My only problem with Ethanol is that it damages engines. If it wasn't terrible for my vehicles, i would love burning corn all the time. As it is, i avoid it like the plague.

It's only really bad for engines if they aren't designed for it or sits for a long time.

Thats a myth, any car after 2001 can run up to 15% ethanol without issues. The older cars it didnt damage the engine, it damaged the fuel system.

I eat animal based. Pork loin and bacon at Costco are my main tools for providing the meat and fat affordably . I also grow lamb and laying hens for eggs and some Kune Kune pigs for eventually home grown pork. Until all my pork is home grown I rely on Costco pork and corn from the feed store for supplementing the animal and poultry. I haven't yet succeed in.prodicing enough grain on my one acted homestead to supply the grain portion of the rations for my pigs poultry and sheep. Therefore I depend upon purchased corn as feed for my livestock and poultry . When I purchase pork loin and bacon from Costco I realize I'm also depending upon corn to feed myself and my family I give a small amount of whole corn to supplement the forage based ration for my sheep. We grow a small amount of sweet corn to feed the family members that can tolerate carbohydrates. I feed the remainder of the sweet corn plant to the sheep and pigs and even poultry. Nothing is wasted. The manure fertilzes our garden and ornamental plants, nuts and fruits and pasture. People who consume the lamb, eggs and vegetables we grow rave about the quality. They don't realize that purchased corn is the basis for this delicious food.. I slice the Costco pork loin into 3/4 inch steaks and fry them in bacon grease and watch them like a hawk and take them.out right when the digital thermometer says 150 degrees.
This results in a flavorful, tender very succulent pork steak. As you indicated it is way too easy to overcook the pork loin steak which results in a dry leather like steak making to chewing on a boiled leather belt. As a side note, eating this meat and egg centered diet has resulted in the loss of 53 pounds over two years.. My blood work is good . I trace my improving health to consuming pork and eggs that are fed a corn based diet. One thing I don't think people realize is that a cow produces one calf per year and needs to grow for eighteen to twenty four months to reach a decent slaughter weight. In my experience one corn and hat fed sow can give birth to twenty pigs per year that reach slaughter weight in much less time. Caveat: my Kune Kune Pigs eat a lot of forage and don't grow as fast as standard market hogs in my experience and they consume a lot of forage. In contrast although pork commercially is largely dependent upon corn and soybean feed. The feed conversion ratio of feed to pork is outstanding. Small scale pork production paid the mortgage payments on our small farm for several years. All of farming has a place. The vegan or climate change activists arguments that we should all eat plant based diets simply ignored the reality of how agriculture works. For example, because I'm an diabetic I HAVE to limit the consumption of high carbohydrate plant foods. In contrast I can daily eat pork and eggs produced with corn as the feed base .

Keep pushing ethanol i made so much off small engine repairs, because of the fuel and what it does to gaskets, plastics used in small engines.

Facing your furniture with your back against most/all of the windows is not typical especially to the front of the home. The TV should be on the right side in the room with the furniture between the 2 two doors or placed in the middle of the room.
Bathroom in front of a large low hanging window.... Cole better hire a designer that is familiar with room sizes and align walls according to Window locations.

46:23 Ethanol fuel is not good for engines. E85 has detrimental long term effects on small engines and older engines with carburetors. It’s really not even all that great for modern EFI systems.

Ethanol isn’t recommended for small engines or vehicles manufactured before 2001 for that reason. Newer engines however handle it just fine. I run E30 in my 2006 Chevy Colorado regularly with absolutely no issues. Also ran E85 in my work flex fuel vehicle. Always ran great.

36:45 I'm no farmer but "no evidence of GMO corn" causing harm sounds iffy to me. Maybe the studies haven't been done thoroughly done yet? Yikes. To think humans can do it better than nature or God is a scary thought to me. I try so hard to not ingest any GMO crops. I trust God over man but people will do anything for money these days. Love the show as a non farmer. Getting back to finishing the episode

You can only prove something is harmful, not that something is safe. Learn how science is done. No studies prove that drinking 8 glasses of water a day is healthy. They pulled that number out of the air.

Glyphosate has already been proven to cause cancer. The companies that “study” and promote these products as “safe” are the same ones that are selling the products. The whole reason GMO’s were made is to make the Plant produce a protein it dose not naturally produce in order to use more chemicals and herbicides on the crops. But nature adapts and weed resistant crops has been a growing issues so they are trying to use biologicals to naturally control weeds and inspects. Much better than human made chemicals.
