When I was a Beechcraft mechanic we used the 56 Oz mallet, HFE56, to knock out the round windows on King Airs when they were to be replaced due to scratching. Because the mallet was so precise in where the impact went it really cut back on the potential damage to the fuselage skins.
@@JuanRamirez-ud4eh The first versions had problems with the plastic aging and cracking, the later models fixed that and they are warranted for life Snap on would much rather warranty the hammer then have a customer hurt with a flying shard.
Some say that Trusty Cook makes these hammers. Well I don't know or care if that is true because the Trusty Cook do not have that grip nor do they have the lifetime warranty. I happily spend the extra cash for the Snap on
@@xj31 I think TC made them decades ago, but they haven't made Snap On hammers for a long time. I have a few TC hammers, they're ok for the price, but the grip on the Snap On hammers, especially with oily/greasy hands is worth the premium, IMO.
Snap On ever think about maybe putting flats on the top of their hammer heads. I use my bosses snap on hammers occasionally and it's super annoying that the hammer won't stand up when you put it down. My boss is in love with my MAC anti-vibe hammer set for this reason. He's also tired of getting his warrantied out for the caps/striking points breaking out of his hammers.
These are great hammers, the handles make holding it all day comfortable. Have seen the heads come off of these after having a couple big burely man swing them like a sledge hammer. Other than that they are great.
I’ve bought the 56oz and I work on semi trucks and I’ve found that it does flex when I’m trying to remove ball joints bit disappointed really due to the price on the snap on van
I know they used to. Trusty cool hammers are quite nice. I have a few but they don’t have the fancy grips. But they also are half the price, even cheaper if you buy the seconds that have small imperfections in the casting of the handle.
Because if you’re going to sell a $120 hammer with a straight face…..you had better film a 7 minute video explaining yourself. Sad part is……I now have to film a 10 minute video explaining why I PAID $120 for one. They’re actually really good, I ground the face flat on my 16 oz so it won’t glance off chisels and punches.
Best hammers on the market hands down. Most confident grip I've used and the rubber on the dead blows hold up way longer than others.
From my experience the fatigue comes mostly from having to swing the hammer at extremely weird angles.

Any one else have problems with handles cracking

The grips are really what make these hammers stand out. Kudos to those engineers.

Please make all of your hammers in Hi-Viz. I have all that you make, but would love a piston driving and dual flat face in Hi-Viz

Snap on definitely got it right with their hammers.
The best hammers I have used by a long way!

🤔 Possibly.

They use to. Snap on now makes them in house.
Hardest hitting and best hammer I’ve ever used…

Best Hammer EVER!! Nuff Said 🤙🏽
I love my snap-on hammer!!
I have a older Snap-on dead blow ball peen that the plastic all fell off of i dont think they are guaranteed.
Go to a tool truck I just had mine replaced. Just like any plastic it's going to wear over time and get brittle, butt that is 100 % covered
I own Snap on hammers 🔨.
More great tools from Snap-on 🇺🇸 ❤️ it
Love every one of mine!!
I really like this style video
Tell em the price son
Constant interruptions from the tool in red like bruh
My 12lb club hammer doesn't bounce and it doesn't cost £120
Heavier hammer=harder hit
They don't age very well, my small orange dead has literally shed all its outer coating now.
