I mostly play 2v2 with my friend and we are 1300 in 2v2. Pretty sure we would win easily but would welcome the opportunity. Make it happen beasty!

Thanks to your hotkey video, I can now appreciate how you're changing units from 1 to 2,3. Yellow seemed higher than 1k elo, he lost knights but was pretty active with them. Red should have also committed to feudal with his free ram tech but then there would be no content.
22:56 Was going to suggest Ctrl+W to avoid looking back each time you put down a tower but then realized you were shift queuing it back to wood. Plebs like us don't bother and leave villagers hanging at the tower to admire the view.

In terms of beating players of lower skill-level than you, I have found that HRE is by far the best. (Mongols silver tree can actually be better but that is assuming the opponent is really dumb and never even bothers to kill a trader). Economic focused Civs are the easiest to abuse since lowered skilled players may not know how to punish. (In custom games, it would happen more often than I thought that if I full econ in 4v4 games as HRE that I could just kill all the opponents with my army alone as my allies were still just setting up defenses or teching up.) Still, it is very impressive without allies considering team games help cover basis (you either focus on Econ, Attacking, or Defending, and often an ally can fulfill the defensive role so you can econ up).
Not sure how ELO works cause it states my elo is about 1888 but that is in custom games (I generally only play customs, which often has significantly lower skilled players and team games) It is surprising how strong Econ can be late game (for all civs really)
what is full eco for HRE? can you explain what you focus on? and standard army Compositions?

so ... red was cooking lunch and eating 2/3 of the game or what ? didnt look like a 2v1. i never played this game but im sure i would have performed better than red, by just building random stuff and at least trying to help jellow.
my beginner mistake was also to hyperfocus on eco and not realizing its 15min and have done nothing on the map, might have happened to him
@@TheDool i mean i guess its fine to hyperfocus in eco and than come up with a crazy army and crush em, but he didnt do that too.

Man that Abbassid player was pretty much MIA the first half he should have sent archers with rams in Feudal with the French knights that's it just starve HRE of wood and slowly take down production buildings and villagers only way to take down the Beast in my opinion ... don't think they had the micro or macro to manage larger pops and do multiple fights on multiple fronts like Beasty or even close to it so it had to be a Feudal rush or nothing
Hi, im the red, playing as Abbasid in the video. Just for you know. I'm not missing in action. I'm guarding 4 of the relics. At the time 8:30 what would you do if Mr. Beastyqt here just rush castle so fast and produce knights massively. Anyway, Its an opportunity of a life time to play againts number one AoE 4 player. The pressure, micro, and else is crazy. Its a GG.
@@enggakjuga5219 bro if you are who you say you are then I think you had the right strategy, you managed to jab and step when you could and you did build an army and put pressure at different times and also denying the relics as best you could preventing him from gathering resources which makes him damn near unstoppable late game. The dude above commenting probably plays mario smash brothers and gets his face smeared in shit on aoe4 but has all kinds of opinions. Beasty is a beast I wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes with a team mate. I bet you watched this video and saw his button pressing and reaction speed and persistent building and pushing back it's in a league of its own dude is legit he makes the game fun. Gg man keep leveling up 👍

I was going to say the exact same thing. He played really well for his rank.
You did it right. The sweet spot is about 1k - 1.1k for this to be where either side could win. Would be too easy for you if you go vs like sub 1k, and too easy for them once it’s like 1200+.
Nah he'd beat a lot of 1.2k 2 players as well
@@cheesealsocheese4843 maybe, but 1.2k players are pretty good and are definitely not noobs. The thing is in 2v1, french players are very strong as they can apply pressure early on allowing their teamates to boom, knight harassment isnt that hard.

It would be interesting with map editor if you could increase his pop size to 400 and then 2v2 higher elos. The 200 pop cap would be tough against the 400 combined of you and your partner.

I've watched plenty of games on RUclips where the person has an ELO of around 1000. It's just my opinion, but I think they went easy on you. They should have easily been able to beat you.

@@adrianrabe2099 totally agree, but the most impactfull factor is the strategy used by the 2 playerd, i'm pretty sure that a feudal ram push is not possible to defend in 2 vs 1 (even for beasty). Cau's sure beasty can outmicro and out eco but in the early game its impossible to match the army numbers of 2 players.
