it (but i suck with it anyways), but last time i check the devo had one of the fastest time to kill in the game.
Re-45 with hammer points is situationally brilliant if you play a fragger and have a teammate that does damage and cracks armour you can be very aggressive with re-45 with hammer points
RE-45 with hammerpoints has a higher DPS (provided you can sometimes hit a headshot or 2) than any of the SMGs (except the Prowler) and without them still higher than the Volt, and 1 less ammo per mag than the CAR and R-99. No way it's rated so much lower than any of them lol
Looking at the apex wiki, volt has 180 dps and re45 without hammerpoints is 156 while also having higher damage per mag. It's a pretty significant difference.
@@tfk2328 Wiki shows 182 for me for whatever reason, but you're right. The TTK is still within 0.1s in most scenarios, and with hammerpoints (in most situations) the RE kills faster than the Volt and is faster than the SMGs at killing someone with no shields. R-99 is still the king but the RE should at most be 1 tier below the R9, CAR, and Volt

Agreed on your r301 placement. Tnat close range part is what make me believe it isnt A tier. The hip fire is so bad and having to ADS upclose for more accurate shots can be a problem for tines where you have mutiple enemies fighting you in a very bad scenario. Not a bad weapon overall tho.
That would largely disqualify it as S tier which is a must pick up. Many weapons in S tier out trade it and if anything it could be an A, but I find it more situational than guaranteed value. Most fights in apex that decide your life take place up close, which is where it lacks compared to most A tier or S tier SMG’s and AR’s. So that’s my reasoning. From range, without pressure, and not being the first person into a fight - it’s probably A-S. But that’s situational, which is what my category of B is for.

The bocek has almost the same damage per shot as the sentinel but shoots faster, never needs to reload at all, and has extremely reliable hipfire. Putting the bow B tier is already cap, but not recognizing it is straight up superior to sentinel and putting them in the same tier makes the whole list questionable imo. This almost feels like an opinion piece on each weapon with no real relation to the list you end up with.
A charged sentinel does more damage than a Boceck bow, and we’ve seen it used in Pro Play more regularly. The Bocek and sentinel rarely feature, but recently the amount of burst it can produce has been a turning point in fights with a charged headshot. Your opinion on superior depends on who’s using the weapon, and this list takes into account ranked casuals and pro players - which means it’s about guns at their base but also their potential. The reason the Bocek is in B is because it’s incredibly superior in certain, uncontested fights where you can fire endlessly without having to trade damage or be up close. The B tier is comprised of weapons that are situationally very strong but also have weaknesses and need the situation to work in their favor to excel. Sentinel is put in B because it’s got the same exact dynamic of being situationally incredible but having a weakness that sometimes makes it contribute very little to a fight.

RE-45 doesn’t use disruptor rounds. It uses hammerpoint which is perfect for a secondary. You’ll pull it out after doing some damage and by that point maybe their shields are down and you beam them with extra damage. It’s an amazing secondary to use in the right hands. Can’t believe it’s the lowest ranked.
I believe an idea they can do to buff the charge rifle (hear me out) is making the turbocharger be attached to it. Having it do 40% less dmg or something for the advantage of shooting faster like in the game titanfall, charge hack
honest question, why are the smgs in A tier when you always see someone running one of the three smgs? aren't they almost necessary to carry around? and if so doesn't that make them S tier?

im doing great with volt and r99. absolutely shreds enemies and reloads faster too. just have to be a little agile. i've taken down multiple squads and third parties with ease. sometimes even with my shield fully broken and enemies with full shields. In my opinion, these 2 guns should not be on the ground at the same time.

I seriously hope Season 20 has something for content creators to make content about. Because a weapon tier list is....really just saying "I have no content to make on this game". The weapons have been mostly the same for a large majority of the game's lifespan, minor changes here and there. There's not really any secret to how it lines up. Pretty straight forward stuff.
I mostly did this because I try to do them once a season. I did a legend list right before this so it’s more of just my own box checking for my channel. I’m sure S20 (and apex) in general has plenty of content left but the content just has to change with the viewers. I used to make exclusively tips and tricks and top 5s at the beginning of apex and those topics sometimes just age out of a game unless there is a massive intro to a new system or overhaul in a season

Devo is f tier and has been for 15 seasons They need to buff the hell out of it and put in a care pack That gun is useless and I would rather punch than pick it up
Lstar and spitfire are swap out weapons for their better choices in A/S. A deco being in B and this “Better” is because it has an aspect of being the best close range damage dealing weapon with a turbocharger in the right situation. It’s got a higher ceiling of impact in my opinion, and also has more weaknesses. The way this list is organized takes that into account. You should be playing A/S weapons this season, and an L-star or Spitfire have better counterparts as choices. A devo with the right setup and situation can be a top tier weapon but it’s specific and doesn’t usually apply. If you only think about a spitfire being better than an lstar being better than a devo - your comment makes sense. I took a holistic approach to this entire thing so that it could help inform you on actual choices and make good decisions vs a normal list that puts something like “flatline or r-99” against each other as better or worse but denies asking the questions, “in what situation and for what player”.

