      2nd best, Ralph Klein was better. He had the balls to tell people to get a damn job. But she is great, she just needs to man up and tell Canada to get bent, and cut Canada off of our resources. If they want to lower their emissions, we should help them by turning off all oil and gas from heading east of Saskatchewan and west of Alberta. Let them freeze in the dark and wait 10+ years for new pipelines from America to provide them with petroleum products.

      Whereas....
      The Ucp is the current governing party IN alberta politics....

    Funny how Alberta has one of the biggest tech sectors in Canada, the U of A is constantly creating new innovative technologies especially in the medical field, we have microchip manufacturing for missiles, we have the #1 hospital for brain injury, and our oilfield is the most innovative and is above any beyond 99% of the rest of the world when it comes to safe and clean means of oil extraction, yet we're the hillbillies? Go to northern Ontario, Quebec, and rural maritimes, they truly have hillbillies and far worse hillbillies than we do. And we pay for Canada to have jobs, and a dollar that has any value.
    And yet, despite the animosity that much of the country has for us, the rest of the country thinks that we shouldn't want out of this joke of a country.

      Saskatchewan and Alberta used to be “Buffalo” in the early days of Canada. We, in Alberta, still consider Saskatchewan to be the exact same as us. Whenever we speak of ourselves, we include Saskatchewan. We are the same people by our shared values and culture.

    Wonder why all products are made in China. Thank government environmental policy, unions for investment into Asian countries and other countries. Canadians, Americans, etc, want great standard of living, as do everyone. However you need productivity. We need productivity to produce goods, services and rewarded with agreed upon salary. However when government installs barriers via policy for environment, labour, etc. these are hurdles for productivity. Therefore these policies impede growth. Therefore capitol looks elsewhere, where Capitol is appreciated and less hurdles to cross. Capitol fled to Asia for higher productivity, less labour expenses. This allowed North Americans to continue buying goods at lower prices, but also job market disappearing. The fossil fuel energy providers have been attacked, along with mining for raw resources. This is Canada bread/butter. Then the liberals have the gall to increase immigration to 1,000,000 annually. Government is the problem. Big federal, provincial, and municipal governments. To many government workers, contractors.

    Age should be increased. Section of brain that allows safe decisions is not fully developed until 24 yrs old. U may do a double backflip off bridge at 16yrs but will not at 24yrs. Will think it’s a good idea to tattoo your visible skin at 18yrs but not so the same tattoo at 21yrs. So puberty blockers and Surgery should be banned until 21yrs.

    We all know Smith’s policy on taxation. We experienced it when the provincial fuel tax went back up to the full amount on the same day as the carbon tax increased. She had already decided that we weren’t getting an income tax reduction while at the same time talking about affordability problems. The trans thing was just an attempt to distract from her broken promises. No different than any other politician and she can’t be trusted. Sad to think that she was the best choice. This is now how Canadian politics works, we vote for the people that might be the least corrupt and unethical.

    • @gordonmarr6463
      @gordonmarr6463 3 месяца назад +10

      She did not break a promise. There is a threshold on the price of oil. Grow up. You must be NDP. Unreal silly. And lies.

    • @Timberland1963

      @@gordonmarr6463 She brought the tax on fuel up the same day Trudeau raised the carbon tax, I’d say that’s giving others the middle finger. Where’s the cut in income tax? Maybe later? She’s no better than any other politician, they all lie. I voted for her and only a complete idiot would vote NDP. I picked least worst because in Canadian politics there is no best.
