I used to purposely flood my old Vauxhall doing that, loved sitting on the soft vinyl seat cranking away

    • @Manualchoke

Yeah I used to do the same when I was younger in my Vauxhall nova. So much fun. I’m glad I can still enjoy it today with the 205.

    Hi thank you !
Personnaly, I did the same several years ago with a rented Peugeot 205 : to flood her deliberately with too much choke; it is very exciting, I confirm.😛
The following year : I rented the same 205 but I felt she was more tired and I didn't dare to martyrize this old lady ; I started and drived her more kindly 😊

A very good idea after a trip to the shop to use full choke as the car may have cooled down meantime and might struggle to start without or stall on you. I think that's what the choke is there for after any stop to let it have its moment to perform. Thanks for a great vid
