- We're going to several video game stores in Yonkers, New York, and Connecticut. A few Game X Changes, a couple of Retro X Changes, Stateline Games, Get Good Gaming Company, and a new store Cruzn Retro. Along the way we hit up an anime shop called Unsettled Geeks, and a Goodwill. It's a busy episode, but I hope you enjoy it.

I’ve been blessed to see all from 1980-Now I’m from NY Hewlett Harbor originally on Long Island now I’m by that area in Westchester I’m in Bronxville right next to Yonkers and in Upper Nyack in Rockland when you think of Yonkers you think of DMX/Ruff Ryders and The LOX/DBLOCK enjoy life happy to see another gamer on RUclips from the New England/North East areas the only ones are Sprooch Game Hunting and RI Game Hunting happy I found you I have all NTSC consoles from 1980-Now what a life of gaming Get Good Gaming is the only retro video game store in Rockland my friend Taylor owns and operates it the retro stores are all on Long Island and the five boroughs there’s a couple spots in Westchester Retro X Change that guys prices are way too high for years go to Game Zone in NJ that’s a good spot in these areas upstate Westchester Rockland NJ and CT
I’m actually going out on Monday to Long island to shoot some stuff, and NJ sometime early in the new year. Great stores in the area. And I agree with all your assessments
@@ThePaulWebercan’t wait to see what you have to going on appreciate you
I recently went to a game stop and they were just selling controllers. I was so confused. Loving the series!
awww baby he's back and he's wearing his sacais at a target
Gotta flex with the goodfellas jeans
My first time here on the channel. Very cool channel. Good luck with the N64. Im working on my set as well.
Thank you!
You're quickly becoming my favourite game hunting channel, Paul! Thanks for all the great consistent content (:
🙏🏼 thank you, that means a lot.
7:33 That Switch Lite is priced the same as an officially Nintendo-refurbished Switch Lite. I know they gotta pay bills but why anyone would gamble on a used Lite when they can get one directly from Nintendo, especially with how well they refurbish their stuff, doesn't make much sense to me.
12:31 Pocky & Rocky Reshrined was one of my favorite games I beat this year.

I totally understand that Barbie picture. I would’ve grabbed it too
It goes with nothing, but I’m like, I like that this Barbie likes vans.
I’m a Yonkers native so I have plenty of experience with Retro x Change. They have an amazing selection but the prices are always a little high. I’ve gotten some great deals in the past though. I don’t buy from them anymore though because it’s quite frankly cheaper to buy online. Another big issue is space, the store is tiny. I haven’t been to their new location yet though. Also, they do get games early sometimes which they price normally so that’s definitely a plus!
Edit: I really wish Yonkers had more variety in game stores. Legit just Retro x Change, we used to have another one but that was both before Retro x Change opened up and the pandemic when prices were significantly cheaper lmao
I honestly had a good experience in the past with them. The main problem, is it’s really awkward when I have to ask prices for every game, or when I get prices they are really off base. There is kinda a dead zone for game stores between white plains to Yonkers. But I guess it’s because the margins on video games stores can survive such high rent without the customer volume.
@@ThePaulWeberyeah the owner is a super cool guy, if I ever get deals it’s with him in the store. The other employees not so much. The worst is when you ask how much something is and then they call up the owner to ask😭
how do you figure out if a game is repro or not? Just see if the cover matches the other games?
Nice hat, are you a Teddy Fresh fan?
You know it. I bought this a while ago, but I’m a streetwear person in general. They are the perfect line between RUclips and streetwear
Yonkers is a place?! Never knew that
It is, it’s just north of the Bronx and south of white plains. It’s not NYC, but it’s not upstate, it’s Yonkers
@@ThePaulWebermy brother anything above Long Island and the five boroughs is upstate once you go north past the Bronx you’re upstate once you get into Westchester county you’re upstate
I see retro x change is still pulling the eBay price check literally the only store in NY the pulls this stunt but when you’re trading/selling an it they stare at the item and just offer you 50 bucks
Also don’t trade your games here the owners a crook preys on people unaware on games prices gave women who son died 50 bucks on cubivore cause “she didn’t know what she had” yes that’s a quote for the owner
That’s no good. I feel like it’s on the seller to know the worth of their games, but in those circumstances that’s messed up
