Everything looked good on you. I thought the red 2 piece looked knockout on you. If you keep it I hope you find an event glamorous enough to wear it to. My other favourites were the white dress, the floral jumpsuit and that fringed jacket.
I loved that last outfit on you, the red one with the 3 red flowers, stunning. I could see it being worn to a New Year's party, wedding, Valentine dinner date, even a Christmas party. Loved it.
The white on top, black on the bottom floral dress made you look so slim. I loved the placement of the flowers too. The black jacket was giving me biker cowboy vibes. lol Thanks for showing us lots of great styles.
Thank you Jule! That black and white floral dress was my favorite! I appreciate the slim comment, now I like it even more 😘 Oh my goodness, a cowboy biker!! Love it!
The white dress with "AC" looks so beautiful on you. I also love the deep teal pantsuit with the black bustier. It also is stunning on you. The roses on ivory jumpsuit is lovely as well. Wonderful choices!
Love many of these pieces, and I appreciate the fashion wisdom encouraging everyone to wear what makes us happy. Love the bells on the door for the dog. I had a tambourine rigged up beside the back door that my dog would bat around when she wanted out.
Great haul❣️ Everyone of the items were a stunner on you! Funny fact about Khaki, the British pronounce it as Car key and for the longest time I was wondering what the heck is that woman saying in her haul video until I figured out she meant the colour Khaki…😂😂 I think maybe we started referring to a type of pants as Khaki’s sometime in the ‘80’s and now we refer to it as the tan colour those pants came in?? I could be totally wrong too…😂 When you started talking about fringe I thought ooooo…my black leather jacket with the fringe on it from the early ‘80’s and then low and behold what you came out with was a black fringed suede jacket!❤❤❤
Beautiful!! I loved the dark green dress and the red 2 piece at the end. You looked stunning in it!!😍😍😍😍 I'm so with you on florals!! I absolutely LOVE THEM!!!!! Keep up with your videos! I really appreciate your help and hard work!!!
Idea for a future video: My coworkers & I were saying today that we need more ideas for shoes to wear to the office - specifically flats, wedges, platforms & low heels - to replace the heels that many of us abandoned after the pandemic. You always have great videos though and I watch them all! 🇨🇦
I love that you are reviewing City Chic, because so many of the gorgeous clothes you review aren't available here in Australia. I would love to watch you review Taking Shape (ts14+) and Virtuelle, another great Australian plus size clothing store. Thank you - I am loving your reviews.
Thank you, I really like that dress! It seems like many of my UK and Australian viewers know khaki to be an army green, and many of my US crew are in the brown camp!
Wow! Not a loser in the bunch! You look great in the first green….absolutely green, dress! I love the white on you too! And the fringe jacket! You’ve got style girl! ❤❤❤
The word you are looking for re: white dress is antimacassars they were used to prevent soil on arms and backs of furniture. Cool word to know. Amy green, olive green =dress Khaki, flax= pants colour Great video you are such fun!
All the dresses were very pretty on you! I love the red dress on you! There will be somewhere to wear it someday, but until then have it for your at home dress up day's! Prefect!
I love the black jacket and the metallic dress. I can’t believe how good you looked in the red skirt and top. You need to find a place to wear it. As always I get excited when I see you have posted a new vlog. Keep it up ❤
This first dress is kakhi, olive green has a yellow tinge to it. Love the Erin dress. Thats the shape that works best for my body. Ivory dress is gorgeous! Such a pretty interesting fabric. Would buy it in a flash if I has the occasion to wear it to.Love the blue pant with jacket! The thing I like least is the blue dress with black lace. The black lace makes is looking cheap and the cut makes your top looking huge. Loved the fring dress and jacket and the jumpsuit looked wonderful but I feel your pain about the pacticalities. Red one fun and looked great but difficult to wear! Great video, beautiful styles!
Everyone of those items was a hit. Great way to show runway similar on a budget. The black/silver metallic with roses was adorable, you need to find a party and have your hair done with a victory roll to jazz it up.