Something to note: The 30-30 Repeater is the only weapon that's damage increases when ADS. After a delay, the bullets damage will be increased.

RE-45 with hammerpoints has a higher DPS (provided you can sometimes hit a headshot or 2) than any of the SMGs (except the Prowler) and without them still higher than the Volt, and 1 less ammo per mag than the CAR and R-99. No way it's rated so much lower than any of them lol
Looking at the apex wiki, volt has 180 dps and re45 without hammerpoints is 156 while also having higher damage per mag. It's a pretty significant difference.
@@tfk2328 Wiki shows 182 for me for whatever reason, but you're right. The TTK is still within 0.1s in most scenarios, and with hammerpoints (in most situations) the RE kills faster than the Volt and is faster than the SMGs at killing someone with no shields. R-99 is still the king but the RE should at most be 1 tier below the R9, CAR, and Volt

I actually like to use the l star and sentinel together weirdly. Not having to reload when you have the sentinel for range is really nice.
I like L Star, I would put it above rampage without hesitation.... use it with Rampart it's insane.

Agreed on your r301 placement. Tnat close range part is what make me believe it isnt A tier. The hip fire is so bad and having to ADS upclose for more accurate shots can be a problem for tines where you have mutiple enemies fighting you in a very bad scenario. Not a bad weapon overall tho.

That would largely disqualify it as S tier which is a must pick up. Many weapons in S tier out trade it and if anything it could be an A, but I find it more situational than guaranteed value. Most fights in apex that decide your life take place up close, which is where it lacks compared to most A tier or S tier SMG’s and AR’s. So that’s my reasoning. From range, without pressure, and not being the first person into a fight - it’s probably A-S. But that’s situational, which is what my category of B is for.

The bocek has almost the same damage per shot as the sentinel but shoots faster, never needs to reload at all, and has extremely reliable hipfire. Putting the bow B tier is already cap, but not recognizing it is straight up superior to sentinel and putting them in the same tier makes the whole list questionable imo. This almost feels like an opinion piece on each weapon with no real relation to the list you end up with.
A charged sentinel does more damage than a Boceck bow, and we’ve seen it used in Pro Play more regularly. The Bocek and sentinel rarely feature, but recently the amount of burst it can produce has been a turning point in fights with a charged headshot. Your opinion on superior depends on who’s using the weapon, and this list takes into account ranked casuals and pro players - which means it’s about guns at their base but also their potential. The reason the Bocek is in B is because it’s incredibly superior in certain, uncontested fights where you can fire endlessly without having to trade damage or be up close. The B tier is comprised of weapons that are situationally very strong but also have weaknesses and need the situation to work in their favor to excel. Sentinel is put in B because it’s got the same exact dynamic of being situationally incredible but having a weakness that sometimes makes it contribute very little to a fight.

It may seem like I am the end all be all in terms of the discussion, but that’s really what it is, a discussion. There may be weapons, underrate, and weapons that other people overrate. RE-45 doesn’t use disruptor rounds. It uses hammerpoint which is perfect for a secondary. You’ll pull it out after doing some damage and by that point maybe their shields are down and you beam them with extra damage. It’s an amazing secondary to use in the right hands. Can’t believe it’s the lowest ranked.

I believe an idea they can do to buff the charge rifle (hear me out) is making the turbocharger be attached to it. Having it do 40% less dmg or something for the advantage of shooting faster like in the game titanfall, charge hack

im doing great with volt and r99. absolutely shreds enemies and reloads faster too. just have to be a little agile. i've taken down multiple squads and third parties with ease. sometimes even with my shield fully broken and enemies with full shields. In my opinion, these 2 guns should not be on the ground at the same time.

I seriously hope Season 20 has something for content creators to make content about. Because a weapon tier list is....really just saying "I have no content to make on this game". The weapons have been mostly the same for a large majority of the game's lifespan, minor changes here and there. There's not really any secret to how it lines up. Pretty straight forward stuff.
I mostly did this because I try to do them once a season. I did a legend list right before this so it’s more of just my own box checking for my channel. I’m sure S20 (and apex) in general has plenty of content left but the content just has to change with the viewers. I used to make exclusively tips and tricks and top 5s at the beginning of apex and those topics sometimes just age out of a game unless there is a massive intro to a new system or overhaul in a season

Putting the devotion over the L star or EVEN the spitfire is absurd
Lstar and spitfire are swap out weapons for their better choices in A/S. A deco being in B and this “Better” is because it has an aspect of being the best close range damage dealing weapon with a turbocharger in the right situation. It’s got a higher ceiling of impact in my opinion, and also has more weaknesses. The way this list is organized takes that into account. You should be playing A/S weapons this season, and an L-star or Spitfire have better counterparts as choices. A devo with the right setup and situation can be a top tier weapon but it’s specific and doesn’t usually apply. If you only think about a spitfire being better than an lstar being better than a devo - your comment makes sense. I took a holistic approach to this entire thing so that it could help inform you on actual choices and make good decisions vs a normal list that puts something like “flatline or r-99” against each other as better or worse but denies asking the questions, “in what situation and for what player”.
