Yamaha TY250 Electronic Ignition Conversion (Disassembly and coil mounting)

In this video we show you the process for converting a TY250 from the points style original ignition to a CDI electronic ignition from a kit we found at Speed and Sport. We did not cover the part of getting the bike running, this is just simply mounting the unit and coil. We ended up using a flywheel from a DT250 and lightened it in the lathe. Bike is running great now and starts up every time!
