I remember loving Galaxy 2 as a kid, but I was always disappointed by the carefree vibe it had. Part of what I loved about galaxy 1 is how it felt more believable and as if you were actually in space rather than galaxy 2 where stages feel a lot less organic and the atmosphere just isn't the same
@@drinkwatrr9883 I never understood this. Why does space need to look like space? Who says space ISNT like this somewhere in the universe? I think people should be more open minded about this.

@@callinater6133 so now we ask the question “why can’t space look like this? This is the vibe I love out of space”. Space more commonly looks like this in peoples minds, not bright blue skies and happy vibes. It’s more somber, quiet, and unless if you’re on an earth like planet, it doesn’t look like the majority of Galaxy 2. I personally prefer the somber and almost depressing emptiness of the aesthetic of this stage and the majority of Galaxy 1, but to each their own
@@KJ_Wynn fair enough. But this is Mario we’re talking about. And I never felt like the game was ‘somber or depressing’ which just sounds super emo to me. Atmospheric? Sure, but other than that the game felt like it was going for a more grand and epic vibe in my experience.

@@Goomba456 Not just like, the background IS directly from Galaxy 1. It's in the final Bowser Jr stage if I remember correctly, the rematch against King Kaliente. It might be in another stage in Galaxy 1 as well but I'm not sure. 4 years ago I would have known perfectly but I've forgotten for sure.

@OctagonalSM64 we've done bad things for sure, but I don't think that going extinct is the point, we've evolved to be at the top of the food chain for being the most intelligent species. As our technology evolves, we may find ways of reversing the harm we've caused

Ah yes,The Speedy Comet from Boss Blitz Galaxy, brings back a lot of memories. And I remember quitting over and over again. At last I've beat it, after 3 years of Hard Gaming, I finally beat it... Although, Bouldergiest was a Time Waster, I learned some tricks on how to reduce time, and continue the run successfully.
When I first played in 2010, my 120th star was the Speedy Comet. I had no trouble with Bouldergeist. Not even Fiery Dino Piranha. My problem was with Major Burrows. Catching up to him to deliver the final hit was always a challenge. He just went back underground every. Single. Time. I knew if I didn't have at least two and a half left by the time I beat him, I knew I couldn't complete the run. I managed to complete it my third time in.
I did it on the first attempt honestly! It was just way too easy to me... at least until, ya know... Grandmaster had me in the buckets...

If you want to listen to this music in smg2, you need at least 100 power stars. That means you have to defeat Bowser in World 6 at least once.

very relaxing theme to me some May find that crazy but some times I fall asleep listing to it weirdly enough did with head phones once with a tablet

So basically Boss Blitz Galaxy has 5 bosses from the first game, but why didn’t Nintendo include Topmaniac, Tarantox, Baron Brrr, Kamella, or Kingfin?! I mean even I wanted Topmaniac to be part of Boss Blitz cause he’s arguably my favorite boss of Super Mario Galaxy 1!

For whatever the reason as to why, I "grew up" playing this. The Second Mario Galaxy first, it also being one of the early games I completed 100% as a kid, so as such, I had experienced everything new and could never relate to everyone's elses "Nostalgia" for SMG1...
Still, I have no regrets, and I wish my Nintendo Wii would work again so I can play this game again.

there's a track called tension in both games, which almost always plays before a boss fight. I think its slightly better than this, but yeah.
