I managed to get right in front of Cedric's mic stand for the entirety of the 2nd night. The first night was just nailing down the songs and almost like a 'practice' night for the 2nd one, which was just more insane and letting loose with the jams. Incredible experience all around. They all sound amazing. Also it's funny to me in an ironic way seeing people mosh to jazz fusion Latin prog
Yes, there are no longer those beastly high notes, but Cedric still sounds as spectacular as before. A legendary vocalist 🤘🏻🤘🏻 When the Cedric - Omar duo is linked, sonic pleasure is guaranteed. Thanks for sharing mate
Does anyone know how Juan is doing? only thing I heard after his accident is that he is recovering and started to play again, but this was the only snippet I found from many months ago
Not sure about the drummer but the bass player they had before Juan Alderete is Ava Gardner. She took a break from touring with Pink to play with TMV for this tour.
@@TwoOfDee I would too but with his brain injury I don’t think he would’ve been ready for a tour. It gives me chills to see how far he’s come. You can tell he has some impediments but his will to triumph is so fucking strong! Much love to the Bass God Juan!!!
i want to understand some of the background of the song vicarious , cause what i know so far is that it is based on the story of a priest and some weird shiz however i feel theres something else , and somehow it is creepy, well if someone wants to share some info or your own opinion about it that'd be great.
@@matsunami no she doesn’t. It’s not the chops what isn’t there to me-it’s more like… the approach, the attack… have you seen videos of Theodore plying TMV? He sweats balls because of his approach, his attack. This person plays on the safe side of things.

Woah ! Nice long recording ! Going to watch it now . Thank you for uploading
TMV forever man !
Uff the best Cedric vocals i've ever heard
How long can it last?
Thank you, Rayne! I love it when it rains The Mars Volta!
I wasn't able to travel to Chicago to catch them, it sucks having to watch them by video, but thanks for uploading the video man, it's awesome.
Do you mean from Chicago? Because they are going to be playing in Chicago the 8th.
@@andryboi8024 Yeah i won't be getting there the 8th. Work sucks.
Catch a show it’s not too late!!! It was amazing Belting the songs along with everyone no judgment!!😊
@@raynewatcher6467 I'm counting them on doing more shows for 2023. They definitely should.
Muchas gracias por subirlo!!!!
last night in Atlanta everyone sung every word. wild shit.
I wish they had Juan on bass he was with them for a long time
Aw man, a shame the bridge to Empty Vessels got cut off :( but thank you for the rest of the upload
Seriously beautiful rendition of this song, had me tearing up a bit. Cedric's vocals really shine here.
The marble shrine has an amazing video of these shows
Both nights were Soo amazing
Fucking Cedric’s vocals from what I could hear sound better than ever
Welcome back 💎
I'm making a multi-cam, full show video for both nights. Can you send me your video?

It's hard to genuinely judge that with a cell phone recording. Those phone mic's get overwhelmed pretty easily.
@@craigkellberg6917 I have a bootleg audio recording done on a Sony PCM-M10 that I can sync the video to

HOLY FUCK EVA IS BACK. I love Juan, but it’s so cool Eva is here. Maybe Juan can come back and we can have double bassists 😏😏

@@TheMullerClan wait he had an accident? What kind
Who did that vocal at 9:52?
Sounds like an audience member.
That person nailed it
Alguien que le sabe al Volta
That’s literally me and the crowd. I did hit the highs!!!
I also accented them a lot with my maracas❤
What was setlist for 2nd night?
Same I think. They might have skipped empty vessels I forgot honestly
Damn
Who's on drums? Who's on bass?
Only other original member is Omar’s brother on percussion.

@@dantelamusta I prefer Juan, she didn’t play very long with tmv

Her name is Linda Philomene Tsoungui, but i guess Cedric introduce her to the corwd as Philo Tsoungui

That whole album gives me the creep tbh
Can't hear anything but the organ.
🎧
Day 1 was better
Some of this especially the first 20 minutes was 9/22
The drummer is lacking…
you're not listening!!!!!!!
No way, Philo is a beast. She matches Theodore's style perfectly.
