  • In this video, we visit with Grammy award winning mastering engineer Steve Fallone, from Sterling Sound. Originally based in New York, Sterling recently moved from NYC to two locations: Nashville, Tennessee and Edgewater, New Jersey. We visited Steve in the Edgewater studios. In the music business, Sterling is beyond legendary and has worked with a who’s who of music artists.
In the last 25 years, Steve has mastered and co-mastered with Greg Calbi countless albums and singles. Often working directly with the artists, he has finalized the recordings of The Moody Blues, Ella Fitzgerald, Paul Simon, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Kacey Musgraves (Grammy winner, album of the year, 2019), David Sanborn, Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow, Gov't Mule, Hozier, The Strokes, Die Antwoord, Steve Khan, Dave Douglas, Alwways, Tom Harrell, St. Paul and The Broken Bones, Scorpions, and many more. Steve has been nominated for a Grammy award no less than six times. He has won two Grammys, one for his work Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga’s Love For Sale, and another for Kacey Musgrave's Golden Hour.
