I love that you say where you are based. I feel whether a plant is high or low light (or what you consider as such) depends a lot on where you are in the world. I bought one of these beauties last week, wish me luck❤
Thank you. Have a mouldae a common one but this was a great help and confirmed also a few of the things I am doing correct. I am in US Michigan,,bbbrrrrrrLO!
Hi there and thanks for sharing your experience here ! I am a bit of an orchids fanatic and got 5 Paphiopedilums indoors, they are doing fine but because they are so slow growers I always had the doubt if they would do better outdoors... Now Ive seem your sister plants and am happy with keepping mine indoors ! Cheers and keep up sharing your successes ! Kind regards from Säo Paulo- Brasil.
I have a path that is quite old. It's bloomed many times but I fear it is now dieing. It has a produced a baby which is thriving. Wondering if my parent plant(s) are reaching the end of a natural life cycle. Or I may also have over watered.
Well....they do produce new fans, often annually, and eventually the oldest ones will die off, so if you have a healthy new plant forming I wouldn't worry!
I’ve had my path for probably 2 years now, has two fans with a new one growing but not flowered yet on older fans ? Not sure what is wrong 🤔. Thank you for sharing I’m gonna re think
“Give them a tonic, like a hot chocolate” I love that! Great way to put it ❤
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video Matthew. I’d never heard of these orchids until this video so learning from your videos as per usual 👍👍

Good luck! Give them more light than you'd imagine and you should be fine!
Thanks again for sharing your experience with orchids. What a great and somewhat surprising experiment result! Very helpful.

Why are these NOT in grocery stores or home improvement places.. Just the regular phals?
I know! We should start a petition....!
I am in Melb too. Where did you buy yours?
I bought this at the www.gardenloversfair.com.au/ in Mt Macedon. Hopefully the fair will be on again in 2022.
