"...was the leader...". 1TYM disbanded years ago, but yes, he was the leader of 1TYM. I'm glad someone else listens to them, or even knows who they are. They had some really good songs! I was sad when I learned they weren't together anymore. But Teddy has spread his talents to BIGBANG and 2NE1, so I'm not too sad anymore. ;)

It can be pronounced either way, but in Korean, it's pronounced 'Tay-young'. That's how his band mates pronounce it, and the noonas that get them ready before shows, and the noonas that used to help them get ready when they all lived in the hostel together as trainees. And the only one who ever called him by his given name, Young-bae, is Papa YG. But otherwise, his name is pronounced 'tay-young'. Even he pronounces his name that way during interviews and stuff.
