I have lived in a multitude of cities in this great country but there's no city that comes close to the vibrance of Montréal. I was born here and I'm perfectly bilingual. Proud of my city and what it has to offer. Come by and spend some time here, you won't want to leave.
Comme toujours, vos vidéos me font apprécier ce que je tiens pour acquis. Merci! ❤️
Very underrated one of the most picturesque city in the western atmosphere. Just a fantastic place to live
I'm so lucky to be able to call Montreal my home
At the 2:46 point, there's a guy who says that Montreal is also a great city to come home to, and I say to myself: "Yeah, that's a good point..." And then I see that the guy speaking is... ME!
seriously debated with myself the same questions, its like the perfect city
You can leave Montreal, but the city will never leave you. A unique combination of feeling like a cosmopolitan city and a charming village.
A beautiful mixture of European culture and North American amenities all rolled into one which will warm your heart and make you fall in love with the city.
Beautifully said Franklin 🥰
That was truly, beautifully said! I couldn't agree more with you @Franklin Porter. I feel the exact same way, everytime I go back to this that I love and that I was born in... Endless summer walks in the Vieux-Montréal, having a drink at Les 2 Pierrots, spending a full day at the Jardins Botanique (especially the Chinese and Japanese gardens) , going at La Ronde during l'International Loto - Québec and watch those amazing fireworks spectacles... Montreal, to me, will always be home!
I love you Montreal je t'aime
West Paris is so beautiful. I look forward to visiting.
I'm moving definitely to Montréal th next week 😍, so excited
I left a month ago after 10 years of trafic, smog, hipsters and random shootings. Have fun in your misery.
I’m so proud to be a Montrealer!! Love our skyline at night from the mountain lookout ❤
I just left my soul city Montreal yesterday, haven’t been back since the pandemic, oh sooo bittersweet!
I shall return💜🕊
So glad you made your pilgrimage back! Come back soon ❤️
@@DiscoverMontréal I plan to and bringing friends with me. I discovered Griffintown!
So sad to see all these people leaving a so beautiful places
Left Montreal in 1995, miss the food, miss the bike paths, miss the joie du vivre. If I didnt have a family here on the west coast I would consider moving back. Higher taxes but everything else is way cheaper.
Love my city ❤❤
Je reviendrai à Montréal, c'est sûr !
Church @ 2:41 - Église Sainte Marguerite-Marie (Ontario & De Lorimier). That angle with the Fountain gives it a very latin feel IMO.
Ceiling @ 7:00 - Crew Collective & Café (Old Montreal). Old bank turned into a coffee shop... amazing.
Fountain @ 9:45 - Montreal World Trade Center (Old Montreal)
Let's see this people come to Montreal in the winter ...
Check out our video on tourists discovering Montreal winter for the first time!
Just like the rest of the Province
A beautiful city with horrible roads. I love Montreal; I lived there for five years in the early 90s and I continue to visit family almost every year. I just don't understand why the city still has terrible roads.
Ahmad is 100%+ correct. Our roads suck. Shameful.
Because the Quebec government is corrupt and pocketing up the money which causes poor quality of roads.
It cause the have to salt to roads in the winter
@@187Heeren I am not convinced this is reason. There are hundreds of cities across Canada and I am assuming they all use salt to clean up the snow. None of them has such terrible roads.
@@sgo5196 Not sure how your comment is related to mine 🤔
😘
You have to do one on Céline Dion mate🙃
One day!!
Ouf, tu m'as fait peur. Je pensais que c'était toi qui partais :(
Jamais❤️
T'es mieux de pas partir Chris! lol
It's difficult to leave Montreal because there are no trains that go directly to the airport, so you're at the mercy of road traffic and Uber/cabs.
You won’t have much of an excuse when the new REM metro line opens to the airport in a couple years
@@DiscoverMontréal That will definitely make things a lot easier for sure. My husband and I love transit up there, so much better than back here in Halifax.
Montreal is not that good
??
Montreal isn’t in the echelon of Paris or London, but it’s definitely worth visiting.
When you're born in Canada, it's not that good. Lots of trafic, human misery and hipsters. I'm so glad I left.
Its good to visit, but not ever consider moving here.
@@Leonard_Wilson Montréal is than Paris for living
