While watching the oil build...I got the feeling of the game Tropico...So I thought "Tropico Oil" would work since your wealthier citizen Leonardo DiCapacino. Started the company after going pheasant hunting in the brush ,shot a hole in the ground and out of the ground came bubbling crude...oil that is!
That sounds more like it should be Clampett Oil. 🤣
Black Gold. Texas Tea
even better, tropicoil
Love it Franklin! Thank you!
This has fast become my favourite Cities Skylines channel. Your builds are amazing! I love how the town has evolved from a small 'villagey' vibe to an advanced modern looking one. Would love to see some really expensive villas tucked in the mountains with a view of the ocean
Thank you so much! Will definitely be getting some luxury villas in the mountains soon!
I will never stop being amazed by how good you can make industrial areas look. I really like how this one sort of disappears into the foliage at lower angles too, I feel like it's super rare to have oil industry areas that don't stick out of the landscape but I think the "absorbed by the jungle" look works splendidly for Solitude's vibes (and hides it from the tourists!).
Thank you moonturtle! 😄
Wow! Only just discovered this series and I'm in love with it!
The attention to detail is absolutely fantastic and truly makes the town feel alive and realistic!
Thank you! I’m a little detail obsessed lol! Glad you are enjoying it! 😄
Power lines along the road add sooo soo so much realism! Love it! Beautiful and creative and realistic build, again, Candy.
Thank you!
Really great NMT work today, I'd forgotten how to get rid of the fence with this tool and it looks so good how you Fewsed those oil processing buildings together that way! Lovely build! Also I'm loving the music for this series, such great bops! Love it Few!! 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗
5:47 "Liquid Lightning Electricals! Bringing the bottled lightning of the future to your door!"
Bonus points if you read it in a 1930's style salesman voice.
😂
Would love to see a 5 star all inclusive holiday resort type hotel slotted by the beach and the existing hotels
Maybe a nudist one, lol
HECK YEAH
Ahhh, looks so great.
And this channel is not just a FewCandy for our senses, it is like a sugerrush to my eyes and ears videos like this, excellent placement of assets and good explenation of the thinking behind it.
Thank you!
Welcome @@fewcandy least I can do is from time to time, show my appriciation towards the creators that I watch :D
Ohmigosh, you had me at that little power building!!! Great job with the oil - no surprise, your fav :) - I like how you ran more basic stuff to make it go, and those outbuildings totally make it!
Nice! Was having Solitude withdrawals, Happy Friday!
Also I vote for Strickland Propane and Oil for the new industry area :)
That little electricity complex on the shore is such a nice little detail!
Great episode Candy, I'm so intrigued with your level of detail. Speaking of which, the cim you placed in the yellow jumpsuit at the sub station looks like he's walking away in disgust from getting a whiff of someone gassing. It looks so precarious 😂😂 It doesn't look intentional, but I got such a laugh from it.
Awesome build Few!
I was having some serious super chat withdrawals. This super thanks should tide me over until the next livestream. 🙂🙃🙂
Awww thank you so much Edward!! Really appreciate it, as always! ❤️
Really great job blending the industry in with the theme. It really looks fantastic:)
Thank you Stilettos!
I just die everytime you kick into that "out into space" segment! (I shazam'd for the name of it obvz)
Yes!!!
Who would have thought an oil build could be so beautiful! I would work there myself haha! The little electrical service hub is so cute with the pier and generic industry! Always hanging out for the next episode so keep it up FC!
Thank you Heather!
I enjoy seeing cities develop from a tiny town that is realistic rather than gamed tiwards a big future city, and then it transitioning to a bigger place organically. More like roleplay.
It’s so fun to see how different this is from your last build.
Love the overall tropical aesthetics, therefore how about "Tropicoil"?
Within the oil distrcit, a firewatch tower might be appreciated by the folks living nearby🔥
looking forward for more
Thank you! Love the fire watch tower idea!
Like the area very much. Very inspiring. Got to learn to use find it better with those sub buildings, haha.
Great episode!
Solitude grows more and more gorgeous! Maybe a trendy ayahuasca retreat for those Goop enthusiasts who want to expand their consciousness in a tropical environment?
"Gwyneth's solitude scented candle-making retreat"
Another fantastically detailed build! I heard you mention the possibility of a favela. It's easy to make everything look crisp and clean, so I'd love to see you turn your spectacular detailing talents to making a run-down shanty town on the coast, with open sewers and rusty shacks of corrugated iron.
Really love your attention to detail and how you manage to make assets look so good with their positioning even when they seem to devastate the terrain. Having just recently found your channel, I've been going back and watching all the Auridon content and really enjoying watching you start of strong and then just get better and better. I was super excited to see a new Solitude video pop up in Suggested while I was doing so.
Since it's on the side of a volcano, maybe Vulcan Oil (sounds kinda like volcano)?
Love the name suggestion! And thank you very much! Glad you are enjoying both series 😄
I'm on my first detailed centric map , over only been playing for about a month .. I'm just learning, but ,I have just found you as well..
I have alot of assets I'm not even sure how to use yet 😂 But, I'm excited to learn...
