Assen - De TT nacht zit er weer op. Naar schatting honderd duizend bezoekers hebben hun vertier in d e binnenstad en op,de kermis gezocht zondagnacht. Het was een vrolijke nacht en naar het nu lijkt met weinig incidenten maar daar zal deze dag meer duidelijkheid over worden gegeven. De motorliefhebbers hebben hun vertier gehad en sommigen zullen wellicht de TT races die om 11 uur beginnen nooit zien vanwege de alcoholische invloeden maar het merendeel toog vanochtend rond vijf uur naar de baan om een goed plekje te kunnen bemachtigen en andere zochten hun tentje op de TT camping op om toch nog even bij te slapen. Maar wat zeker is dat de bezoekers een leuk maar vooral feestelijk nachtje hadden gehad. Dit was overigens al de derde TT nacht. Donderdag waren de festiviteiten van start gegaan. Doordat de TT races nu op zondag worden gehouden, voorheen was dit zaterdag, is er een nacht bij aangeknupt en niet zonder succes. Toch zien veel Asseneneren de laatste nacht, dus zondagnacht, voor de TT races als de enige echte TT nacht omdat dan alles in de binnenstad samenkomt. De eerste sprintrace ooit in de MotoGP op het TT Circuit werd zaterdag door 41.500 toeschouwers langs de baan bekeken. Ook al een succesje en Marco Bezzecchi won de sprint race. Overigens bezochten vorig jaar 166000 bezoekers de TT races. Door het schitterende weer denkt de organisatie dit aantal te gaan overtreffen. Het is inmiddels de 91 ste editie.

Assen - The Tt night is over again. An estimated one hundred thousand visitors sought their entertainment in the city center and at the fair on Sunday night. But what is certain is that the visitors had a fun but above all festive night. This was already the third TT night. The festivities started on Thursday. Because the TT races are now held on Sunday, previously this was Saturday, an extra night has been added and not without success. Yet many people of Assen see the last night, so Sunday night, for the TT races as the one and only TT night because then everything comes together in the city center. The first-ever sprint race in MotoGP on the TT Circuit was watched by 41,500 trackside spectators on Saturday. Also a success and Marco Bezzecchi won the sprint race. Incidentally, 166,000 visitors visited the TT races last year. Due to the beautiful weather, the organization expects to exceed this number. It is now the 91st edition.