All I can say is WOW!! You look absolutely stunning in ALL of the things you chose!! I think you need to go on a date night with the hubby to some fancy restaurant and wear that fabulous red skirt and shirt! If he's not up for it, go out with some girlfriends instead! That dress looks so stunning on you, it just has to be shown off and worn out somewhere! You both deserve a fun night out on the town! #CityChic has outdone themselves with all these gorgeous pieces! #BigOnStyle
I agree! She needs to go out on the town dinner and dancing; and why Not? Have fun and celebrate all of your hard work trying to look good (for yourself). Now it is time to enjoy yourselves. When I saw that red outfit it took my breath away. I was SO surprised on how it looked on you. Meringue? Tango? anyone?
Oh my this haul is terrific! I loved the suit on you and the dresses were all very cute I did really like the ivory/white one on you too! The trench coat is awesome & the black fringe was out of this world and the price was fantastic. I can see why you love city chic. I am going to have to try them out.
I think you looked fantastic in the navy and white floral dress. I also hope you kept the trench. This was a wonderful haul. Everything looked great. The blue fringy calypso dress and red dimensional flowers were terrific. Keep the calypso too!
Thank you thank you thank you. I love the beautiful fashions you showed! I thought all of them were amazing and I too thought the red would be awful, red being my favorite color, but it looked beautiful as well. Continue the good work I do enjoy you giving us fashion inspiration…
The metallic dress is sweet for sure. Looks stunning on you! The suit is amazing. So chic and so now! You are so blessed. That blue dress is really pretty too! I wish I had the arms to wear sleeveless items. I miss them!
Thank you! It seems like my UK and Australian viewers know khaki to be in the green family, and most of my US crew seem to be in the brown/tan camp! It is interesting!
Loved them all Meredith, love City Chic because they use clean lines and good tailoring in their clothing an me being full figured I love how it flatters my shape. They looked great on you, loved the floral black and white and your cut out dress it was very flattering and would look nice with pearl earrings an even a thin gold sparkly belt, it’s very elegant. Love how much you know about fashion, you make it fun and exciting. Thx
Meredith, hi! You could wear a black camisole under the black and white rose dress to close up the keyhole. You look so nice in that! And you need that white dress!
Thank you, that is actually much easier than sewing it up. I was looking at it last night and the way that the fabric moves would make a stitch awkward on some positions.
The jumpsuit is an easy fix , get a small bracelet or zipper pull for that purpose. Put the catch on the end of the zipper it will hang down and be beautiful like a little something extra and you can pull it up and down by yourself. I had to do this and it worked perfectly. Just a thought and so enjoyed as always.
You looked so beautiful in everything, but I’ll admit LuLu was so entertaining in this video. Did you train her to ring the bells to go outside, and if so, how did you do that? What type of doodle is she? She could have her own channel. I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend. Don’t ever forget you bring so much joy to everyone ❤️🤗
Thank you Marianne! Oh my goodness, Lulu and her bells! We trained her as a puppy to ring them when she needed to go outside and she picked it up quickly. The problem is that she knows it makes us get up, so she rings them when she is bored, too. I guess that she has trained us, too! She is a Sheepadoodle- half standard poodle, half old English sheepdog. She is precious, but so bad when people come over, she loses her mind for about 2 minutes, I keep thinking to at she will grow out of it, but she is almost 5!
That black fringe jacket is *chef's kiss* ! Everything looked great on you. I love the idea of a jumpsuit; they are so cute! However, contemplating getting half undressed to use the facilities... steers me away every time! 🤣 That flowered metallic dress was my favorite on you! Adorable!! Thank you for the fun video and the chuckles, I so enjoy your commentary.
I have a couple of jumpsuits that I will brace being half-naked in public restrooms for, but I have to draw the line at not being able to take it off/put it on myself! (But boy are they cute!!)
Thank you so much!! You know, I had only heard it once before starting RUclips, but I have had several people say that we favor since! If only I could sing!!
