Oh gosh that's my grandma. Once she didn't pay her electricity bill, and when the company guy showed up to disconnect the power supply, she created a huge scene accusing him of threatening and harassing a defenceless old woman. Guy ran so fast, he left skid marks.

Gearing up for battle after a breast cancer diagnosis. I think I'd rather like someone like Granny by my side, she'd probably give it what for, or give me some - questionable but probably sound - encouraging advice.
Love the horror lighting on this. Gran's hair takes on a life of its own in that light. And Hog still the hapless bystander 😂

Still chortling! I was a long term care nurse for 18 years, the last, and best, 10 of which, were on a dementia unit. The residents who you never knew if they were going to kiss you or kick the shit of you, were favourites. Loved every one of them, but those ones, they were still able to rage against the dying of the light. like dear Granny.

The newest retirement home in my town has been built just a few meters away from the cemetery.. with the windows actually facing it.. After some time, this was thought to be inappropriate..so a wall was built in the courtyard, to hide the cemetery view..now the old people's home windows are actually facing the wall, as the building is in a slightly lower position that the cemetery..I am afraid they might nurture the next Mrs. Geragthy 😅
