- In this POV video I take you with me as I go on a photo walk in downtown Copenhagen. I'm armed with my trusted Fuji x100V and the 35mm equivalent focal length.
As I walk the streets of Copenhagen I breakdown the composition of the street photographs I make and explain my thought process along the way.
Hope you enjoy and can get inspired to make your own great street photographs next time you go out on the streets.

ABOUT:
This channel is all about Street photography for new and aspiring street photographers. I usually share Street photography advice, beginner tips and tricks, in general how to improve your Street photography whether it's day street photography, night street photography, environmental or documentary Street photography.
I also have weekly vlog-styled videos where I talk about my Street photography journey in a more relaxed manner with topics that are more niche. These videos are mostly suitable to listen to with a cup of coffee, while working or commuting.

Love seeing street photograpy from CPH, great shots and great work!
Thank you appreciate it 🙏🏽📸
The last shot was dope! Love your philosophy and mindset when it comes to composition and using light and shadows keep up the good work.
Thank you appreciate it 💫📸
Wonderful. Loved it. 😊❤
Thank you 🤩
Beautiful photos! My favorite it’s the one with the waiter. I totally enjoyed your talk through compositions. Thank you!
Thank you. They came out great 🤩
Please make some street photography videos on busy areas in the evening or at night time.
Please check out the POV playlist. There are plenty content for you to explore 📸
Very nice.
How come streets are so empty, what time of day is this??. If possible do a POV shoot in some busy area. People like me who live in crowded countries will benefit more from crowded street photography. CT
That’s Copenhagen for you 👀
Shadow Workers 💫
💫📸
Nice photos but what is so interesting about a photo of someone coming out of a door or a waiter walking on the street, or is it just the aesthetics? No offence, I have no idea about street photography, just asking out of interest.
No offence taken :) it’s a street photographer thing I guess.
I wonder how come you chose to watch the video if you’re not into Street photography? 🤔
@@hipster_cph I watch your videos (not only this one) because I'm trying to find out what street photography is about.
Out of curiosity: what did motivate you to take these pictures in particular?
Sounds fair.
So the guys coming out of the door was a “chance” photo. It just happened and I “just” stood there at the right time to capture the moment. I think it looks cool with the old architecture and the workers coming out.
The second the shadow workers series including the waiter is just a great composition and how I could take a simple photo of “just a waiter” and turn it into something mysterious for the viewer to look at ie. more than half his body covered by shadows. Might provoke a “what’s his story” etc.
Again Street photography is all about capturing moments on the street - the overlooked ones, the mundane ones and the ordinary ones.
@@hipster_cph Thank you, Ambreen, for this insight into your thought process. I guess that I’m just lacking this type of fantasy or creativity… for me a waiter coming out of a restaurant is just that, a waiter coming out of a restaurant. I don’t see there any hidden story…
But that isn’t a surprise at all. I started with landscape photography and only recently discovered street photography, and I have to admit that I’m more drawn towards documentary style street photography.
