I love the fact that on live you can grind your player with no money
That’s why they don’t make basketball games anymore.
That and the game had plenty of new clothes and content being made available when it was first released. No Microtransactions whatsoever

@@xxCapitalPxx actually, the last 2k I played was 2k18. I didn't even pay full price for that garbage. Even renting it from Redbox for a whole weekend felt like a straight ripoff

Crazy thing is when this game came out I was talking hella bad about it. But now, that I’m looking at it, compared to what we have now with 2k. This game is actually looking smooth AF. Love just needs that pro play feature because the only thing wrong with it is the animations
2k sent Hella bots came after NBA Live, and it worked. I remember that.
Alot people hated on live back then.. SMH they always compare it to 2k.. I liked Live 19 from the jump but all these people was riding that 2k wave. I was done 2k long time ago. 2k14 was the last one I played REAL TALK 💯 .. I came to realization after working so hard on my myplayer and grinding 2k gunna take it all away from me by the end of year when they make new game..😡😤😤 I was like I over it Nba live let u play online till this day with your MPlayer .. Never will I be sucker to 2k .. all those people still play the game and fall for it financially are all suckas that company.

I deleted 2K earlier this week. Its already too many games out to play right now. When i need a basketball fix NBA Live is perfect for it. And i really appreciate NOT having to make micro transactions
When this game first came out, I felt like this had better realistic vibes than 2K and I still feel that way in terms of realistic parks and pro-ams like Drew League. It just gives like a realistic fun vibe also showing you on live is a cool modern concept when you have highlights. They have the blueprint to be successful but they still have work to do with animations and story mode with my player but they definitely should be dropping live again and working on those things cause they could definitely make it a run for they money. Definitely when considering the way 2K just be dropping anything now and not dropping quality, not to mention micro transactions on player upgrades. I think part of 2k decline in quality is that they know they game will sell only because it’s no other nba basketball video game that comes out yearly competing for sales to force them to lock in.

I liked it when Live was out.. it made the community better and more diverse... I hate live... but enjoy 2k.. I don't like that live players only have 2k as an option... it's ruining the basketball gaming community

Been running live since 2020. Best thing I could have done cause 2k literally has been garbage for the last 5 years and i refuse to pay a arm and a leg to purchase a game I’m gonna stop playing in less than a month

Just downloaded it yesterday...you can build a player in a day instead of 3 months....i can hit 3 pointers in live with a 80 Ovr but cant in 2k24 with a 89 overall three pointer.....if your not maxed 99Ovr good luck hitting threes...ive being trying for three months and 20 different jumpers 😭🤣🤣

was the last "2K Basketball Game" I bought other than a couple of those NBA Street / NBA Ballers games ( those were awesome now that I think of it! OFFLINE OBVIOUSLY.)
I continued to buy and play NBA Live up until Live 19'.. then back to 2K20 because that was my only option. I got FIBER-INTERNET in June of 21' and FINALLY got to see what I was really made of ONLINE. LOL.. I didn't know what to think with the MyPlayer Builder and having to start at 60 OVR 😭😭... AND all the MONEY I'd spend from then through S2 of 2K23 on Current-GEN and from S2 on Next-GEN until S4 of 2K24. Regardless.. I figured I'd be able to hold my own because I've always played on HOF-Difficulty and even though I played NBA Live way more than 2K. I should dust it off and see what's up!... NOT. It had some good qualities but the game had forced animations that had people couldn’t do anything about like a step back was almost always an ankle break no matter how predictable the move was
