Biggest thing I have with snap on impact rust so easy on me and other brands don't. Is their way can stop it. My Pittsburgh sockets are older and haven't rusted. Other than issue I love snap on sockets
A ductile material is one that can be drawn into wire. The properties you were describing were malleability not ductility. I would have thought a tool manufacturer would at least understand the basic properties of metals.
My dealers advice is to buy individual sockets as needed due to the cost of a complete set, I have a 1/2 drive deep well Carlyle 10- 19 mm and have only used the 13, 15, & 18 the rest have never been on an impact, 10 to 14 mm would have been more practical in 3/8 drive for me, thankfully I bought the set used for $100, my previous snap on dealer gave me a deal on a 1 &3/16 impact wobble for a $50 dollar bill, and without a doubt the I would prefer the snap on over the Carlyle which I want to say are actually Sunex.
Any tech will notice when you stick chrome sockets direct to the impact the square drive takes a beating no matter the brand. Impact sockets do truly hold up better on impacts.
How much can I buy the big swivel for?
See if your Snap-On dealer can order one for display/promotional use on the truck. He may be willing to buy one for you that way.
I wanna play with the really big impact swivel
How can I buy it
Expand the swivel ball extention set. 8-17 just doesn't cut it. Need a 18mm, 19mm
Very nice, I got my sets just a few weeks ago!! And I LOVE them!!

@@iij354 ok any certain oil work best?
@@shepherdsfleetservicesllc8147 I don't remember, ask your snap on rep, I don't remember if they have to oil or if you can use like regular 5-30

I love my Snap-On ratchets, sockets, and wrenches.
So why are chrome wrenches used on the other end of the fastener? No impact rated wrenches?
Just about the dumbest comment I’ve ever seen, you got impact guns for hands?
what kind of steel used for impact socket?

Not malleability, either. Maybe elasticity.

I like snap on's quality but they have priced me out. I simply can't spend what they are asking.

The only American company that hasn’t sold out yet.
