What’s interesting though is the English version lyrics are not the same as the korean version lyrics translated. Basically the same message but not a direct translation
Hmmm, , maybe did that to just keep the flow and rhyming nice. Sometimes direct translations can sound very disjointed. Either way the sentiment was still there and it sounded amazing.

Quote from Jae "when you translate lyrics from Korean to English, there are a lot of phrases or vocabulary that don’t directly translate well. It either gets oversimplified or gets too complicated. We wrote it in English, just due to the fact that it’s such a global message these days and it’s something we want everyone to hear. And, if possible, even for a little bit, feel better"
Life's a Beach reminds me of what I’ve heard Bang Chan from Stray Kids say about writing English lyrics for a few of their songs. I love both versions of Zombie so much!
@@HallyuHagdom We flew Seattle to San Francisco to see them this past September. They were so good! Really happy I went since they likely won't be able to tour again before Sungjin has to enlist. 😭
yeah it's very timely for me. Having some conversations with my boss about what could be some life altering changes to my work arrangements that could help with issues I've had for a long time. I will find out in the next week if it goes ahead.

I'm glad they basically wrote the english version from scratch because it sounds so good. This song came out at a really great time I think. For me, I always have a hard time after a school year finishes because I completely lose all motivation and will to do anything really. It was good to hear this now

Aussie K-Pop Mum yeah, that’s probably the reason, especially considering two members are fluent in English

After Jae posted his conversation with JYP on Twitter yesterday, this song hits even harder. I also relate so much.
