After years of feeling uncomfortable with his male body, Billy finally came up with a solution: he underwent sex reassignment surgery to become the woman he had always felt he was. However, the change didn't bring him the relief he had sought, and neither did it solve any of his problems. After seven years of being a woman, Billy reverted back to being a man.
Rene Jax was born and raised as a male. She used to dress as a woman before she actually took the plunge to become female. The hormone therapy and breast augmentation that followed didn't satisfy Jax. Gender dysphoria-the condition of feeling disconnected from your sex-persisted. Now she says her gender reassignment was a mistake, merely cosmetic surgery.
Walt Heyer felt trapped in his male body. In 1983, he finally became Laura Jensen. He believed it was a genetic disorder that had caused his gender dysphoria. However, it wasn't until he had reverted back to his original sex that Heyer realized his issues stemmed from the trauma of sexual abuse. He now counsels people who are considering gender reassignment.
Directed by Artyom Vorobey, "I Want My Sex Back" is the personal story of three men who regretted changing genders. They recount their experiences and how they came to terms with their disappointments and regrets. Leave your comment below and share.

I'm so glad these people are allowed to tell their stories. So many are being attacked, dismissed and shunned for doing so when it doesn't fit the current narrative.

Please pray for my son Phillip age 38. He thinks he is a female. He was a skinny little nerdy awkward kid but all boy. He got into computer games went to college and announced he was no longer a Christian but now an atheist. He got into anime and that was the downward spiral. He had several crushes on girls throughout his 20’s but they were not reciprocated. 6 years ago he dumped our entire family ( including three sweet siblings ). We found out about 18 months ago that he was now trans as he announced it on Facebook. His photo is disturbing - he looks like a little girl ( I think it’s a weird sex thing ). His only hope is sorrowful repentance .

I had 5 brothers and I desperately wanted to be a boy when I was little. I'm so glad I was born in the 1960s because if I'd been born in this generation, they would have totally screwed me up! I am 100% female and glad for it.

This documentary needs to be shown to everyone who is considering transitioning. I don’t deny transition is beneficial for certain individuals but the amount of people being diagnosed as gender dysphoric is blown way out of proportion. Many people who think they’re trans are actually just gay or depressed

This should be shown in every high school health class if they're also pushing the agenda of its ok to change genders.

This should be seen by all Public/Private school students as a requirement to Graduate, especially 6th-12th grade.

I work in a psychiatry medical group. Our practice is seeing an exponential spike in patients with transition regret. What's so frustrating and shocking is psychiatry professionals fear speaking out about this because the medical community is brainwashed by money and fear. My hope is more stories come out and brave professionals speak up regardless of their fears. We need to prevent this from happening to more people, especially children!

Some detransitioners have said that they were threatened by the trans lobby for speaking publicly about their experience. Some also said that they had a lot of help and encouragement while they were transitioning but they were literally abandoned when they decided to detransition.

This is sad...so many regret it cause it was a mental issue not a physical.... But we all make bad decisions

I’ve never actually heard of anyone transitioning to female/male and then wanting to go back to their original sex. Great story and brave people to speak up.

I’m a progressive. Just wanted to get this out of the way in case anyone thinks that only right-wingers feel the way I do. I work as a healthcare provider in psychiatry

My niece transitioned after 2 years of living as man". Went on T, had a double mastectomy, married a woman. Sadly, she ended up regretting her decision. She told me and my sister, ( her mother), that it was the worst thing she could have done. She sadly committed suicide at the young age of 25. And to think parents are allowing their minor children to make the life altering decisions and even encouraging it it totally disgusting. And no one wants to hear the bad stuff about transitioning. They just want to get on the trend train. It's the cool thing to do in school. It's so sad. RIP Rebecca. We miss you so.

They don’t tell you that once you transition, you’ll never have normal sex again.

"You are now safe with me forever" what every hurting child needs to hear

The facial feminisation surgery doesn't make them look female, but messes them up to not look male.

  • @Missycrissy323

My sister suffers from gender dysphoria. It’s been heartbreaking seeing her struggle with her identity through the years. She’s 28 now and thankfully has not had surgery but the hormones have really affected her. She’ll have times of clarity where she sees how bad it is for her and will start detransitioning, then relapse and go back to hormone therapy. It’s like an addiction. Our family loves her no matter what, but it’s like she can’t love herself. We pray for her continually. These testimonies were so encouraging. ❤

My heart breaks for these people… to be hurting so bad that you hate who you are and feel “transitioning״ is how you escape that pain (even if you don’t want to admit it..) I hope all these people can find happiness.

Billy has one of those faces, that if I saw him, I couldn't tell if he was female or male.
