I grew up with this song as my mom put me in sleep singing this sing as lullaby. I remember very well that every time she cried deeply with this song. I always was looking for it and thought I would never find the song let alone such a great performance from someone who his face and his features are so match with the song and his performance. (the name Ali, is also suggestive of Imam Ali in the Islamic Shia faith. he is a strong religious as well as a warrior character in the Iranian culture. Ali is a very old Semitic name however with its root in the word El, meaning God.)
I think most Iranian grocery stores that carry music would have it. One in Chicago called Pars Grocery has the old AND all the new stuff. Everything from Googoosh, Hayedeh and Darius from back in the day to the lastest Persian pop. Call them I am sure if they don't have it they could probably tell you where you could buy in in LA.

He faught against the rich people how stole money from the poor farmers. the reason you find the music "reminding" you of Iran's Ayatollah's is because since old times most 'noheh-khany' songs in religious mourning ceremonies have made use of traditional folk songs like this one otherwise this is one of the most beautiful and original Bakhtiari songs from Iran.
I have no expertise on choreography but i could recognize some *CHOOB-BAZI* moves in this dance. Choob-bazi (=wood fight) is a ceremonial practice performed by two iranian ehnicities, persian *BAKHTIARIs* and turkic *QASHQA'Is* .
