Hi thank you ! Personnaly, I did the same several years ago with a rented Peugeot 205 : to flood her deliberately with too much choke; it is very exciting, I confirm.😛 The following year : I rented the same 205 but I felt she was more tired and I didn't dare to martyrize this old lady ; I started and drived her more kindly 😊
A very good idea after a trip to the shop to use full choke as the car may have cooled down meantime and might struggle to start without or stall on you. I think that's what the choke is there for after any stop to let it have its moment to perform. Thanks for a great vid
@@Manualchoke I have some experience with this, but with mopeds and motorcycles. I loved having ones with a choke. To not use in cold weather and to use with a warm engine ;)
i love how they couldnt bother to at least put a clock or a tachometer and just left a big reminder of what car you are driving in the gauge clust lmao, really couldnt spend an extra 5 bucks for it, such a cute little car
Great video man, thanks for uploading! We need to get you a 2nd camera - I bet she was smoking nicely out the exhaust from all the extra gas. Love that feeling of a warm engine, flooded and choked, engine trying to start, bucking and shaking, cranking and stalling. All she does is tease you😉🍆
Yeah I could see the smoke from the passenger mirror as the exhaust is on that side. Miss the days when you knew from the smoke and smell from people exhaust as they drove past that they were still the choke out
@@Manualchoke - and you could tell just how well the car was tuned :-D. You could always buy a very cheap pre-paid smartphone at the store, never activate the service, and use it strictly as a camera.
I’ve tried a Renault 5 before and would agree. Although never had the opportunity to try a Panda. I bet it’s great fun. Sounds like you have had plenty of experience lol
@@Manualchoke Use to see lots of Panda's, Renault 5's, MK1/2 Fiesta's struggle to start from cold back in the day. VW breadvan's always started from cold if the autochoke worked.
If you have enjoyed my video. Please consider giving it a like, share or leave a comment below!
Now it is time for shorts and flooded cranking watching you pump a lot, please
I used to purposely flood my old Vauxhall doing that, loved sitting on the soft vinyl seat cranking away
Yeah I used to do the same when I was younger in my Vauxhall nova. So much fun. I’m glad I can still enjoy it today with the 205.
Mine was a 1965 Victor, it used to flood easily, loved cranking it until the battery died
Wow. I’m sure that was fun! Love the retro vinyl seats you used to get in these old cars. If you fancy chatting more send me a message if you wish.
I had this car for a little period long time ago and I remember how it strongly shaked while cranking and sputtering ❤
Oh wow. I’m sure you gave some stories to tell. I’m glad you loved the video. I enjoyed sitting in the driver seat when it was spluttering!
My Mom Camaro car used to shake when I started it up specially when it was hard to start

Thanks for the comment. Yeah there something really exciting about flooding her!
If you pump while cranking with choke you will flood it terribly… and the game starts… exciting.
Yeah and then your in trouble especially if your in a hurry!
@@Manualchoke the more you are in hurry the more you pump
Oh I know. It’s just the natural thing to do.
@@Manualchoke that’s so exciting to watch
Yeah totally agree. Love being the passenger in the car
Love how it almost will start then sputter and stall… and then lots more cranking. 🔥
Yeah totally agree. It tries so hard to catch ever time!
and the fun repeats over and over😈🍆
@@Manualchoke - and hearing it try to catch is the best sound!
You have the perfect car dude
Thanks. I’m glad you like the video!
Thanks, I do!

Great cranking and sputtering !
Thanks so much. My favorite thing
This would get me in trouble. Lol. I wouldn't be able to resist to just keep pumping it for minutes :D
Totally understand! You wouldn’t be going anywhere!
@@Manualchoke I have some experience with this, but with mopeds and motorcycles. I loved having ones with a choke. To not use in cold weather and to use with a warm engine ;)
Awesome vid - that mixture was so rich it just flooded it every time. My bike either baulks like that or screams it head off if I choke it warm😜
Yeah the mixture was just too rich for it to catch or stay running.
I really want to come and play in this car
Thanks for watching. I’m glad u enjoyed it. Love to have a play!
Would you give us more videos of that kind? This 205 is such a collector
❤ lovely video
Thanks!
Can you go on whatsapp
I'd enjoy this
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. I hope you have check out my other clips!
The best way is to revving the car loudly
Thanks for the comment. Yeah definitely
i love how they couldnt bother to at least put a clock or a tachometer and just left a big reminder of what car you are driving in the gauge clust lmao, really couldnt spend an extra 5 bucks for it, such a cute little car
Thanks for the comment. Yeah it doesn’t even have a radio or rear wiper.

Yeah I wish I had another one to get that angle. You could ready smell the rich petrol in the air and the exhaust was wet afterwards.
@@Manualchoke - that is hot to hear! did you notice any smoke in the mirrors?
Yeah I could see the smoke from the passenger mirror as the exhaust is on that side. Miss the days when you knew from the smoke and smell from people exhaust as they drove past that they were still the choke out

Yeah that’s an idea.
Nice Video it struggles good Regards J.
Yeah it didn’t like being given full choke when it was already warmed up
@@Manualchoke - that's why carbs & chokes are the best. You're the one in charge. You command it to try and start warm and choked.
That’s so true! I agree totally. Wish every car still had a carburetor and manual choke.
@@Manualchoke - it would make my life a lot more interesting😈🍆
When do you post new video?
Just uploaded a new Rover Metro clip. Feel free to check it out!
More view from passenger or outside with door open
Ok will do!
Pump it….. flood it and enjoy
We want to see new videos please !
Absolutely loved this video! Next time do it in flip flops/barefoot 😉
Thanks for the comment. I’m glad you loved it!
Does your car shake when you start it up
You can definitely feel it shaving when it’s stilling cold as it warms up.
@@Manualchoke Ok my Mom Camaro car used to shake when it started up specially if it was hard to start
What country are you in? Can you help me buy Peugeot 205 spare parts?
I’m based in the UK.
Why do this?
for a small portion of people, it's a fetish.
@@ThrottleResponse what the fuck
@@ThrottleResponse I mean whatever floats your boat but I've never heard of a cranking fetish (at least in regards to engines lol)
Super turn on
You do not crank a warm car with the choke out.
Accelera, siocco
Renault 5's and Panda's were worse than that from cold.
I’ve tried a Renault 5 before and would agree. Although never had the opportunity to try a Panda. I bet it’s great fun. Sounds like you have had plenty of experience lol
Yes I confirm that an old Panda mk1 in cold damp weather is worst than Peugeot 205, but here the playing in at hot I think 😊

@@jaggass definitely. Certainly a sight and sound you don’t see these days. One I’m sure you miss!
