I get whiffs of it all day when I wear it. I use 4 to 5 full sprays about 5 to 7 inches away. One on each shoulder one one the inside of each elbow and one above my watch from about 3in away and I dab with my other wrist. 😉
Loved the review Peter. I'm still not sure which of thes 2 to go for. I was leaning towards Aventus cologne since I have Hacivat but was not sure how well the cologne did in terms of performance and compliments. Any thoughts?
I'd personally go for the Cologne . Hazivat, to me, is completely different from Aventus . Still, I'd go for the Cologne because it's a new scent and the clones of Aventus are plentiful. Mont blanc Explorer is worth the price , and it has a good Drydown 👍

Only if you like the Aventus Drydown. It's a good one. But ,if you are into the Opening of Aventus ,then ,I would go with Armaf Club de nuit or Mont Blank Explorer. 😉
Yes, it is a dang mess. The newer batches are fresher and don't seem to last as long. That's what I hear,anyway. It isn't the producers fault alone for batch differences. The weather and soil have a big effect on the crop variations. Especially with fragrances of a more natural note base. The best advice I have is to try Aventus on the skin somewhere. And see if you like the new ones. If not try to find an older bottle at online sellers. Unfortunately it is a big gamble . I personally have had good luck with online sellers . Fragrancbuy.ca Fragrancex Fragrancenet Are some I use in the US. Best of luck ,let me know how it turns out.👊
Aventus Cologne is amazing. I want to smell it all day everyday. I have Aventus and the cologne. I prefer the cologne version. I also prefer the Viking Cologne version instead of the original.
Aventus doesn't have any ambergris in it. Ambergris had been illegal for all products sold in the U.S. and Europe since the 70s. Aventus has ambroxan in it's base.
if you can smell ambergris in a scent then it isnt ambergris. Be an accord Ambrox, Ambrinol, Fixateur some musk and animalics. Ambergris tinctures smell next to nothing. They're used to exalt the fragrance. Magical stuff

@@coreywilkins7899 the creed company was sold and Aventus reformulated. Doesnt last that long and isnt really strong anymore

Cologne smells like a designer Aventus slightly sweet and smooth good scent but maybe not worth the price. The OG aventus is worth it.
