"Players in the lottery tournament don't have an incentive" Every player on a losing team is playing for his job. It's one of the unwritten rules of sports. Their incentive is to put good things on tape.
Eh, that sounds great - but, let's be real, no one would care about the tape from the draft games, it'd be about all the actual tape that players already have out there. Even if players 'gave a damn' about those games, they're still not going to take real risks in them or anything. I mean, injuring multiple players for just #1 overall pick... probably not an ideal strategy. I'd expect just a little more 'give a damn' than all-star games.

The scoring dip from no shot clock to the 30 second clock is really interesting. My guess is the AI is reacting to the shot clock by running more stallball to get to the shot clock expiring vs. just freeflowing without it.
Love the vids. To clarify, If a foul is on the ground, it doesn’t count as a shooting foul. So no automatic free throws.
I laughed out loud like a maniac at 17:10 perfect timing and editing there.
Kofie you aren’t allowed to come home I need to watch consistently winning Minnesota sports for the rest of my life
Great stuff. Kofie sketches are constantly getting more and more hilariouser :)
This fumble dimension was such a blast to be a part of. I forgot about how crazy the league got with no salary cap. It went INSANE. The contracts made absolutely zero sense.
I created an HBCU dynasty in 1983, Hakeem Olujwon retired in 2006 and i drafted him with the 2nd pick. And i won 5 championships with him. He is better than Jordan in this game. I had to take a screenshot of that lol and i was thinking of cutting him 5 years prior but he lasted. I also realized it seems like they give some players kids. I did some research like i drafted Dennis Rodman Jr in 2001. And maybe its a name generator coincidence
That Mugsy iso was hilarious.
Larry Bird leaving the Celtics to join Magic Johnson and the Lakers is extremely cursed
NBA 2K needs to be examined academically. From the body scans, the microtransactions, influencer marketing, to how it grew the nbas popularity, to how fans perceive basketball and talk about basketball, it's a very very interesting video game that has actually had a social effect on sports fans. There's a whole generation of people who play the game more than watching the sport
so hyped for this one, the streams were so fun
this is amazing, can't wait for the multiverse to continue unraveling in part 2
I was not ready for Stanley Stanley
This episode is gold! So fascinating to see a simulation where MJ keeps getting worse.
Jordan backing up Sidney Moncrief is wild!!!
I love this series as its stuff I do in my leasure time but Kofie wearing a bunch of AMAZING HOCKEY jerseys? Oh, I love it even more now. Especially that navy blue Whalers jersey. Incredible.
The Golf episode is underrated. You all do great work.
I wish I could find the first keyboard track they played in the golf video. That video doesn’t list music used.
The Mountain Dew logo on the first three point contest is hilarious
"Players in the lottery tournament don't have an incentive"
Every player on a losing team is playing for his job.
Magic Magic vs Stanley Stanley: the greatest rivalry of all-time
this is like Isiah Thomas telling people how the NBA really happened to ruin Jordan's legacy but he changed the star of the show to Olajuwon instead of himself so people didn't figure out he's lying
"David Stern would be pissed!" 😂😂
Who knew simming a 2k game would result in Kofie getting lost in another dimension
Kofie being exasperated by constant Celtics/Lakers Finals in the 80s… which was pretty much what actually happened lol
Definitely into seeing how wild this one goes. We really are going Across the Fumble-verse this time.
Also, please tell me that Kofie O'Hara will be wearing a Bruins jersey.
How great is it that Shaq and Penny ended up in the same team again, just a different one that in the real time line :D.
Whooo! The best series on Secret Base is back! 💙💙 (Sorry Rewinder and Beef History 😂)
Just an FYI, Shaq's contract in 1993 is approximately $363.63 million in 2023 USD
When is Part 2? It's been over a week. Also, where's Jon?
The full sleeve tattoos in 1984 from Mitch Blake is legendary
Jordan burning out so hard is amazing
MJ with no MVPs at all while all the rookies are handed exorbitant contracts out the wazoo scares me
Did one of the programmers have a grudge against the Jordan Bulls era and snuck in a bit of malicious code to sabotage Jordan in this mode?
Jordan’s prime and decline ages has to be messed up.
Mark Turmell continuing his vendetta against the Bulls
There's something oddly charming about Kofie's complete disinterest in emoting while acting in extended dramatic scenes.
