All kidding aside try spaghetti , but instead of ground beef , get mild Italian sausages (about a lb.) and cut it out of the casings and chop it up to look like ground beef and cook it just like ground beef , drain the fatty juice (optional) , add spaghetti sauce and BAMM.

I do this all the time and get rave reviews.
The Italian sausage usually has a mixture of pork and beef with Italian seasonings .
Most stores have in house Italian sausage or you can use the name brand stuff.

Justine, something to remember:
Cooking is poetry, baking is chemistry.
Meaning that if you're cooking, it doesn't matter if you wing the measurements, but for baking you have to measure everything.

My grandmother taught me to love red velvet cake. Then I tried a red velvet cake not made by my grandmother, and was incredibly disappointed. It turned out that my grandmother thought traditional red velvet was boring, so she made a red velvet cake with Italian cream frosting. It took me a lot of trial and error, but I finally got it right.

Justine, softening and melting is different. if you completely melt the butter it would probably turn out differently. To soften butter just put it in for a few seconds :)
