I am ,Master in Fine Arts ,and for the first time I went through such a detailed , description of Indian Paintings ,the connection between them at times beautifully explained though I have read a lot but Binayji explaining it is music to ears.
Enthralling talk. Surely, he is spiritual. Otherwise, not possible to capture the beauty of these marvellous paintings of Ajanta. And his presentation was almost like a music. Thank you for enlightening us.

What an Enlightening presentation of our Sacred Indian Art! I have always enjoyed watching & listening to Mr. Behl through his documentaries on Doordarshan. What a noble, serene and Spiritual voice and body language!
I am so overcome by the splendour of Indian art watching this learned gentlemen, my heart yearns for an India under a real patriot like Modi ji, deserving of being worthy of it all.
A wonderful talk! Amazed at the work of Sri Behl from photography to history to the philosophy of art. His appreciation of art is wonderful, profound, that of a true connoisseur, plus he is a great teacher. I feel lucky to have found this talk. Thank you.
For first time in my life, I fell in love with knowledge of paintings. It is the adorable way of your presentation, your choice of perfect word to describe each and every details of paintings compelled me to feel the awe and immense beauty of our art and culture heritage... I am feeling overwhelmed that such great artists and philosophies have pervaded whole Indian subcontinent.. Maybe this was the factor that thinkers and writers like Aurobindo ghose and Rabindranath Tagore believed that there was an eternal cultural unity among people and traditions of India since millennia.. The colonial rule only expressed that unity explicitly and India became a political state-nation. With utmost gratitude, I convey my thanks to you for giving such valuable insights into the world of Indian culture and arts..
Captivating and enthralling presentation. Full of joy and grace. We got to a glimpse of the vastness of the Indian civilization and its impact in the world of art and painting all throughout East-Asia.
The Ajanta paintings are marvellous, but to insist that there is consensus that they represent the summit of artistic effort in all of human history is simply untenable. It might be true that several people do indeed hold this position, but it is by no means a universal perspective, even among those who have familiarity with these works. Also, apart from their undoubted beauty and splendor, much of the paintings' importance lies in that they are extremely rare survivals of the art of painting from India's classical age. Were more painting from this period preserved, our perspective on the Ajanta images might be consequently modified.
Is jainism original culture of India, as it is older than Buddhism? Vedic arya culture is oldest , from it many saimts derive thier ideas like buddha, jains, vaishnavite, charaka, etc. all are Arya Dharma
47:53 That art and the following art showing Rajasthani art shows the disconnect from the ancient Indian tradition of Painting with the heavy influence of mongol/muslim/persian forms.
Well if you see the art of Rajasthan , it is highly influenced by the jain manuscript paintings , and then when the rajputs were under Mughal rule those abstract swiggles of the jaina manuscripts mingled with the Mughal or persian realism . Art is ever evolving you see
