The best order to do those 2 attractions is Museum First-to understand the scope of importance that the Acropolis has Then visit the site itself ( early AM) that way it's not just a pile of rocks on top of a bigger rock
I was in Greece a few months ago we crossed the boarder into turkey then rented a boat in Istanbul it had a bedroom and costed 2500 a month and we took it from Istanbul all the way to tangier and back and visited almost every country in the medertaraniln it was expensive but so worth it if you don’t know how to ride the boat you can also hire someone for 400 a month

That’s what we did! But we visited the Acropolis and Slopes in the evening and it was beautiful as the sun was setting.