I have a Marshall’s haul, Walmart, Wantable, a brand called StyleWe all coming really soon- I will have swim suits with alternate bottoms (shorts and pants) in May. My next City chic, I think I’m doing vacation videos, so that will be very summery.
When you wear clothes that fit , make us happy, we wear the clothes ! Not other way around when we watch how we walk or sit or have to wear uñder garents . Nope when we are in our happy zoit shows . That red dress rocks
Fantastic video! Love how you interpreted the trends. Everything looked great on you. You underestimate how great that white dress looked on you. Everything about it was perfect for you and does NOT make you look bigger. Also really loved the black and white dress. Wear it to work with black hose and heels (colored hose was also a big trend). The pantsuit was awesome too, and those shoes were cute with it. Loved that little metallic dress on you, and it would be very sophisticated with dark hose and heels. If you don't have the party to wear it to, then you should CREATE the party 🤗 The whole thing was a lot of fun!!!
The blue dress was probably my favorite piece on you. Great color, cut, fit! And your string of jumpsuits has inspired me to try some in the store. So far, they are a no-go for me.. They are all too long. I did find a black romper that is adorable, though! Could you do a shoe video some time? I feel like I have hobbit feet, and shoe shopping is just not fun! Thanks Meredith!
I can't choose a favorite! The white floral dress and the metallic dress are probably tied for fjrst. The white lace dress was also very nice. I don't care for the green fringe personally but I do think you look nice in it and a tiki party would be the best place to wear it! You need to host a formal dinner with friends so that you can wear that red corset/skirt number! I didn't have high hopes for it on the kitchen counter, but wow! I love the split sleeves on the teal suit. It's definitely a work to night outfit. Love it! All winners today!
Thank you so much! I thought that red could go really bad really easily, but it turned out much nicer than I expected! I think you are right, a home dinner party may be just the event!
Love your videos. I'm a new fan. You're so real and fun and honest. Love your enthusiasm and love of fashion. The outfits were terrific... I've got to get over my "fear of sleeveless" Thank you!!!
It is very freeing when you do! There are so many options (especially in spring/summer) that we deny ourselves when we knock out all sleeveless options. I would just get one too or dress that you love the look of and wear it around people that you care about- I promise, no one is thinking about your arms in any negative way! I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment!
Khaki is the yellowish brown used on military uniforms. In fact, my dad would refer to his uniforms as whites and khakis depending on which one he was wearing. US Navy
US khaki is the yellowish brown worn by the US military. The UK (and British Çommonwealth?) armies use a green khaki so if City Chic is Australian, that checks out.
I loved it all!! There were a few standouts like the olive drab (not khaki) dress and the fringe jacket. Fringe is never out of style for me. Thank you for doing what you do and always your beautiful smile. Love ya!!
@@BigonStyle Of course I would never hear of the brands except Wal-Mart and a Canadian Store called "Giant Tiger" that sells very nice fashion ladies clothes and shoes and for all family members; as well as food, home decor and other things like a one stop shop and at very reasonable prices for the clothes. Their night gowns are SO soft and I got some for our winter weather. I got the long ones because I don't like wearing pajama bottoms.
Actually, I agree with another comment or you look beautiful in every one of these dresses. Don’t let anybody tell you differently, you look amazing in all of them!!
Excellent job of interpreting runway trends! I love the black and white dress and would sew a few inches of the keyhole to make it very modest. It was very flattering. The whole collection was very flattering! The only problem was the zipped back on the jumpsuit, but it looked great on you. Most of the prices were really good, but all of them were pretty reasonable and looked like quality pieces. This was probably my favorite collection that you have shown. I was skeptical about the last outfit until I saw it on you. It was gorgeous! I hated that orange skirt from a previous video, but this was beautiful. The white crocheted dress was beautiful, too. The turquoise fringed dress looked great with the undergarments that you chose. I can see it as an at home hostess outfit. I can't think of a "least favorite " outfit. They are all keepers.
That is high praise! It is funny how that orange skirt and this red one were so similar in silhouette but so different in performance- I had no clue what the red would do on, but was really pleased! Thank you so much! This was probably my favorite one to reaearch!