I went building a strawberry market stall by hand for my little computer people until I realized someone put,the stalls on the workshop all together already😂
I saw you have them as well when you were looking for the boats , at least I'm going in the right direction 😂
Thanks for your videos .. I'm even more obsessed in making tiny little biomes for my tiny little people ❤
I've learned so much, in just one video TYVM !🙏
Ahh thank you!
Love the town name of Serenity!! Being a huge Firefly fan. Browncoats unite! Keep up the awesome work FewC!!
I really like tropical cities and this one is nice to see being built, it really makes you want to live there
Great stuff! You can put some giant manholes in the ground, like the ones in big gas stations
Yay, it's official!!!
Bob has his bar. 😁
I was thinking that Solitude should have a sugar cane plantation complete with a rum distillery. 🍹
He does! And yes that it a good idea, thank you!
@FewCandy I was just picturing Bob with his own makeshift distillery hidden somewhere near the sugar cane fields. It's where he makes batches of his top selling drink.
Bob's Beach Bum Rum
I am up to date 🥳. Love the build. The oil/ undergrowth look is so good. I might have been tempted to make it a little scrubbier. But actually, it looks so good 😍. I had a friend who was looking at working in the oil industry in the caribbean (he's an engineer). Said a lot of the jobs are in "health and safety" and a lot are largely office-based. So with the power generation, and oil industry, you'd get a good amount of office/ admin buildings kicking about. Including old school science lab type places (nothing tall or "high tech"). Wonder if they'd fit in well around the oil fields...
I would love to live in a place like this. I know this place isn't supposed to be highly developed but can you please add a mini university? I love campus plus industrial builds.
Also, your planet zoo series is awesome. Been waiting for a new episode of the zoo. Lots of regards. 😁
Amazing timing! This is what I needed ti relax after spending 2 days without sleep in the library! Amazing work as usual! ❤
Hard to find oil up the mountains like that, but you'd have nailed it if you'd gone for mining instead. Except that in mining they reldom replant trees. :(
Not an easy terrain to work on at all but it ended up looking fantastic. I think the factories set back from the main road rather than right on it works better (the way you ended up placing them eventually) - hopefully the residents opposite have slightly less polluted air haha loved this as always!
Have been to many residencies that being built by a company to accommodate their workers and those housing across the street looks just like the one I have been visited, albeit those are still bigger/nicer than the real life housing I referenced. Anyway, this is nice episode that remind me of a particular friend's home town.
Very well done miss fewc! The oil area came out very nicely 😮😮😮
Amazing video, really enjoyed the wave power plants and connected facilities.
You make everything look so easy with what you create i wish i was half as talented lol
total fire Hazzard with all them trees
this is fast becoming my fave series!!!
Aww thanks Zan!
looks great! i think a small marina somewhere in the bay would be very cool
Solitude becoming my favourite CS series 🤩🤩
Ahh thank you so much ❤️
Adore your little worker power building and detailing
Do a google image search for California oil pumps. I don't know about in the tropics, but the density of oil pumps can get kind of insane in areas in California.
It's still an adjustment to hear the few candy bulldozer and expect to hear the auridon theme 🥲
😭 it is for me too lol!
Working right now!... 😪 Hasta la noche que llegue a casa para poder verlo con calma!...
What about Soli-Crude for the oil industry?
Love that, thank you
Lovely build.
Beautiful build as always! Any plans on starting to stream on YT?
Yes, will be having a Solitude live stream very soon! I just wanted to let the city build up a little first!
Your city is amazing
Wow intro is amazing!
Third! Nice Episode😄👍👍
OE dropped,FewCandy dropped,man we eating good today😩
Really great job
Really cool
And for the oil facility combining oil and solitude: oiltude refinery
Love it! Thank you!
hey candy? You hyped for the Hotel and Resorts dlc? Love the build by the way
Absolutely am! 😄 and thank you!
@@fewcandy you're welcome
Videos like these always make me wanna install cities again...damn😅
Solitude never crude oil company 🙂
Yes!!!! 🎉❤
If I buy CS from Instant Games can I still install mods from the steam workshop?
Yes you can, just make sure you buy the steam version on instant gaming! (You’ll see the steam logo) instant gaming gives you the code which you then redeem in steam 😃
@@fewcandy Awesome thanks❤️
❤
Bob’s Crude Oil 😅
Love it! 😂
Cripes you should have left serenity for buffa, serenitea should be his next build
I meant biffa, spell check sux
like I said "Next level" !
Pity the real artistry is done in timelapse bc it's too quick for me to 'look and learn', even if i slooow it down. Its a little frustrating as you (and a couple of your peers. like Biffa, City Planner Plays and Overcharged Egg) are actually the driving force of people (like me) even buying and playing CS as it can be demoralising at time.
Is nothing called Serenity Now??
Edit: oil group Serenity NOW (Northern Oil Workers)
Burgan oil field
Solicrude Oil?
Ooo I like that! Thank you!
@@fewcandy I always enjoy a good pun or play on words 😎
Solioil
Fewenzo's Oil? Sorry.
😂 love it!
❤
