I like to show this to my cat and after a while of her going crazy trying to get it I bring out a real shoelace for her to play with so she doesn’t feel like all that chasing was for nothing lol
I got my first Kitten and I do the same! Sometimes if I’m busy and the dog isn’t in the mood to chase with her (though that’s rare) I will put one of these videos on while I do my chores or cook tea. Then I get her toys and let her go nuts and bite and claw it til she decides she wants dinner and some alone time to groom. Do you guys have any tips for a first time cat adopter? She’s an all white fluff ball with one green eye and one blue. She’s also deaf but she doesn’t seem phased. I was walking my dog and up and ahead at the traffic lights (busy road too) I saw a group of Magpies and minor birds attacking what I thought was another bird. I go closer and saw it was this tiny little kitten and I stopped the traffic and grabbed her. She was so tiny and a bit grubby. I knocked on all the houses and called all the local vets but see seemed she had no humans looking for her. I have her some food and cut the dried up poo clumps in her hair near her bottom and let her sleep. The next day I took her to the pound and said if she has no owner I will take her back. She had no microchip and because she was so tiny (maybe 5/6 weeks) I could take her right away because she needed extra care. She was a bit under weight too. She was probably a stray. Perhaps abandoned by her mum because she was deaf and couldn’t hear her calls? Who knows. But she is loving our home! I was so surprised and out of my mind that my dog loved her! They play chase all over the house and the bed! They cuddle and sleep together and he always wags his tail and gives her nose a lick when she wakes up. He is a little bit of a cranky boy so I was incredibly stoked that he loved her! He treats her like his own puppy! Would love some tips tho as I said I’m new to the cat world!
I had to say goodbye yesterday to Vlad, my Siamese (throat cancer). This was his favourite video, I watched it with him one last time before he passed. Thank you 😭
This video creeped out both my cats. They couldn't figure out who was pulling the string. They looked behind the tablet and everything. They both poorer up and DoD the sideways glance. I had to turn it off and both of them were jump for about 5 minutes. I couldn't touch them without them jumping. I guess they knew there was something off about it. I'm glad other kitties are enjoying the video.
Gads! My kitty always watches birds and squirrels but seems bored. I put this on and the little bugger went nuts. At first he just patted the screen. Then he lunged, pushed the laptop almost off of the desk, knocked other items off of the desk...then he got scared, ran and is cat-calling down the hall. It's a winner! 😄😂🤣
My 2 year old cat loves strings and 3 mm diameter sticks, more than birds. On the screen: she does not swallow them.. thanks bini tv (i do allow her to play with 1 m christmas decoration : metal beans strng, she is not able to get a grip on.. 😂
