Maybe someday! Especially if the movie does well! It's still listed on the Sally Corp website as available too so while a long shot at the moment, the idea of a FNAF ride or land isn't dead
I'm never going to understand how this went unsold. You'd have to be living in a cave to not have recognized the brand power of the FNAF IP when Sally Corp. put this pitch together - you'd figure amusement parks all over the place would be fighting each other for it, but apparently nah. FNAF just wasn't on their radar, or this.... was too expensive to set up? Required too much space? We really will never know why parks didn't go for this, but it's really, really _stupid._ It does make me wonder what other rides Sally Corp had in mind that would've been slam dunks that never got made. Wonder how well documented IAAPA expos are in general, because it would be crazy if, like, Sally pitched rides for... I dunno, a Beatles/Yellow Submarine-themed ride or something, and some doofus park like Hard Rock Park passed on it, and there was no surviving media of it because no one thought to document it at the time. Maybe a LEGO Star Wars or Halo Mega Bloks ride for Lego Land. Stuff like that - I bet Sally have a ton of stuff that's just like... shameful and baffling that parks didn't go for 'em.
You can actually see some of their other rides that are currently unsold on their website if you're interested! FNAF feels like the biggest missed opportunity, but the Shaun the Sheep ride looks really fun too. I feel like theirs still a stigma that video game IPs don't have the same staying power or mass appeal as film based IPs. But hopefully things like the Nintendo Land at Universal will help show this isn't the case. There's so much potential for video games in theme/amusement parks! It really shows just how forward thinking Sally Corp is that they not only saw the potential in video games, but in indie horror games too not just the AAA franchises www.sallydarkrides.com/
@@PiTheThemeParkGuy Thanks so much for the link! I'll be diving in to their page and going down a little research rabbit hole now that I've got a little time off from work finally. Never even occurred to me to just look up their website like that, lol 😄 You're probably right about the video game stigma too, which is weird because I know - besides the hype for Nintendo Land - Sonic's definitely seen success in the past with stuff like the Sonic Spinball coaster at (UK Park) Alton Towers, or Sega World/Joypolis centers' Sonic themed dark rides. Really feels like the themed entertainment should've caught wind to the power of long-lived video game IPs by now, but it is what it is and you're totally right in that, if anything can prove it to some people, it'll be Nintendo Land.
Here's hoping! Although I feel like Universal Creative would likely design a new attraction from scratch if they choose to do a FNAF ride rather than use Sally Corp's. Either way though I'd love to see it!
I think universal studios would love to have a dark ride like this because it could replace the walking dead attraction and because they are making a FNAF movie
If the movie does well I'd be shocked if they didn't build something. Especially with how good a relationship they have with Blumhouse. A Walking Dead replacement would be perfect!
The Circus Circus hotel in Las Vegas did a FNAF walkthrough attraction for Halloween one year (I wanna say 2016 but I'm going by memory here)! I'd love to see one of the big dogs of Halloween Theme Park Events take a stab at it though. FNAF at Halloween Horror Nights would be incredible
Honestly I feel like Universal would consider this if the FNAF movie does well, perhaps they could put it where Men in Black is? (I know that's a popular ride and all, but MIB is pretty outdated, plus at least we'd still have a shooting dark ride)
It would be sad to lose MIB, but I would love a fnaf ride! And Universal has worked well with Blumhouse lately. I feel Uni would likely design their own ride nowadays rather than buy one from Sally. But who knows
I would rather have FNAF replace Supercharged honestly, it'll be sad to see MIB go since MIB is one of my fave rides alongside Revenge Of The Mummy, Race Through New York, Transformers, ET, Gringotts, Hulk Coaster, Spider-Man, Ripsaw Falls, Popeye, Velocicoaster, Forbidden Journey, Hagrid's, and Villain Con Minion Blast.

@PiTheThemeParkGuy I haven't really done my own research (mainly because I just don;t have that time right now) but I heard that the fnaf dark ride was confirmed, maybe you could make a new video off that? or make a video about the fnaf attraction at fright dome. anyway, have a good day :D
I inquired about this ride with sally corp for my own theme park i'm working on. The number they quoted me was (understandably) very expensive to build... but it's still on the list of headline attractions I want at my park... maybe one day.
If it helps, I have at least $5 I could put towards it if you wait until next payday lol Jokes aside I would love to see it be built someday and it would make a fantastic attention grabbing headliner for a new park! I wish you luck
I think it is in the Sally Corp office building in Jacksonville, FL. I couldn't confirm that though during the time I was making of the video though so I didn't mention it. But unless it was scrapped for parts or reskinned to be a different character, it hanging out in their office/workshop makes sense

Any park! Seriously want to see this still even if it is a Pov video... :)

Considering the box office success of the FNAF movie, I do hope Universal picks up on it and replaces Supercharged with it.

Every company has hundreds of unsold uncreated projects that don’t get realized
It still could! With Blumhouse being under Universal, they could pick it up as a marketing campaign for when the film rolls around
