I’m 51 now and I’ve been a beginner piano player for 48 years. Your lessons and great attitude are going to help me change that bro.
Beginner for 48 years🤣🤣🤣
@@EziEzi "A true master is an eternal student"
I’m 61 and that’s the best way to describe my playing I’ve ever heard. Mind if I borrow it?
@@russsalsman3512 Absolutely! I decided to be honest with people in life because people deserve to hear the truth and from that a person can decide to get better from it or not. Myself included.
You are a God sent for me Josef! Why did not i find you earlier!!! Your teaching method is very easy to understand and I am already speeding up my learning and playing. Thank you SO MUCH FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION FOR US!
A few weeks back before the lockdown, I walked up to a baby grand piano in a shopping centre in Chester and started playing stuff I’d learned from your videos, I remember feeling red faced and a little nervous because it was a first for me but it didn’t stop me. Thanks for the knowledge you’re passing on Jo.
That’s amazing Matt. Anyone stop and listen?
A few listened, it was by a coffee shop so they had no choice😜 it was fun though.....I guess that’s the whole point.
Way to go, Jo. Yippee
@@MattSaysSmile Good on you man , pretty soon you will have youtube videos up showing you playing in different coffee shops around the globe... :-)
Steve Ligon Cheers, I’m a bass player really, I’m glad I stumbled upon Jo’s RUclips Channel, it’s always fun to learn new stuff and he’s a excellent teacher.
You're one of the best tutor I've come across. Please keep educating and inspiring other. Much love and respect.
I literally just want to say a massive thank you to yourself for your amazing channel. I’m a self taught player (6 months piano, 12 years classical guitar), but got stuck with ideas for what to practice and play. I never improved at all, now I’ve found your channel I can actually hear an improvement and haven’t yet not found something new to practice from your channel. My improvement and heightened enjoyment is all down to your channel. So thank you very much.
Josef, we really appreciate the time and effort you put into the relaxed tutorials.
Boom! Day 3 done... More coming up. This should keep the beginners happy. As always, request epic pianoy goodness below.
Such a good teacher !!!!
I am living for these videos!!! every day something new to sit and chill with.. It doesn't feel like laborious or overly complicated and I'm learning new stuff at the same time!! Thank you so much for all these videos cant wait to see what's coming next!
Perfectly put together instructional! I love your appreciation to incorporate some creativity .... and more than anything, to have FUN with the piano! Thank you!!
Thank you very much! In the name of all new beginners ♥️
Brilliant.. Simple but very effective. Liked it when you brought that B into the bass line near the end. Great video. (Hans Zimmer's favourite composing key is D I believe....I only read that yesterday).
Great exercises to get the brain moving well on the keys! These videos lately have been just amazing man I really appreciate your time! Stay healthy!
You too, you’re welcome man.
You have a gift for teaching! Thank you for a fine video. I appreciate it.
Yippee, a different key - love it. Thank you as always.
Fantastic. Thank you so much. Just started playing piano, less than one week, loving you channel. 👍
You opened up a whole new world for me on piano!!!! Your very good teacher!!!!
You’re a fantastic teacher! Really enjoying these. Simple, beautiful, great for the beginner like myself.
Very,very nice Josef ! D major is a nice chord ! I like the D major scale too ! :-)
Amazing. This incremental and creative approach to piano pedagogy is wonderful! Thank you.
Great stuff June. Glad you like my content.
Yes, you're pretty good. I've written out some of your warm-up stuff.
I'm 42 and start playing piano two weeks ago. Thank you for your videos! It's awesome for me playing these little melodies after some trys.
Greetings from Germany 👋.
Keep playing! I'm 40 and started in June of last year. Its rewarding to progress!
This is exaclty what i've been looking for..just tried it and it sounds great. Only been playing for a few months now and it's going well but wanted something like this just to mess around with when i'm not practicing. I've got a few 'go to's ' but they were becoming a bit monotonous.
Love the background set up! Im totally glued to the piano during this quarantine.
Hi Joe.... Just found your channel today.... It's Brilliant.... Really pleased.... You seem to be
an excellent tutor and your tutorials are full of information and yet they are short and to the point.... First Class Joe.... John.... Manchester.
Wuauuu play this secuence with obtive and the right pedal....and you feel like you play a hand pan.... addictive!😃
my 8 month old daughter wants to say something... "kjkjm, lmnt6jkukmigiJKOx" I concur. :)

I recently purchased a 61key electronic keyboard my main question would be how do I work on individual finger control.... so far your videos have been life saving...
you're a very good teacher
Bloody brilliant! Instant sub! Oh, I want one of those shirts......
I need to open a t-shirt shop
Great and beautiful exercise , thank you!
Great.
Beautiful! Thank you!
This scale of D its so nice i need to learn more in this scale plz,,good lesson
that is class man. i've just been watching these with a beer so far but i really got to get in front of the piano and try these out.
Hahahaha I do it with both! I think thats the perfect combo.
It would actually be a great idea to show the different keys/scales and several fitting chord progressions.
Most of the stuff you can find is in the key of C but after a while you look out for more 😊👍🏻
Chord progressions definitely. Once you got the principle though with a bit of thought and application you could try it using any key you wish. Part of the self discovery thing I'm going for right now i guess!
Can you show us how to play what you played at the end of this video?
I love you sir I am from India
And I really want to learn piano.
Thankyou sir for beautiful lessons.

I just find the key of D so ethereal I wonder why this would be? You can play the same notes in another key but it wouldn't have the same feel.
Could you explain this to me please Josef.?
*Well done.*
