It's like we see a digital proto-entity try to express itself in the world of your video datastream, like a confused baby with wide open eyes full of wonder.
there's a bunch of OPN stuff (cassette releases for example) that's only available digitally on boomkat (.. as far as i can tell !!!) boomkat.com/products/kgb-nights-blue-drive boomkat.com/artists/oneohtrix-point-never
yeah i've known this song forever and honestly returnal has been my least listened record by OPN (aside from ouroboros, genius track) but coming back to returnal recently i immediately recognized it. wild.
@@lewis1902 i did this just playing around with VLC and exporting video files over and over again using different Low compression settings, and repeating process over and over again. i'm pretty sure there's better ways to do similar things. apparently there's free program Avidemux that has "datamoshing" which looks pretty fun. a lot of the videos i was doing was just result of playing around with VLC/iMovie.. Oneohtrix Point Never works as a "soundtrack" because his music is honestly so evocative, you can pretty much put footage of gltiched out pixels to their music and it "works". :-)
this one always fucks me up in a god way

Big flock of Alien birds landing on a ancient Martian marsh for mating season.
best thing next to physical memory
Your mind. The universe.
OPN always gives his tracks the best titles
I listen to this for hours, memorized the pattern
Wow I only discovered this a few days ago and it's already criminally underrated in my mind

@@bitroast cool! yeah so much obscure opn from his early days, hope he revisits this style at some point
It's already criminally underrated in my mind... it's a good title for another yearning song♡
I come back and still get the same feelings from when I first heard this wonderful song
One of OPN's noisiest tracks? Other than nil admirari and some of his pure noise EPs from his early early days
Yeah, listen to Free Ride and Hollyr
format & journey north is pretty loud too. one of my all time favorites
Who wants to project their astral forms to this?
Me
Me please

Woah.
plainly sublime.
howdy!
Im absolutely certain this plays in the background in the first minute and a half or so of Nil Admirari
Holy shit
you've got to be right holy
oh man, great catch

that's such a great find!!
All this beauties..
really cool video!
This is probably my favorite OPN track from the "chiptune-noise-wall"/ambiant part of his discography.
Actually i'm still fighting over if i prefer this, Fourier Ocean Scenes (from Revenants Bootleg) or Physical Memory (from Russian Mind).
side effects
Cyberpunk new-age
so good
