I'm looking for the one very much like this, but was a long bit involving Dave coming over from the monologue, finding something wrong with his chair, wordlessly running down several street blocks with it, and is finally paid off by Dave walking into Dan's frame while doing a broadcast, heavily implying he stole Dave's chair, and Dan getting up and switching chairs without interrupting a syllable of his reporting. I would love to see this again.
This is from a piece where Dave was running around looking for something. I've never laughed so hard in my life and want to find the entire piece, but this was the best part of it! Thank you!
There was another one where Dave infiltrates the lobby by the set where Dan's doing the news and changes his time card to make it look like he never came in. A bit later in the show, after a commercial break, you see Dan standing in the display behind Dave's desk on his "Late Show" set, glowering, and saying "Watch it, punk!" Would love to see that posted here some day....
