    Thanks for calling out Vinesh. He's allowed to want sexual attraction, but his total inability to read that his second "hot" date has ZERO interest him was crazy.

    • @ShanteRoxxane
      @ShanteRoxxane 2 года назад +5

      That dude’s level of obviousness is top tier! Not in shape but wants someone who is and works out often. Not very attractive but wants a woman who is.
      The only guys who get away with being that picky are also hot and fit themselves or rich and don’t want their wives to work, but he wants her to work and have an education similar to him. Go figure!

  • @CiaoColeG

    I was soooo confused. Nadia said Shekar told her he was intimidated by her and refused to flirt. He seemed pretty into her, but I'll admit I thought his energy was very feminine. Anyways, Shekar said Nadia told him they were just friends when she came visit him. So he was a gentlemen, then they talked everyday, and he flew out and met her parents. Next she kissed another guy in front of him. Then she showed off how happy she was while dumping him and told him that she felt rejected by him....after months of talking every day??? What in the world? I think Shekar was just her backup plan until she met Vishal, who maybe just wanted to sleep with her, he was honestly put off by her personality after they talked more, or possibly his friends and family discouraged him. I just don't get Nadia. I'm in my 30's like her and have empathy now. In my 20's I could be a cold-hearted jerk, but life ought to grow you up.

    Not going to lie, I laughed at Nadia. You're in your mid-thirties, ma'am and you threw a whole relationship away so you could get some young eggplant. Literally the first cute guy that walks into the room she disrespects her whole ass boyfriend away. ( they were months deep in travel and meeting parents that was her boyfriend and she knew it) Shekar dodged a bullet because she didn't even have enough respect for him not to just start making out with some guy. Not wife material.

    • @cookiesarelikecream
      @cookiesarelikecream 2 года назад +8

      She’s definitely more interested in getting social media followers/clout from the show rather than a serious relationship. And she seems like the type who’s never satisfied and is always looking for the next best thing. You’ll never be happy that way.

    • @ShanteRoxxane
      @ShanteRoxxane 2 года назад +2

      Idk why I took forever to realize what eggplant meant but still laughed at the idea of someone being called an eggplant 🤣 🤦🏾‍♀️ I figured it out after a minute though, and I totally agree. I don’t think she’s wife or even girlfriend material.

      I also laughed and shook my head. A woman also in my early 30’s and I could have told her myself the young bloke just wanted to get in her pants. You could tell by his demeanor that he was not serious about her from the getgo. Stupid woman. Then she try to shift blame on the other guy so she could dump him with clean hands when he did nothing wrong. She let a good man go. Hope she learnt a valuable lesson.

    outside for coffee before we got married. We are happily married for 37 years and raised two wonderful boys. Yes it is true in the south asian (Indian) culture first comes marriage and then comes love. Also I followed my mothers advice when she said if the man meets 7 out of 10 points in terms of criteria for marriage go for it.

    Honest Question - do you think it’s possible that an Indian born/raised in the US/Canada may not end up having the same upbringing, cultural experiences, and lifestyle expectations as an Indian born/raised in India? There’s a reason why many dating apps that cater to South Asians abroad allow users to specify whether they prefer someone who is also born/raised in US/Canada.
    In many ways, Indians raised in the US may hold a lot more “traditional” values than our counterparts in India because they were passed down by our parents/grandparents, who felt the need to preserve whatever cultural customs they could in a new place where they were the minorities. And that’s even if those same values or customs changed/evolved/progressed in their countries of origin in the last few decades. In other ways, our parents had to adapt and assimilate so other aspects like lifestyle expectations, aspirations, and gender roles changed a lot more in the US. There are also a lot of misconceptions in India with what living and working in the US actually entails. It’s actually not even just an Indian thing - the TV show Ramy on Hulu touches upon this for Egyptian Americans.
    At the end of the day, there can exist two different cultures, experiences, and lifestyle expectations for someone raised in the US/Canada versus someone raised in India even if they’re both Indian. Simply sharing ancestry isn’t some automatic guarantee of compatibility. You imply there’s a degree of hypocrisy when it comes to Arshneel, but wearing a turban is also a religious rite and most would agree that a relationship has the best chance of success if both partners respect each other’s religious beliefs and share similar lifestyle expectations and cultural values.

    • @KinnellShah
      @KinnellShah 2 года назад +1

      @@dee_Dogra How so? Do you disagree? What are your thoughts on the matter? Do you believe sharing ancestry is enough and one should just ignore cultural and religious differences that may stem from how and where one was raised? I am merely speaking from my own personal experiences. Not once did I ever say one country of origin was better only that they can be different and for some, it can be a difficult adjustment.
      If you're unable or unwilling to explain your own point of view on why you disagree, then the only condescending person here is you.

      It's reality TV, so obviously it's exaggerated

    This show is far from reality .
    I don't get how you guys watch This show being from west .
    Here in India no one watches this shit .
    My two sisters got arranged marriage and i can guarantee you the process was different from what shown . And i am talking about 1million+ USD wedding in India . Which are the kinda clients seema aunty handles in show.
    I hope this is the last season for this crap of a show.