@@BigonStyle Keep it girl! (the red outfit). I am sure your hubby won't get tired of seeing it on you, and showing you off when he takes you out on a "hot date" or two. Rock it and own it!!!
I’m had the bridesmaids at my wedding choose a black dress they could wear again. My MOH got sick so I had to get a substitute and when she asked if she could do formal pants instead I was like duh. I want y’all to wear things that are comfortable and wearable for other occasions.
Very nice selections. Even if you felt the last dress was impractical, I think you wore it better than the model. It is very figure flattering and would be a fun valentine's dress or New Years or as you said 'vacuuming'. Now I am off to look at the City Chic site. Thank you!
Having lived overseas for 40 years I have found khaki to be used mostly for the army green tones. The word means earth colors. I always assumed khaki was only tan until my husband had army green khaki fatigues called Khakis. Great dresses. You puppy is so cute and smart to ring the bell to be let out. ❤
Rita, I have learned more about khaki today than I ever thought I would- it seems like other countries use it for more army green, which makes sense given the etemology (I did not know that khaki meant earth colors!) Thank you so much!
I have seen some that look awesome!! I think my next one with City Chic will either be vacay vibes or wedding guest dresses - I bet that I could make hot pink work in either!
Meredith I just watched a haul you did a year ago. You have really lost a lot of weight since then. Way to go pretty lady. I find you funny and entertaining. I can't wait to you do another.
Thank you so much, Barbara, it has been a long, slow process with several backslides, but I am going to keep chugging along. I really appreciate you!! ❤️❤️❤️
Girl, you're rockin' it ALL! My faves that looked fab on you were the black/white rose dress, the cut-out white was knockout gorgeous, absolutely loved the floral jumpsuit, the black fringe jacket, and lastly, the red rose dress which fit your shape perfectly! 🎨Khaki is tan with golden undertones.🎨 I've never been one to follow the catwalk. The clothes always hang on the models like oversized drapery. Think Carol Burnette "Gone with the Wind" skit.
Went with the wind!!! I remember, I need to go rewatch it- the curtains were pretty memorable! I really appreciate you, Rosemary! Thank you for your kind words - and khaki knowledge 😉
I loved that skit; everyone broke out laughing when she said "Oh, it's just something I found in the window" and she had the rod in it still. Too much!
The teal pantsuit can you an hourglass shape.
The black and white Erin dress looks gorgeous on you!
Everything looked good on you. I thought the red 2 piece looked knockout on you. If you keep it I hope you find an event glamorous enough to wear it to. My other favourites were the white dress, the floral jumpsuit and that fringed jacket.
The red dress at the end may be silly but it looked great on you!
You looked so good in everything loved that power suit on you 🤍
That black/white roses dress w/espadrilles (you're pronouncing it correctly) made you look like one hot momma. Looking good!
I loved that last outfit on you, the red one with the 3 red flowers, stunning. I could see it being worn to a New Year's party, wedding, Valentine dinner date, even a Christmas party. Loved it.

I love the split sleeves on the teal suit. It's definitely a work to night outfit. Love it! All winners today!
Thank you so much! I thought that red could go really bad really easily, but it turned out much nicer than I expected! I think you are right, a home dinner party may be just the event!
Terrific clothing. EVERYTHING looked awesome on you. Love it!
Thank you!
I love the green dress and the Black and white floral. you can tell that these clothes are quality! Thank you for all the research!
I love absolutely everything! The black fringe jacket is not my style but it was cut on you, would be really fun to wear to a country western bar. 😊
Thank you, Sheila- it would be the perfect Rodeo jacket!!
Khaki is the yellowish brown used on military uniforms. In fact, my dad would refer to his uniforms as whites and khakis depending on which one he was wearing. US Navy
I love that- I always call my husnband’s tan pants khakis.
US khaki is the yellowish brown worn by the US military. The UK (and British Çommonwealth?) armies use a green khaki so if City Chic is Australian, that checks out.
