Wow!! Absolutely the most stunning journal! Your creativity is blowing my mind. Super awesome from decorating the edges to each page you added so different! Love it!!❤❤
Love your christmas journals! Im glad you shared how you journal. I like quick writing so your ideas are great and i can still enjoy my homemade journal.
Hi Susan! Gosh, thank you so much for saying so!! I truly appreciate your kindness!! And I also appreciate you watching my videos! It means the world to me! Thank you for taking the time to leave a nice comment! I hope your summer is going well! 🤗💖💖💖💖
Madilyn again. I wanted you to know I have one of your Simplicity pajama journals that I put all my Baby cards in that I came across in one of my Mom's scrapbooks. I copied what Mom wrote down in my baby book. It was done in pinks and aquas, too. Took pictures of my twin and I (all black and white) and added them to the pages. I cherish that book you made. I just went through it again just recently and remembered you because you created it. Thank you for taking your time and talents and sharing them with us.
Hi Madilyn! Nice to hear from you! That is so sweet how you used your journal! I am sure it will be treasured for a long time!! Thank you for sharing and for your kind words!! 🤗💖💖💖💖
Love love love your beautiful journals.❤❤❤ too beautiful to write in! Just love looking at the story and all your extra pages. A lot of love was put into these works of art.....hugs from Michigan
Both of these are wonderful! What fun plans you have for them, as well. I really enjoy your style of journal making! 🥰 Looking forward to hearing more about your upcoming class!👍🏼😉
I'm so glad another crafter doesn't always write in them. I love making them but I don't like writing. If I get better at this I would love to sell them. Fingers crossed. 😂😂😂
Yes! I say do what you love!! Best of luck if you decide to sell them! I may be doing some teaching or sharing tips about selling at some point! Let me know if you ever have questions! 🤗❤❤❤❤
So cute. Love these journals. I bought the waiting for Santa book back before Christmas from your other video. I am so sad, the postal carrier crammed it in our mailbox and bent the book. 😢. I still plan to make a journal with it, but bummed it is bent. Loved how your journals turned out. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for your kind words about my journals! Oh, so frustrating the mail carrier jammed your book into the mailbox!! The USPS needs a total overhaul! I'm glad you are still going to make a cover with it, but sheesh! 🤗❤❤❤❤
Thank you! That yarn is vintage, but can be hard to find! You can look anyplace that sells vintage! Antique shops, thrift shops, yard sales, flea markets, ebay, etc. Good luck!! 🤗💖💖💖
Thanks so much, Rochelle!! I call them Kittydoris because traveler's notebook style journals are often given a name with 'dori' on the end, named after the original traveler's notebook designed by the company, Midori. Sometimes people will refer to traveler's notebooks as "fauxdori" notebooks or they will put their brand name in front of the 'dori'. I also make and sell covers made with vintage chenille bedspread fabric for these notebooks and I call them 'Kitschydori'. 😄 Thank you for asking!! 🤗💕💖💕💖💕
Hi! I'm sorry! I'm not creating videos or making journals any longer. My Etsy shop is still open selling supplies, but I've moved onto doing other work. Thank you for asking and watching! 🤗🩷🩷🩷
So random but hoping you could help, what is that type of yarn called. I try looking for that type and the stores I go to don’t carry that kind. It reminds me of the yarn we used in elementary school 🥲. TIA Btw, I love everything you do.
Hi Sarah! That yarn is vintage and they don't make it anymore! I've spent years looking for new sources and there are some similar, but never the exact same texture, which is very soft. It was sold as yarn to wrap gifts with (although it was popular as a tie around ponytails, too!), so it's usually called gift tie yarn. It was sold at places like Hallmark and Woolworths. I have only been able to buy it at thrift stores, estate sales, and ebay. But even then, it's hard to find! Good luck! Thank you for watching and for your kind words! 🤗💖💖💖
@@KittywittyPapercraft that’s probably why I’ve never been able to find them 😂. My teachers were older women so I’m sure they had them for years. Great memories and thank you so much for your reply.
I love your new Christmas journals. Everything you make is so beautiful. 🥰🥰 Could you please tell me the brand & where you got the pink yarn for the sewing journal? Thank you
Thank you so much, Rachel!! I appreciate your sweet comment! The yarn is by Lion Brand. It is their Red Heart Grande yarn in the color 'Nectar'. They sell it lots of places. I buy it online. Just search Google and compare prices! I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding it! Have a great day! xoxo Amy :)
Hi Deane! Yes, when I made journals I usually included all the pages from the original story. I did make some journals that only had a handful of the pages from the story whose cover I was using. Thank you for watching! 🤗❤❤❤

Thank you, Ann!! I just love Christmas, too!! 🤗❤❤❤❤
Your journals are beautiful! I was wondering where you find your sweat yarn from the 70's-80's, that you tied your journal with?
Thank you! That yarn is vintage, but can be hard to find! You can look anyplace that sells vintage! Antique shops, thrift shops, yard sales, flea markets, ebay, etc. Good luck!! 🤗💖💖💖
