- Much like Elias' damn lapels, my Georgie and S4!Martin designs were the Correct Decision but that in no way made them easier to draw. I don't even know why I have such a problem with them?
Anyway, for folks who are curious about when to expect new videos, I've started putting info about my progress in the About section of my channel.

I love your animatic! I think about this scene SO MUCH because like... yeah, of course she would think jon wasn't trying enough. She doesnt understand the difference between his and melanie's situation, which is what shes comparing it to. Melanie got shot in the leg, and the last remnant of that was surgically removed from her and she started getting a little better. Obviously she still has issues with anger, but those are normal people issues. Its paranormal, but it manifests as something easily digestible, something you could see outside of a paranormal context.
Jon has been slowly fed a diet of supernatural G-Fuel in the form of statements, remolded by an evil omnipotent boss that knows just what buttons to push and which strings to pull. His friends have died, he's had his trust broken and restored and rejected by everyone in that institute at some point, he's hardly even human anymore. His problems are much more severe and deeper than an injury- they're a trained response of sorts to a stressful long term environment. Adding to this, his problems are basically "stalk people, ear trauma, and cause nightmares" which isnt exactly easy to think of a solution to.
I think Georgie is in the right with her actions here. The situation is too complicated for her to do anything about, and it's just going to hurt her to try. Theres no point in tearing yourself down to build someone up. But I dont agree with how she framed it at this point in the series; Jon's not getting any better, but that's not because he isnt trying. It just doesnt get better sometimes.
Actually kinda glad about what happened in 190, when she at least told jon that she was wrong the first time. She doesnt have to get involved, and she really shouldnt, but it wasnt fair of her to imply jon wasnt trying.

kudos to Melanie for having such killer fashion sense under such dire circumstances. i am looking respectfully o.o
My strategy with these animatics was to treat them as if they were snippets of a fully animated series, complete with arc-driven costume changes! In Melanie's case, I envisioned her starting out in business casual with scene influence, then having her go full scene/punk after she finds out she can't leave.