You're correct about khaki - it's a beige-tan
Thank you, Debbie! I have chosen several green items lately that are called khaki!
I loved it all!! There were a few standouts like the olive drab (not khaki) dress and the fringe jacket. Fringe is never out of style for me. Thank you for doing what you do and always your beautiful smile. Love ya!!
Thank you so much, Anita!! I have discovered a lot of opinions on khaki!
You rock that red dress and I think you could wear it on a romantic dinner with your husband. You looked great in all the other outfits too.
Thank you so much for doing a Citi Chic! I love this brand!
Thank you, Donna! They are probably my favorite plus size shop right now!
You always do such a good and thorough job on your videos!
My favorite piece on you was the white dress with the "air-conditioning."
Thank you so much- That one actually surprised me with how much I liked it! I couldn’t tell online what it would do on!
Love the ivory dress on you. The sheer blue dress was pretty and liked the trench coat. Love the red skirt and to outfit on you.
Thank you so much, Neda!
I love 💖 the red outfit at the end💕. I guess it could be my new dog walking dress. Lol I have no where to wear it either.
A dog walking dress!!! I think that Lulu would approve! I should totally try it
@@BigonStyle too funny! xoxo
Actually, I agree with another comment or you look beautiful in every one of these dresses. Don’t let anybody tell you differently, you look amazing in all of them!!
I love the hubby in the "fringe" of the shot 😂 I feel like a quote from Red Rider is needed here, "Lunatic fringe, I know you're out there."
I love almost everything you tried one except the first. The white dress and the red, very last dress are my favorites on you!
I really liked everything in this haul. Marlene
I think the black jacket looked great with the white jumpsuit. The red skirt and top is so fun! A great evening out outfit. 😊
I’m had the bridesmaids at my wedding choose a black dress they could wear again. My MOH got sick so I had to get a substitute and when she asked if she could do formal pants instead I was like duh. I want y’all to wear things that are comfortable and wearable for other occasions.
Ok, you sound like you were the best bride ever!
I love all the dresses! And the jackets!!! Too bad about the floral jumpsuit, it was really cute but not practical. ❤️
I know- I really wish that the jumpsuit had a different way to get in and out- I loved the look of it!
Your husband’s not so stealth exit.😂😂😂 I understand why you love this manufacturer! Cute and they seem to be quality.
Thank you so much! He sure is a pretty special not-so-sneaky guy!
They are really well made garments!
The ivory dress looks stunning on
Very nice selections. Even if you felt the last dress was impractical, I think you wore it better than the model. It is very figure flattering and would be a fun valentine's dress or New Years or as you said 'vacuuming'. Now I am off to look at the City Chic site. Thank you!
Thank you, Ellen! It is easy to get lost on the site, they have some great options! I like your options for the red dress!
Erin dress is beautiful, all class dress is stunning. They are all beautiful. Absolutely awesome video
I really love City Chic, their clothing is such high quality- I think the Erin was my overall favorite!
@@BigonStyle What, not the red outfit? C'mon, you rocked in that red one!
Rita, I have learned more about khaki today than I ever thought I would- it seems like other countries use it for more army green, which makes sense given the etemology (I did not know that khaki meant earth colors!)
Thank you so much!
Did you see any bright pinks. I’ve been seeing them and decided to go for it. Your outfits were beautiful. You are always so enjoyable to watch ❤
I have seen some that look awesome!! I think my next one with City Chic will either be vacay vibes or wedding guest dresses - I bet that I could make hot pink work in either!
I was trying to find a top with teal in it for one of my sister's and I couldn't even find one (teal green). I see Meredith found one in a pant suit.
You looks god in everything.
Never a need to apologize for the doggos they are always precious
@@BigonStyle I appreciate you and your channel, too. 💞Your passion for fashion is contagious!
I loved that skit; everyone broke out laughing when she said "Oh, it's just something I found in the window" and she had the rod in it still. Too much!
The Arlette is so cute!!
I really thought that one was sweet, too!
